Meara smiled as she ran right beside him. Her heart was beating fast, not because of the hardness of the run - for it wasn't hard - but the fact that they were running so consistently with on another. She liked to think of him being her companion and kissing her as well as being his best friend. She liked that thought way too much... They approached the finish line, and Meara smiled like crazy that she was still right beside him...

Haydn smiled at her. There was something so innocent and shy about her, even through her beauty... He hadn't met many vampires who were quite as shy or laid back and he liked it immensely. He felt a little bad, he just wanted to start kissing her right then and, possibly, never stop. Still he ignored it as they walked together. "Come on, I have the perfect place! We could get some good blood there..."

Sam grinned as they crossed the finish line at exactly the same time. He laughed before he came to a stop and grinned over at her. The other students and the teacher in the class were staring at them, obviously thinking the same thing that Sam had been thinking; the two were absolute equals. They could run together easily. Ultimately, that meant that they were basically the perfect mates for each other. Not that any of the students, the teacher, nor Sam, would say this out loud. "Well, I don't think we decided on anything for if we tied," he mused quietly.

Lisa gave a grin before she nodded slightly to his words. "I hope you're right about that," she said in a sing-song voice, honestly really hoping that he was right. She hadn't had good blood in a long time, because the school just gave them blood bags that the hospitals couldn't use - usually because the blood was over a month old and the hospital nearby liked using blood that was newer than that.

Meara blinked a few times as they crossed the finish line at the same time, their feet falling into a rhythm that they were running exactly alike one another. She knew what it meant... Pairs like that would could run perfectly in sync were physically meant to be together... It was like a werewolf matchmaker... The telltale sign of it. She could feel everyone's eyes flickering between her and Sam but she pretended not to notice it... She pretended like she didn't understand it as Sam spoke to her. "No! Well that didn't settle anything! What are we supposed to do now?!" She nudged his ribs as she spoke and pretended like they were best friends... Not potential mates.

Haydn smiled at the way that she still seemed resistant and willing to believe that he was taking her to some place good. True, he usually didn't get a very good reputation at the school on account of his partying, but he knew he was going to settle down at some point... Lisa made him think about settling down in an instant... He would give up anything and everything to be with her. "Don't you worry! You can trust me!" He said, feeling the urge to grab her hand, but avoiding it. He had a friend a few blocks from the school. This friend was one who he tried not to mention as "his friend" because he was quite the gangster in the town - though quite the Robin Hood of vampires in Haydn's eyes. He would round up all of the scum and dirtbag criminals and creeps that called themselves humans and gave them off to vampires to finish them off. No one would think someone so evil would have such good blood, but it was grade-A blood! A nice pick-me-up every once and a while when a vampire got sick of nasty blood bags. "Here we are!" He finally announced.

Sam gave a slight chuckle before he shrugged and grinned. "We could go watch two movies? The one of your choice and the one of mine?" he suggested with an arched eyebrow. He liked the idea quite a bit, as it gave him more time to spend with her. And, who was he to pass up the opportunity to suggest such a thing when it could end in his favor? He ran a hand through his hair before glancing around slightly, noticing the stares that they were receiving. He easily brushed them off; he didn't care what others thought. Just because they thought it didn't mean that Meara thought it - though, he had to admit that he hoped she was thinking the same thing as he and everybody else was.

Lisa blinked before tilting her head to the side and glancing around. "Well, let's hope it was worth the wait," she teased before looking back up at him. She arched an eyebrow before smiling slightly, enjoying herself as she watched Haydn. He seemed rather interesting to her; which was odd, since she never really thought of anybody as interesting. Most others just seemed to bore her easily. Not him, though, which she was actually happy about. Honestly, she felt rather attracted to him.

[sorry, my family was being annoying -.-]

Meara was breathing deeply still as her mind was spinning about the whole thing. All she hoped was that he was thinking the same thing - that they would be perfect together and he wanted to be with her as much as she wanted to be with him. She was still faintly aware of the eyes of the rest of the class, probably expecting a kiss or something, but she pushed the insecurities away about what they were thinking. "Yeah... Sounds good. Let's go see two movies then!" She beamed at him. It seemed like it was going to be a good day now that all of this had happened. She just hoped he felt the same...

"It will be, I promise!" He smiled to her, liking the way that she was watching him. He wanted to hold onto her... And he almost wished that he could leave this place with a mark... Her mark, and his mark on her. He knew the place was a little dingy and not as great as where he would like to spend his first date with such an amazing girl, but still he was happy as long as got to spend time with her. "I'm sorry it's not the best looking place... I just wanted to impress you with some good blood compared to the crap at the school." He confessed.

    (It's totally fine! ^-^)

Sam grinned and nodded to her words. "Great!" he said, his happiness that the matter was settled obvious in both his expression and tone of voice. "That means we'll get to spend even more time together than we had originally plan. I don't think anything can beat that." Sure, he was attempting to flirt with her; he just wasn't very good at it, because he wasn't sure how to flirt with her without making himself look like an idiot. It was probably a bit too late for that, though. Oh well.

Lisa smiled slightly and rolled her eyes. "I don't care how the place looks," she pointed out before shrugging slightly, "It could always be worse, after all." Naturally, she was a bit optimistic. But, when you were a vampire, you could either consider yourself damned or try to at least enjoy the time you get to live. Lisa obviously chose the latter, as it offered more of an opportunity to attempt to be happy.

Meara couldn't help but smile as Sam spoke. She wasn't sure, but was that a hint of flirting that she had caught in his voice?! She hoped it was, though there would no way to be sure. It seemed like he was also genuinely happy about this, but she didn't want to end up looking like an idiot if he didn't feel the same way... Still, she was practically wiggling and squirming with excitement to spend time with this guy that was her best friend - she could almost sing of happiness. "Sure!" She answered. "It's a date - err, not a date... Just a plan..."

Haydn smiled at her as she spoke. He knew so many vampires that would barely smile because of what they were, but liked the way that she walked with a bounce of optimism in his step. It was beautiful... He was growing more attracted to the girl by the minute... "Well, that's true, I just don't want you to think I'm stingy. Wouldn't want to upset you on our first date, now would I?" He smirked at her.

Sam arched an eyebrow at her words before chuckling softly and shrugging. "Nah, let's call it a date," he mused before offering a grin. That just made it feel all the more realistic to him that they could actually be more. More than just friends or just best friends. More than just 'pack' members. They could be an actual couple; it should already be so, he thought, since it was obvious to everybody else that they were perfect for such a thing. He didn't want to push her, though.

Lisa smiled slightly and rolled her eyes. "First date, huh?" she asked before arching an eyebrow. "I didn't know this was a date." She didn't mind it, though. If it was a date, at least she knew she'd enjoy herself all the more. "You should have told me. I could have dressed up and everything!"

Meara smiled at Sam and tilted her head, biting her lip slightly as she listened to his words. She wanted this to be something more than a date - god, everyone in the class was hoping that it was after what they had just witnessed - but she didn't let her hopes get up too high... She was afraid that he was just saying it to be nice, not that he actually wanted to go out on a date with her. "Fine, let's call it a date!" She said with a laugh, though she knew her voice betrayed her when trying to act cool.

"Sorry," Haydn said, "sometimes I like to be a little spontaneous." That went well... She was so cute and innocent but he had expected her to tell him she didn't want this to be a date - especially after her earlier resistance to his ruthless flirting. "Anyways, you look perfect! There's no girl I would want to spend my day with more." He kissed her softly on the cheek.

Sam grinned at her words and nodded slightly. "We can even go get dinner," he mused quietly, debating on how to plan out the entire thing. Needless to say, he was rather excited about it. The class soon ended and he looked at her, smiling again. "We can just skip the rest of the day, if you want? That way we can hang out before the movies and dinner and we won't feel awkward like most first dates do." He gave a shrug, wondering if she'd go along with it. He honestly just wanted to spend as much time as he could with her.

Lisa was surprised to feel his lips against her cheek, a light blush tainting her face. She blinked a few times before looking up at him and tilting her head to the side slightly. "I bet you say that to all the girls you bring here," she teased quietly, though she was more so trying to figure out if he actually had brought others there. She didn't want to get her hopes up and fall too hard for him, since she had already become attracted to him.

Meara listened to Sam's next suggestion and her mouth dropped open. She really liked all of these ideas if spending time with him, but she hasn't expected him to be nearly as happy about it too. "Wait, so this is like... A serious... Date?" She questioned him as the bell rang and he asked her to skip with him. She hoped this was what it really was, but she hadn't expected him to be so eager for it as well.

Haydn pulled away from her when she accused him of bringing multiple girls here before her. His eyebrows furrowed together as he tried to figure her out. What made her think that he didn't really just bring her here? "I... I've never brought any other girls here. This is a special place, babe..."

Sam blinked at her words before arching an eyebrow. "What? You thought I was joking about it?" he asked before nudging her gently and grinning. "As long as you want it to be, then it's a serious date." Though, he honestly hoped that she wanted it to be a serious date. He knew he'd be rather disappointed otherwise. Not that he'd say that aloud, as he didn't want to ruin his time with Meara by being grouchy or anything.

Lisa blinked a few times before smiling slightly and tilting her head to the side slightly. "I was just teasing," she muttered softly before running her hand through her hair. "But, I have to say that I am rather happy that you haven't brought any other girls here." It made her feel rather special; she hadn't ever felt special to anybody, so it was definitely a good feeling and she enjoyed it quite a bit.

Meara couldn't help but smile a little as Sam smiled at her. "Well, I was hoping you were being serious, but I wasn't sure!" She said as she nudged him back with a laugh. She wanted nothing than to know that he wanted to spend time with her as something more than just friends and she caught herself just before she entertwined their hands. "Well? Should we get out of here?"

Haydn smiled when she admitted that it made her happy to be different than the rest of the girls. Sure, Haydn had had many girls before her, but none like her... And none that he had ever felt deserved his mark like Lisa now did. "You're special... And I leave this place only for a special girl." He grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles.

Sam grinned before he nodded. "Alright," he mused quietly before he led the way out of the school, all the while fighting the urge to grab her hand. That was one of the most difficult things for him, in his opinion. "So, where do you want to waste our time until it's time to go to the movies?" He looked back at her before arching an eyebrow. He honestly didn't care what they did; he just wanted to be near her.

Lisa felt her cheeks darken once again. Haydn had made her blush more in one day than anybody else had throughout her life. She bit her lip before smiling slightly. "I'll have to keep that in mind, then, hmm?" she mused quietly before tilting her head to the side slightly. She honestly liked the attention he was giving her; it really did make her feel special.

Meara smiled as they walked out together, feeling right when she was walking beside him but yet still feeling naked without holding onto his hand. She ignored that though and just enjoyed his company. "I don't care," she said, smiling at him. "My place? Your place? It doesn't matter as long as we're together..." She felt her cheeks flush with redness as the words came out too fast.

"Yes, you shall." He whispered softly to her as he leaned his forehead against hers, wanting to kiss her badly. He knew that they could probably get blood by now, but he didn't care. All he wanted was to feel her warmth and see her smile - then everything was okay. He could sense her slight hesitation and added, "I'll never hurt you, Lisa. You are very special to me."

"Let's go to your place," Sam said before smiling and looking at her. "My place is pretty messy." He didn't want to drag her to his place, where it was difficult to even see the floor. That definitely wouldn't be the best place to spend his time with her, so going to her place just seemed like the better idea. Running a hand through his hair, he glanced around. "At least we'll get to relax for a while. Unless you have homework - which wouldn't be all that fun."

Lisa felt her cheeks darken once more before biting her lip slightly. Soon, she smiled slightly and nodded. "I'm glad," she muttered softly, finding it rather easy to believe his words. She didn't quite understand it, but she just found it so easy to trust him. Maybe it was just because of her attraction to him; or maybe it was simply because she was far more attracted to him than she was aware.

Meara giggled a little at the way that Sam seemed to be stammering through his sentences. She could tell she was getting to him and it was awfully cute... Sure, she was equally as nervous and anxious to be alone with him, but she apparently was better at hiding it than he was. She kissed him on the cheek before she thought it through and recoiled with a blush. "It's ok... Homework can always wait when I get to spend time with you!" She flirted.

Haydn pulled away as he felt the warmth of a blush rushing to her cheeks and smirked a little at the sight. She looked desperately innocent yet sexy... Prudent and daring all at the same time. It amazed Haydn, to say the least... He bit his lip carefully, but still said what he was thinking. "What... What would you do if I kissed you right now?"

Sam blinked before grinning after noticing that she had kissed his cheek. Looking at her, he tilted his head to the side slightly. "You know, if you're going to kiss my cheek, you might as well go all out and kiss my lips," he said quietly, soon stopping where he was and arching an eyebrow. "Then again, I could always be the one to initiate that, if you're okay with it?" He honestly did want to kiss her, but he didn't want to scare her off.

Lisa blinked a few times after hearing his words before looking up at him. Tilting her head to the side slightly, she offered a small smile. "I'd kiss you back, of course," she said quietly, not even bothering to hide the fact about that. What was the point in denying such a thing or hiding that she would return a kiss? As long as it was Haydn, she was fine with it.

Meara felt her knees going weak at his words and was tempted to kiss him. She would gladly wait for him to initiate a kiss before she kissed him, but she liked the thought of it being soon. To show her approval at the thought of kissing him, she kissed him again softly on the cheek, her lips staying there longer than the first time. She hoped they would kiss soon...

Haydn smiled when she agreed that she would kiss him back if he ever chose to kiss her. Taking a deep breath and breathing in her beauty, he leaned into her. When their forehead and noses collided he stopped for a moment and opened his eyes to make sure he wasn't getting any gestures to stop. His lips hovered above hers for a moment and then he pressed them ever so lightly against hers...

Sam gave a smile at her actions, figuring that she wanted the kiss just as much as he did. Grinning, he leaned down, pressing his forehead to hers. His eyes looked into hers for a few moments before he slowly leaned forward a bit more. Soon, their lips met and just the touch was enough for him to enjoy everything quite a bit. He held her closer to himself, making sure not to be forceful, as he didn't want her to regret the kiss at all.

Lisa blushed faintly at feeling Haydn's lips against hers. She gave a small smile as she relaxed in the kiss, returning it easily as her arms found their way around his neck. Though the kiss was simple, she was enjoying it quite a bit. So much so that she didn't want it to end any time soon. It just felt like everything seemed natural with him.
