There's No Place Like Home

  • Morgan blinked a few times when she heard him say that he was going to make sure she didn't regret staying. He wasn't... No, he couldn't mean it as flirtatiously! - he was just being nice. She breathed out slightly when he asked about going to his house and her heart beat vibrantly. "Sure, that's probably a good idea!" She said with a smile, trying to stop blushing.

Chris kept kneading his fingers into her back, working to de-stress her and release the tension from her back softly. "I insist!" He said with a demanding voice at her contemplations that he might be feeling forced into this. He wanted to show her how good he could be to her. "It's absolutely no big deal! Now pick something!"

  • Tyler smiled slightly and nodded before standing up and offering his hand out to help her out. "Let's go, then," he said, tilting his head to the side slightly. He didn't quite understand how he was so attracted to this one girl. Especially since she was from another world altogether. Silently, he hoped that she would end up staying; otherwise, he'd actually feel heartbroken if she left. Or, perhaps, he would simply find a way to leave with her. He wasn't sure.

Leigha laughed softly at how demanding he sounded, feeling the tension ease away. Nodding slightly, she said, "Okay, okay. Geez, are you a commander or something?" She was teasing, of course. Looking around a bit more, she bit her lip as she tried to decide on something. Why did everything there have to look so amazing? It was only making it harder for her to choose. Her eyes trailed back to the vase she had been looking out earlier and she pointed to it. "That?"

  • Morgan bit her lip slightly as her hand met with his. There was something about the contact that made her skin burn in pleasure... A redness came to her face, she was sure and she couldn't meet his eyes. Why he was so attractive to her, she wasn't sure... She was trying to gulp breaths to breath normally but that few seconds of holding his hand had completely disoriented her. "So umm..." She started, needing conversation to get her mind off of things. "So what do you do as a guard? Should I feel safe with you?!" She teased.

Chris threw his head back in a laugh when she seemed to tease him about how pushy he was being. He was just trying to show her how well he could treat her once she was his! "Yes, and you must do everything I say!" He teased back while his hands worked their way up her neck to massage her tenseness there too. "You sure that's what you want?" He asked, and smiled. He liked it too. The hourglass shape almost reminded him of Leigha, though he would never tell her that...

  • Tyler chuckled softly at hearing her words. "As a guard, I protect the world of Telous from the 'darkness' and from any other evil magic," he explained before he smiled and led the way to his home, running his free hand through his hair as he continued holding her hand in his, enjoying the contact more than he could explain. "So, I'm sure I can easily protect you. So, yes, you should feel safe with me."

Leigha bit down on her lower lip, feeling the tension leave her. She wasn't sure how Chris was so skilled with massaging her neck and back. She easily relaxed, though, and smiled, nodding slightly. "Yeah, I'm sure that's what I want," she mused quietly, looking over her shoulder at him and grinning a bit.

  • Morgan bit her lip until she was bleeding slightly. She couldn't get this burning to leave her hand and it was just killing her. What was wrong with her right now?! She didn't understand it and she scolded herself for feeling this way about a man that wasn't even of her own world! Now how wrong was that?! "Good, I'll sleep better thinking about that!" She said, partially sarcastic. She always did like a strong man...

Chris's fingers didn't stop relaxing her. She had seemed so tense since she had gotten here and it made him smile to watch her body just relax and calm with his fingers soaking up the tension. "Ok, good!" He said with a smile as she assured him that's what she wanted. "Anything else?" He asked. "I'll treat you to whatever you want!"

  • Tyler chuckled quietly to her words before he smiled and nodded. "Well, I would hope so," he said, stealing a glance to her. She was extremely gorgeous to him. He couldn't help but to notice that and it just made him want to keep her there with him. Something about her was just so intoxicating and addicting. He couldn't help but to want to know more about her. "What was your life on Earth like?"

Leigha smiled slightly and shook her head. "No, just the vase is fine," she assured quietly, biting down on her lower lip as she enjoyed the feeling of his hands massaging her. It just felt completely amazing and comforting. It was far too easy to relax, which she enjoyed quite a bit. She smiled a bit more and let out a sigh of relief.

  • Morgan smiled as she walked beside him and giggled when she glanced at him at the same moment he did her and their eyes met for a moment. She had to admit it made her blush, and she turned her eyes downward as soon as she realized their eyes had met. She shrugged at his question. "I don't know..." She started. "I had a good life, but I was an only child and I usually kept to myself. I guess it's different than life here!"

He let his hands slip down from down her shoulders and down her arms until they reached her hands. From there, he let them stay for a second before he dropped her hands. He grabbed the vase then and turned to smile at her. "Well, I'll go buy this and then we can go - i don't care... Home? To get food?" He asked her. He would do whatever she wanted...

  • Tyler arched an eyebrow to her words before smiling slightly. The fact that their eyes had met unexpectedly was making him enjoy this even more so than he thought he would - which was surprising, considering he had already expected himself to enjoy it a whole hell of a lot. "Oh?" he asked curiously, arching an eyebrow. "I think you'll enjoy your time here even more, then. It's pretty difficult to keep to yourself here. I'm sure you'll make plenty of friends In no time at all."

Leigha shuddered slightly at his touch. Though, when he dropped her hands, she was surprised to find that she already missed the contact. "Do you have take out food here?" she asked before looking over at him. "If so, we can just get that and eat it at your place." She wasn't quite willing to call Chris' place a home. It just made her feel awkward - especially since she hadn't even seen the place yet.

  • Morgan pretended to pout like a little kid slightly and stomped her foot. "I'm usually pretty antisocial!" She teased. She knew he wasn't going to believe it... Someone who was antisocial couldn't be flirting with him as much as she was right now, but she liked flirting with him. And more than that, she liked the thought of making new friends here - making a whole new life! And the more she thought about it, the more she was certain she wanted Tyler in that future...

Chris laughed slightly. Like she had to ask! Telous was quite known for their restaurants - and especially the ones that came and cooked everything for you! He nodded his head and smiled at her before taking her hand. He ran with her down the street, laughing all the way while they galloped like little kids. They saw Tyler and Morgan on their way, but Chris wouldn't stop to talk. He liked having her to himself. He took her to the same place that he suspected Tyler had taken Morgan and then they were on their way back to his home.

  • Tyler chuckled quietly before rolling his eyes slightly. "Sure you are," he teased. He noticed Chris and Leigha pass by but didn't pay much attention to it. After all, he preferred spending time with Morgan by himself. "That doesn't matter, though. You'll like having friends here, I'm sure."

Leigha smiled as she followed him, making sure to keep up with his pace. She laughed softly, surprised with how much she was enjoying these simple things. It was honestly rather amazing. She was even second guessing about even wanting to go home, despite knowing she should.

  • Morgan laughed slightly as she knew Tyler saw right through her hoax. She wanted to grab his hand and hold into him, but she felt that would just be weird... "Yeah, I'm sure I will!" She said, looking at him through her peripheral vision and knowing she already had a good friend. "I think I'll like it here - but still no promises that we're staying!" She tried to convince herself of it.

Chris smiled at her after he ordered their food and they sat there together, waiting for the food. "What are you thinking right now?" He asked as he noticed her faraway look. He was hoping that look was her thoughts about going home, but he wouldn't push it. In the end, it was her choice on what to do.

  • Tyler smiled slightly and shrugged. "I'm sure you'll like it so much that you'll always be promising to stay," he teased quietly, though he was honestly hoping for it. Chuckling a bit to himself, they soon got to his home and he opened the door, gesturing for her to go in first in that gentlemanly manner that hadn't died out in Telous.

Leigha blinked before looking at him. After a moment, she smiled slightly and nodded. "I was just wondering what exactly you're planning on doing to try to convince me to want to stay here," she mused quietly. Sure, it was a lie, but now that she mentioned it, she honestly couldn't do much but think about it.
    March 10th, 2013 at 04:35am
  • Morgan giggled and smiled at him when he held open the door for her and let her in. Chivalry was not yet dead! "Well that's definitely new!" She mused, taking a look around, though she knew he would ask what she meant by that. She felt increasingly comfortable beside him and could see herself here...

Chris shrugged lightly at Leigha's question. He didn't know exactly the best way to respond. How was he supposed to tell her that he was going to make her fall in love with him to make her stay?! He wasn't going to tell her, but that was his plan. "I'm going to show you all the reasons you should stay! You'll see!" He told her with a lie instead.

  • Tyler arched an eyebrow at her words as he stepped inside after her. "What's new?" he asked, letting his curiosity get the best of him. His home was pretty nicely kept. Though he was a guy, he preferred to keep things clean so that he could come home and just relax without being stressed. It was a common thing for guards.

Leigha smiled slightly and shrugged. "Okay, I guess," she murmured quietly before glancingg around a bit. She felt so comfortable and natural around Chris that it surprised her quite a bit. She hadn't ever felt so natural around anybody else besides her best friend. Even her parents made her feel awkward and out of place.
    March 12th, 2013 at 03:07am
  • Morgan shrugged and smiled at him. "I don't know... Just having a guy who is sweet enough and kind enough that he opens the door for a girl." She teased lightly, though her heart was beating heavily from it. "And this house! I've never seen a guy who has such a clean place! Usually everyone is a slob!" She smiled at him, touching the walls lightly with her fingertips as she walked. This place was amazing.

Chris rolled his eyes lovingly and smiled at her. "Don't you look so nervous!" He teased, pulling her into him slightly, though he didn't know if that gave away his position for loving her... "I'm sure you'll enjoy it here!" He encouraged as the food came out. "And starting...with the food!" He smiled and grabbed her hand to lead her back to his place so that they could eat.
    March 12th, 2013 at 08:07pm
  • Tyler chuckled softly at her words and smiled slightly to himself before he shrugged. "Most males here like to keep their places clean," he explained before looking over at her, "Especially guards, since it helps us to relax after a long day." Smiling still, he was glad that she seemed to like the place. Maybe that would help him get her to decide to stay.

Leigha blinked, her cheeks heating up when he had pulled her against him. She offered a small smile and rolled her eyes. The blush on her cheeks only darkened when he took her hand, but she followed. "Even guys here are obsessed with food," she teased quietly before laughing a bit, picking up her pace to walk next to him.

  • Morgan smiled as she seemed to dance around the room. She looked around all of the little corners and studied any small trinkets that he seemed to have, liking him even more for everything that she found out about him through his stuff. "It's so beautiful here!" She giggled. "I like it..."

Chris heard her words and threw his head back in a laugh. "No, what you should be saying is that even girls here are obsessed with food!" He teased her right back. He squeezed her hand as they walked and smiled at her. She was so damn beautiful...
    March 12th, 2013 at 10:53pm
  • Tyler smiled slightly to her words, his attention fully on her. "Yeah, it is beautiful," he murmured, though he was obviously speaking more about her than he was his home. Clearing his throat, he tried to play it off, not wanting her to think he was a creep or something. "I'm really glad you like it."

Leigha stuck her tongue out at him rather childishly. "Everybody's obsessed with food, I guess," she said before shrugging slightly. She glanced around as they walked, surprised at how comfortable it seemed here. It seemed that there wasn't even any pollution - much unlike Dallas.
    March 12th, 2013 at 10:57pm
  • Morgan looked at him at the peculiar way that he said it and her eyebrows furrowed together when she noticed he was looking directly at her. She wanted to know if they were talking about the same thing, but she was quite that they were with his next sentence. She nodded. "I think I really do like it here! I guess you're convincing me already..." She said, the slightest of a flirtatious tone coming in her voice.

Chris smiled lightly at her when they started walking back to his place which wasn't far from Tyler's house. "I guess so!" He said softly, smiling at her. "But that's ok... You'll understand once you try the food!" He winked at her teasingly and squeezed her hand. "Now pay close attention - these are all reasons you should stay!"
    March 15th, 2013 at 01:44pm
  • Tyler smiled slightly to her words, feeling rather accomplished already. "Well, I have to admit, I'm quite glad about that," he mused quietly before running a hand through his hair. Silently, he wondered if she would rather sleep in the guest room or his room - though, obviously he preferred she sleep in his room, he wasn't quite sure if he should actually ask her what she wanted on that matter. Still, there was a way to be discreet about it. "Do you want to crash in the guest room or what? I mean, that way, we can already have it decided where you can sleep."

Leigha blinked before smiling slightly and shrugging a bit. She couldn't help but to blush at noticing the wink and how he had squeezed her hand. "The food is a reason I should stay?" she asked in a teasing tone, "Is that the only reason you have, besides the antiques?" She was surprised that he was trying so hard to actually get her to stay. Why did he want her to stay so badly, anyways? She didn't quite understand it, since she was naturally oblivious to most things.
