    - How old are you? Male or female? I'm a 22 year old female
    - How many imaginary friends do you have? One
    - How old were you when you remember creating your imaginary friend(s)? I didn't create him, one day when I was about 7 he appeared out of the blue. It was quite weird because I was about to steal pokemon cards and he just appeared out of thin air and advised me against it.
    - How old is/are your imaginary friend(s)? I don't know but over the years he has looked the same, even though sometimes he has facial hair and sometimes he doesn't.
    - Are they male or female? Are they human, animal, etc? Male, human
    - Do you ever interact with them in public? If I'm alone walking or driving
    - Does your interaction with your imaginary friend(s) disrupt your life in any way? He used to but then I got used to being able to ignore him or pretend he isn't there.

Over the years as I have gotten older I've gotten used to not thinking of myself being mentally ill even though if i blurted out that he exists I would be crazy, but everyone is different in many ways.
I know this post was made about two years ago but I guess whoever comes across will still see people adding to it. I hope it help whoever reads it Mr. Green

I posted in the last thread, so this must be a new one. ^^ Most of my invisible friends are due to my autism. I'm somewhat below my normal age level compared to most of my peers.

    - How old are you? Male or female? 27/female
    - How many imaginary friends do you have? 2
    - How old were you when you remember creating your imaginary friend(s)? I was about eleven or twelve?
    - How old is/are your imaginary friend(s)? I can't even remember. I lost track of their ages, and I haven't figured it out. They are around my age, and they are also younger than me.
    - Are they male or female? Are they human, animal, etc? Well, they originated from trains I used to be obsessed with. One is male, and one is female. Both are now human for some reason. I have others, but I don't interact with them much. XD
    - Do you ever interact with them in public? Sometimes. It is often a massive habit for me to talk to them in public. I mouth words to them without realizing it. However, I don't talk to them aloud though.
    - Does your interaction with your imaginary friend(s) disrupt your life in any way? Not really. My parents think it's part of my autism. So, they just ignore it at times. ^^

Their names are Joey and Veronykah (she spells it that way). Joey has a lot of special needs, including almost severe Asperger Syndrome. He can get on my nerves. Kind of like a little brother. Veronykah can be somewhat of a diva at times, but she's a good friend.

I think my invisible friends appeared because of my lack of social interaction. I also think it's because I'm an only child; a miracle child (mom can't have more kids). So, I get very VERY lonely. :c I don't have any mental health issues. I know they aren't real. It's mostly just a huge attachment to them and the heaviness of my routine that makes it hard to get rid of them.

I'm a 14 year old male. I STILL have an imaginary friend, His name is saverous and he was created during my childhood since I was 5 to be exact. He was someone who helped me through life until I started High school. He became more demonic and he started to appear in class and he started to annoy me and I lose attention in class. Not only that but I can't drop my feelings of sadness because he always adds to the pain.

I think its a mental problem because he seems to be getting more real everyday. I heard about something called autism that I'm looking into. But this is my imaginary. He was a kind of furry when I was younger. He represented a wolf and he was adorable. He was my best friend. then high school messed it up for me. Sad

    - I am 20 years old. I'm female.
    - I have many imaginary friends. I like to pretend I'm in movies sometimes.
    - I was about 4 when I created them.
    - My imaginary friends are all ages. Male. Female. A lot of families.
    - I try not to interact with them in public because I feel crazy. But sometimes my mom catches me lip talking to them :( It's really disrupting every aspect of my life. Mostly my mental confidence.

How old are you? Male or female?
    I'm 20, going to be 21 in Feb. & I'm a female.

    - How many imaginary friends do you have?
Too many to name! Yes I still have them!

    - How old were you when you remember creating your imaginary friend(s)?
I was about.. 14 or 15? Started in my teens.

    - How old is/are your imaginary friend(s)?
Since I have so many I never aged them, I guess their age ranges are scattered all over the place.

    - Are they male or female? Are they human, animal, etc?
    Males and females.

    - Do you ever interact with them in public?
No.. Lol, I mean I'm crazy enough having them (but I'm proud to be crazy), but I haven't done that publicly. Maybe in my mind, but not out loud.

    - Does your interaction with your imaginary friend(s) disrupt your life in any way?
Absolutely not. In fact they have made my life so much better. I'm so glad I have imaginary friends as weird as it may sound to some people, as much shit as I deal with on a daily basis, having people belittle me on how I live, and what not, my imagination makes me forget about this cruel reality. Believe me, I know fantasy from reality, but my fantasies have really helped. At least my imaginary friends motivate me, hah!

i have another 1. his name is pique. pique as i summoned him in a fit of it & am brought to mine when i think of
him. he is now a character in a short fantasy/horror novel i've written.

pique is a shapeshifting dragon (who only shifted once) w/ a damaged wing & hind leg. he was & is inked-up to hell, he's very moody due to an accident. when not being moody he has a sick SoH, is a horror fanatic & shares my joss whedon obsession, & love of rock music. He has no filter on what he says/thinks

he is also real. he is literally real. i've nearly called him the wrong name numerous times.......

    1. I'm 14 years old and a female
    2. I have one major one, one recurring one but I have SO MANY that I speak to when I need them.
    3. It has been recent, since the end of 2016 because I've been having insomnia, crying more often and having monophobia (the fear of being alone, not generally physically alone but unwanted and unloved).
    4. My imaginary friend is 24 years old
    5. He is male and is a human
    6. I speak to him more so in my head than out loud because I'm scared people will think I'm crazy or something. But sometimes at school, walking to my next class by myself (but still people around) I might say a few words aloud.
    7. Yes and no. It worries me because sometimes I would want to talk to my imaginary friends than actually real people, I'm an extrovert but can tell every day I'm coming an introvert.

My imaginary friends are actors and actresses. My main imaginary friend who is helping me to word this right now is Casey Cott. He is off a tv show known as Riverdale. I see him as he's character Kevin (I call him Kevin commonly but Casey can be used). A recurring imaginary friend for me is Marie Avgeropoulos, but I portray her as her character Octavia from the show The100. She is here to make sure I'm safe, make sure no one is going to hurt me or break into the house, we call it 'Perimeter check'. But she is also there to keep me strong. All The100 cast is there for me to do that, our quote is "Never let your emotions overpower your intelligence". This is really helpful because if I'm crying over something I can stop immediately after thinking about that quote and let my brain instead of my heart work things out.

I also have an alter ego that comes out when needing to give a speech, through the help of my imaginary friends. I call my alter ego Mercy (short for Mercades) and all my imaginary friends are aware of her. Mercy is kind of a b*tch and is not afraid to speak her mind, literally, she just says what she is thinking. She only cares about her friend Chloe (she looks like Millie Bobby Brown and is also one of my imaginary friends) and everyone else Mercy sees as "disposable". When I was thinking about her and what her life was like I imagined her giving a slideshow to the entire school about a girl cheating on her boyfriend just to get back at her. Ever since then she "exposes" people. Oh, and mercy has two braids in her hair, so I never wear braids in case she might show.

I'm not good at giving speeches, I mumble words, speak too fast, get shaky hands and legs and find it difficult to breathe. But Kevin (Casey), Octavia and Chloe come to my rescue by saying "Why are you nervous, you're Mercy?, When do you ever let anyone see Mercy weak?" And all that. I then give an amazing speech and my teachers are always proud of me.

Today I was crying because I had a fight with my sister and I ran upstairs to be alone and cried into my hair whilst leaning on a desk then I could feel someone place their hand on my shoulder to comfort me. I realise it's not firm but it was there and when I look up all of my imaginary friends were surrounding my table and said: "we believe you, we're on your side." I smiled and stopped crying straight away.

They are really helpful and I can already see they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
