    @billinski [I suck, don't mind me.]

"It was raining this morning, ya twat. I'd rather sit on hot leather than wet leather." She said, turning up the AC as high as it went. She zoomed to their flat, trying to lecture Addy on the way. "Dan does not control my life and he's never been a thought in any other decision. But it's his best friend! If he went after one of my friends i'd be mad!" she said, trying to reason with her conscience that kept telling her to ask him out. She ran to the door and unlocked it, going to her room and changing out of her work outfit to something more fun. She grabbed a floral crop top and a pair of sailor high waisted shorts from her closet before shimmying into them and then sitting in front of her closet fixing up her make-up and hair. "I could threaten Joshua. That's easy, and it's always fun to see him go from sassy to scared." She said, laughing while curling strands of her hair.
"I'm always right, that's why you guys look up to me!" he said with a wink, leaning over to try and pinch Max's cheeks, just to piss him off. He settled back in his seat before letting a lazy shrug roll from his shoulders. "It's easy to piss her off, making it fun. Because then she gets super serious and makes a twat out of herself." he said laughing as he remembered the last time everyone went out, when he challenged Vada to something, then she lost and gave him an attitude, then walked into someone when she was too busy bitching him out. Josh smirked looking at his watch, praying that Vada was actually going to show up on time. "Well, guess you better grow the balls in 30 minutes." he said cockily.

"I didn't say to leave it wide open. All I said was that you should have left it cracked open a smidge so that the hot air could circulate out. Water wouldn't have gotten in that way. Trust me, I've done it before." Addy said. London's weather was just so unpredictable sometimes. One minute it could be bright blue skies and sunshine and the next it could be dark clouds and torrential downpours. She'd grown used to it though, and now she sort of just knew to be prepared for anything. She knew the ins and outs and rights and wrongs. It had all taken her a while to figure out, but like anything else, exposure sort of helps one adjust. "Yeah, because him claiming that you can't date any of the guys is totally not him controlling your life." She mumbled sarcastically, giving her eyes a slight roll. She followed her friend into their flat and headed down the hall to her room, deciding to change out of her work attire and into something more comfortable. Once she had done so, she headed down the hall to Vada's room, leaning against the doorframe while she waited for her friend. "He's bloody terrified of you." She said, letting out a soft laugh.
Max let out a low chuckle, shaking his head. "I wouldn't necessarily say that, but whatever you want to think, mate." He said, giving his shoulders a slight shrug before swatting his friend's hand away from his face. Josh could be such a tosser sometimes. "She does make a twat out of herself sometimes, though I don't really understand why you enjoy pissing her off so much when she's so fucking terrifying when she's pissed." There were some things about the singer that he supposed he would never fully understand. He had to admit that he did find it rather amusing when Vada got pissed off about something or at someone. He might even say that she was kind of cute when she was angry. Though he could never really say that out loud. "If that means you're actually going to ask Addy out for drinks tonight, I'll believe it when I see it."

"Well next hot day, you can drive." she fought back, knowing that Addy was right. But would she admit it? Hell no. She was a Flint, and they were known for being stubborn as fuck. And boy, did Vada play that part well. "Shush," she said, looking up at her friend in the doorway. "What would you do if you were me? Honestly. And don't say date him because you're friends with him. I want a real friend answer, bitch." she said, running her hands through her curly hair to make it less neat and more messy. She knew she'd say date him. But with his arrival coming closer and closer, the butterflies grew more knowing she'd see her favorite sight, and to take in his scent of cologne and cigarette, which he wore unbelievably well, unlike anyone else. Okay, maybe Addy was right about this too, she was head over heels for the boy, but the situation couldn't be anymore shittier. "It's perfection, I'll teach you my ways once you guys are together and need to get something from him." she winked, obviously joking before grabbing the boy's keys to the van, which they had left at their flat. "Come on, we got to pick-up the goons." she said, taking a deep breath.
"She's like my little sister, and it's what older brothers do. Well, other than Dan, but that's why i'm her best friend, to make up for what Dan lacks." he said, laughing, before shutting his laptop an putting it in his carry on case, knowing they'd be landing shortly. "And as he almost-older-brother, I give you rights to her. Bam, Dan's opinion no longer matters." he said making a hand gesture like he was a magician. All of a sudden, he felt the seat in front of him move, and Dan's face popped out. "Dan's opinion on what doesn't matter, mate?" he asked, a little on edge like that woke him up from sleeping. "Your opinion on the shitty pub's you took us to in the states." Josh said almost as if that's really what they were talking about. "I willask her out, just you wait Heyler." He said with a wink.

"Fine." Addy shot back, a faint smirk tugging at the corners of her lips. She knew that Vada knew that she was right. She was just too damn stubborn to actually admit it, but Addy wasn't someone who needed to hear someone verbally admit to something, or admit defeat in this case, to feel the satisfaction. "I'd do whatever I wanted to do. Forget about this stupid rule your brother has for a second and then tell me again that you wouldn't tell Max how you feel. You're letting Dan hold you back, V. You deserve to be happy, and if that means being with Max, I say go for it. Your brother will come around eventually." She'd been trying to convince her friend to tell Max how she felt for ages now. She just wanted her to come out with it already so that she could be happy. "You're absolutely impossible sometimes." She mumbled, giving her eyes a slight roll. She knew that her friend was only joking, however, she had no intention of dating Josh, or really anyone for that matter, at the moment. She followed her friend back out of their flat and over to the van.
"I'm pretty sure that being her almost-older-brother doesn't mean shit, mate." Max said, sighing softly. He knew that he shouldn't be so worried about what might happen if he did tell Vada how he felt, because they were all nothing more than what-ifs and he really shouldn't let those stop him, but he couldn't quite help it. Before he could say much of anything else on the matter, Dan joined in on the conversation. He shot Josh a sideways glance, kind of relieved that the singer was so good at thinking quickly on his feet. "Your judgement fucking sucks, man." He said, letting out a soft chuckle, as he played along with what Josh had said. "You do realize that you've said that numerous times, and you haven't once followed through, right?"

She stuck her tongue out to finalize the driving conversation, almost like a little kid. She started up the van while looking at her friend. "But I don't want to be the Yoko Ono, you feel me? I don't want to break up the group." she said, sighing as she backed out of the drive way and started driving to Heathrow. "Maybe you're right. Plus, I mean, if I was to date one of his friends, at least it's Max. He couldn't hurt a fly. Max is perfect "bring home to mom" material." she said, musing on how excited her mom would be if she chose Max, seeing as her mother loved him already. She also knew her dad would of approved, and that made the decision more in Max's favor. "I'm just stating the truth. Oh my God! If you date Josh and I date Max we can double date!" she squealed like a little girl. "And our babies could be best friends, and star bands and it would be a perfect circle!" She continued musing.
Before Josh could say anymore on the subject, they were instructed that they'd be landing in about twenty minutes and to put on seat belts as they get ready to descend. Josh clicked on his seat belt before looking over at Max, whispering so that the wide awake Dan, who was now in a conversation with Chris and Matt about some of the restaurants they went to. "Look man, Vada is really, really cute and she is always happy to see you. It's worth a shot. Don't be worried about Dan. He'd be happy that it's not me going after her." he whispered before bringing his hand down on his shoulder. "Do what makes you happy, mate, screw everyone else." he said, before finally answering his question. "Yeah, i do know of my track record with her, don't rub it in." he said, laughing softly.

"Do you really think that the band would break up if you ended up dating Max?" Addy asked. She was sure that Dan would be somewhat pissed off at first, but would things really end up being that tense? She couldn't see that happening. "Exactly! Max is a good guy. Dan really doesn't have anything to worry about, and I'm sure that your mum would be ecstatic if she found out you two were dating." She said, letting out a soft laugh. She was glad that she'd at least somewhat gotten her friend to change her outlook on things. However, it wasn't long after that that she was bringing up Josh again, causing the brunette to let out a low groan. "No one said anything about me and Josh dating, V. It's not going to happen. And that means there won't be any marriage or babies in my future either." She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose between her thumb and index finger, her cerulean eyes slipping shut for a moment. She loved Vada dearly, but she just couldn't seem to get the hint to drop the whole thing with Josh. Not that there was a thing between her and Josh. There was nothing going on. There had never been anything going on, and there never would be anything going on.
Max put his seatbelt back on when the announcement came on that they'd be landing soon. "I'll think about it." He said after a few moments of silence. He just didn't really know if he wanted to risk fucking things up with Vada. He didn't know if she felt the same way, and he couldn't really help worrying that she didn't. If he told her how he felt, and she didn't feel the same way, well, he would be extremely gutted to say the least. And that was putting it lightly. He knew that Josh was probably right. He should just do what would make him happy, and nothing would make him happier than telling Vada how he felt and having her feel the same way, so he would think about it. It was a step up from all out refusing to do so, right? "I'm merely stating a fact, mate." He said, letting out a low chuckle.

"What if we don't work out? People usually take sides in a break-up!" she tried reasoning but heard how foolish she sounded. They were all friends, they all cared for each other and she knew a break-up wouldn't stop the boys from being friends. She was half listening to Addy's words, and focusing on how she just pretty much made the decision to tell Max, even if he wanted nothing to do with her, she'd lay her feelings out for him. She had never had to tell a guy she liked them, they usually came to her, but for some reason, Max didn't. She focused back on her friend as she pulled into the parking lot of the airport and paid for it to park so they could go inside and wait for the boys. "Fine. I'll drop Josh. I'm just saying when you get off your whole "every guy is a douchebag, i'm staying single" thinking, he's head over heels for you. You can tell by the way he looks at you." she said, stepping out of the fan an instantly getting butterflies when she thought about how she was going to be face to face with Max very soon.
"Yeah, well your facts will be wrong soon." he said, laughing along side his friend before making sure everything he brought was in the carry on. He had a bad habit of leaving everything everywhere and it's what makes him go and buy a new charger for his phone after every tour, or replacing earphones, or hell, one time he even left his carry on in the overhead container. He gets really excited when he came home, and tended to space a lot of things out. He started bullshitting with Chewy and Matt before he felt the wheels of the plane touch the ground, and after a few minutes, he heard the attendant say they could unbuckle and go to the exit. "Remember what I said, mate." Josh winked towards Max, before getting up and playfully shoving Chris, acting like a child waiting for the line to the exit to move.

Addy looked at her friend incredulously. "I think you're overthinking everything way too much, love." She told her friend honestly. "You haven't even told Max how you feel yet and you're already talking about breaking up with him. Slow down." She really did think that Vada was overthinking all of this way too much. "Just relax. I seriously don't think you really have to worry about any of that happening. You're thinking of all the extremes, which I doubt will happen." She rolled her eyes in response to her friend's later words. "Yeah, okay." She mumbled sarcastically. Once they'd found a parking spot, she climbed out of the van, waiting for Vada before she walked across the crosswalk towards the terminal that the flight the guys were on would be coming in at.
"Whatever you say, man. Whatever you say." Max said, chuckling softly. He wouldn't believe a word that Josh said until he actually acted on his words and asked Addy out. From what Vada told him, she wasn't really looking for a relationship right now, but who knew what would happen if Josh did actually end up asking her out for a pint. Once the attendant had given the okay to exit the plane, he unbuckled his seatbelt, and stood, following Josh into the aisle, and waiting while the people ahead of them exited the plane. He couldn't help being a bit nervous simply because he'd be seeing Vada again. He wasn't sure if he'd end up telling her how he felt today or not, he was still thinking about it, but just the thought of doing so put his stomach in knots.

"When don't I over think, let's be completely honest right now." Vada said, laughing as they crossed the airport to the area where people usually greeted their loved ones. She was excited when she started seeing people come from the JFK terminal and finally saw the five boys. She ran from Addy and jumped on the first one she saw, which happened to be Max. She hugged him tightly before jumping down, hugging the rest of the boys and laughing with excitement. "Oh my God don't leave me for that long again, you goons!" she yelled, walking with the boys towards the baggage claim, as Dan grabbed one of the trollies to load things on and Vad found herself on top of that pretending like she was surfing.
"I bet you any money that Vada is going to make a bloody twat out of herself as she comes to see us." Josh said, laughing like an idiot with Dan. Everyone knew how excited she got when she saw the boys. They always tried convincing her to just go do merch with them or something, so she didn't have to miss them, but she wouldn't hear it, instead she'd make a twat out of herself. Which she did when she jumped on Max, making all the guy's except Dan laugh. Dan was usually the one who got a jump surprise hug. Josh quickly hugged the tiny brunette before walking over to Addy. His stomach started flipping in knots, and he had no idea what to say. Which, if anyone knew him, they knew he always had something to say. He draped an arm over her shoulders and gave her a light squeeze. "Hey pipsqueek, you took care of my girl while we were gone, yeah?" he said, laughing as he saw Dan stop short, making Vada fall on her face.

"That's true..." Addy said, letting out a soft laugh as she walked inside with her friend. She was waiting for Vada to run off once they were inside, and it wasn't long after she'd spotted the five boys that her friend ran off, pretty much tackling Max. She simply shook her head, laughing over how ridiculous her friend was. She'd sort of gotten used to Vada acting like this, however, she sometimes wondered why she didn't just take the guys up on their offer for her to run merch for them. She smiled slightly when Josh walked over to her, wrapped an arm around her shoulders and squeezed her lightly. "Hey yourself, and as much as anyone can take care of Vada. I think you know as much as I do how difficult she can be at times." She laughed softly.
Max chuckled softly in response to Josh's words. "She always makes a twat of herself when she comes to see us, mate." He said. He really wished that Vada would just agree to run merch for them. He didn't know why she always shut down the offer whenever one of them suggested it, but he wished that she wouldn't. He missed her a hell of a lot when he was gone, and he assumed that she missed him too. Once they walked through the gate into the airport, he was kind of taken aback when said brunette rushed over and jumped onto him instead of Dan like she normally did. He chuckled, hugging her back tightly. "You could always come with us next time, V." He said, watching as she went around and hugged the rest of the guys.

Josh chuckled as Addy said Vada was difficult. "I reckon it's a Flint curse. Daniel is pretty difficult lad himself. Try sharing a bus with him for three months in a country he doesn't know. Him and Matt have whining competitions." He said, laughing as he dropped his hand around her shoulders. He basically lived at the Flint house when they were younger and they were coming back from tours, and Mrs. Flint had to be the easiest going woman in the world, how she had the two most difficult children in the world was beyond him. "But luckily she'll be distracted by Max now, so maybe she'll cam down a bit, 'ey?" he said, smirking as he looked behind him and saw the friends going back and fourth with each other. "How about you, you distracted by anyone these days?" He asked, the nerves in his voice apparent as he tried to swallow a lump in his throat.
The reason she never did merch cause she didn't want to intrude on Dan's thing. She was always Dan's little sister, and over at Rocksound she was just Vada, and she loved that more than anything. She didn't want the band to feel obligated into babysitting her when they could be out causing chaos over in America. She took in Max's cologne and cigarette smell and was in heaven before she hugged everyone and pretended to give them all the same treatment. "But if I went on tour with you who would you tell awesome stories to when you get back?" She asked, tilting her head and squinting towards Max before playing with his facial hair. "I miss your babyface, but i got to say the beard isn't half bad." she said, grinning as they found the baggage carousel.

[Sorry for the delay in posting, love.]

"I think I'll pass." Addy said, letting out a quiet laugh. She couldn't agree with him more. Both Vada and Dan were extremely difficult and stubborn sometimes. It had to have something to do with the family genes or something, however, it was a bit of a plot-twist seeing as Mrs.Flint was nothing like that at all. A bit peculiar really. "That's very wishful thinking right there. I dunno if even Max could distract her long enough for her not to be overly difficult and stubborn." She noticed a change in expression and demeanor in the singer not long after that. And it wasn't until he actually spoke that she realized the change had been caused by nerves. "Nope. I haven't been for quite some time actually." She told him honestly, giving her shoulders a slight shrug. She didn't know why he'd been so nervous to ask her that, and for a moment she thought back to Vada's claims of Josh fancying her, however, she pushed said thoughts away as soon as they came.
Max was pretty sure he knew why Vada never took the opportunity to run merch for them. It was fairly obvious that she liked working at Rocksound, and that she liked being her own person. Sure, people did associate her with Dan and the band sometimes, but he knew that that didn't always happen, and seeing as he was pretty confident in the fact that he knew her fairly well, it was clear that Vada enjoyed that very much. "Fair enough." He said, chuckling slightly. "You'd be a part of those awesome stories if you came on tour though." He added as an afterthought. And I wouldn't have to worry about missing you as much as I always do. "Oh, uh, thanks, I guess."

    [work sucks, im sorry love!]

"I dunno about that." He said, looking back at the pair, how they were laughing and he could hear Max's plea for her to finally go on tour with them. "She wouldn't of heard hat from anyone, and look, you can see her actually consider it because she likes him. Do you know how many times I tried getting her to go to America with us?! She never listened to anybody." He said, chuckling at how oblivious the two were being. Well, to be granted, they were more oblivious to him because he knew how the both of them felt. Josh was relieved when she said she hadn't been distracted by anyone for quite sometime. He took a deep breath in before turning and smiling at her. "Well then, you should fixed that. Maybe a certain British rocker could change ya mind, yeah?" he said, hoping she'd give him permission to continue to flirt with her without it being awkward.
"Maybe next tour." She said, with a grin, actually meaning every word she said. She always said it to Josh or Chew, but maybe it was time to broaden her horizons, go to new places. She'd never been anywhere further than England. She always wanted to travel, but could never commit to it. She smiled, removing her hands from his beard, looking down at the floor before back up to him. "So you going back to your flat tonight? Or you got a sexy date planned?" she asked, giggling and winking, hoping he would pick the boring of the two so she wouldn't be jealous.

[You're fine, love! Sorry for taking so long...I was super busy this week and then this weekend I went to NYC to see The Summer Set and that combined with work and course work has made me extremely busy. Facepalm]

Addy stole a glance over to the pair, listening for a moment as Max asked Vada to go on tour with them. She was kind of surprised when she heard Vada agree to consider it, although she wasn't surprised enough seeing as she knew that Vada would do just about anything if Max asked her to. "Maybe Max is just more likable." She said, a teasing tone to her voice. She knew that if Vada weren't so distracted talking with Max, and she overheard her and Josh talking, she probably wouldn't hear the end of it. The youngest Flint sibling would probably come up with some crazy theory about her and the singer being perfect for each other simply because they were getting on so well. She looked back over to said singer, still trying to figure out why he seemed so nervous. That just wasn't something that one associated with Josh Franceschi. "You can set me up with Alex Turner?" She was only teasing still. It wasn't exactly a secret that she thought the frontman of Arctic Monkeys was rather fit, however, she knew that Josh was referring to himself.
"I'm going to hold you to that. I hope you realize that." Max said, chuckling softly. He really hoped that she would actually consider coming on tour with them next time. Of course, he knew that she almost always said the same exact thing to Josh and Chew, but it was still good to think positive, right? Plus, maybe if he was persistent enough, she would actually agree to it. He hoped that she would. He hated not seeing her for so long. It fucking sucked. "Probably the former of the two." He told her, shrugging his shoulders slightly. The only girl he wanted to take out was standing right in front of him, but he obviously wasn't going to say that.

Josh acted surprised as he listened to Addy, his mouth making an "o" shape like he was deeply offended. "Addy, are you saying I'm not likable?!" he asked, shoving her playfully as they waited for luggage. He was lucky everyone was distracted so that he could talk to Addy alone, he was going to prove to Max that he would not chicken out of this. He didn't understand why he was so bloody afraid of her. It wasn't like she was going to bite or be rude to him, but when he tried talking to her he felt like jello. He rolled his eyes as his luggage came and he picked it up, putting it on it's side. "I couldn't even get Alex Turner distracted." he winked playfully nodding his head to the door, he was sick of being indoors already. "I was thinkin' maybe I could distract you? Maybe for the evening." He asked, gaining his confidence back even if he felt he'd turn ill any minute.
When she promised Max, it was not like what she promised Josh or Chew. She did it to shut their nagging up. She promised Max cause she'd look into it. "I realized it, Mister Heyler. I hope you realize what you'd get yourself into if I was to tag along with you lads." she said smiling. She let out a sigh of relief when he said he wasn't going out with anyone. It wasn't like she didn't want him happy, but she would be jealous as hell if he said he was going to take out another girl. "Well that's no fun!" she said, looking up to see Josh and Addy talking. She laughed softly, shaking her head. "Looks like I'll have the flat to myself." She said nodding over to the pair of friends, "If i think I know whats going on over there, I mean." she said, jamming her hands into her pockets, hoping Max would ask to hangout or something.

Addy let out a soft laugh, shoving him back lightly. "That's exactly what I'm saying, Joshua." She said, a cheeky grin lighting up her features perfectly. Although she would never openly admit it to Vada, she always had a right laugh when she was around Josh. He seemed like a decent bloke, she just wasn't looking for a relationship. But, she felt bad turning him down. He'd never actually like asked her out or anything, but Vada always went on about how he fancied her and stuff. She knew that she wasn't going to hear the end of it if she agreed to this, but she should at least give him a chance, right? "Are you asking me out?" Her lips quirked up in a slight smirk. She never really saw Josh get nervous, so this was something she wanted to have a bit of fun with.
"I'm well aware Ms.Flint." Max grinned. He knew that it would be absolute mayhem if Vada joined them on tour. Things were usually rather crazy and eventful without her there, so he could only imagine what it would be like if she was there. He followed her gaze over to Josh and Addy, surprised to see that Josh was talking to her. Maybe he would actually follow through and ask her out for drinks this time around. "At least someone's getting some tonight." He chuckled. "I told him to ask her out for drinks tonight. Didn't actually expect him to do it though."

Josh laughed like a child on a playground. It was so genuine and real, not some of the bullshit he had to fake while on shoots and stuff. That's why he was attracted to Addy. Not only was she a fit bird, but she was so genuine. He wasn't the type of guy to set out for relationships, with his career it was difficult, especially since they had to keep relevant in other countries and not just one, but there was no harm in asking the girl out. He smirked, feeling at his stubble on his chin before grinning back at her. "And what if I am? I heard Turner's a cheap date anyway." he winked, referring back to the other singer. He was glad to finally shake the nerves out of him.
Vada was grinning like an idiot watching Josh and Addy talk. She was finally glad one of them had the balls to talk to the other one. They both weren't looking for a relationship, but hell, anyone could see how they should of ended up together. "Yeah, well, if i hear Joshua moan i will be looking for a new flat." she said, giggling softly. "Well, glad someone finally is asking someone on a date in this band." She said, bumping his arm softly and winked. "I thought you all were protesting birds or somethin'."
