"Okay." She nodded back before patting the spot on the couch next to her. Lilly drew her knees up to her chest with a sigh.

"Yeah, sure." He nodded standing up to go downstairs. "I'll make pancakes for us." He grinned at her.

Leaning against him, Lilly closed her eyes to relax for a moment, taking everything in. She really just moved in with him. It was crazy thinking about it. She reached up to place a light kiss against his cheek.

Mariah walked downstairs with him and helped him get the stuff out. She watched him then leaned against the counter, "I could get use to this." She said laughing.

Marcus smiled when he heard the doorbell and got up. He got the food then sat at the table with her. He handed her the food, "You want something to drink?" He asked as he stood up and went to the fridge.

Jake flipped the pancake in the air while glancing over at her. "I wouldn't. We're going to take turns cooking." He grinned over at her.

"Just water. Thanks." She replied when he got up to get the doorbell. She could smell the Chinese coming from the hallway and took it from him.

Mariah pouted, "But your so good at it." She said as she watche him. She got the syrup out then sat at the table.

Jake looked over at her all ready at the table to eat breakfast. "I think you just don't want to cook." He responded back in a teasing tone while pouring the batter for the next pancake.

Lilly laughed with a smile on her face then took a bite of her meal. "Yep. That I'd partially the reason why I asked for it, but I love it, too."

Mariah smiled, "That may be the case but you do look pretty sexy when you cook." She said. She watched as he cooked then ran her fingers through her hair.

Marcus looked at her and set his fork down. He took her hands, "Lilly I just want to say that I really am glad you came with me." He said as he laced his fingers with hers. "I know it was rough to decide this but I promise I will take care of you. Anything you want or need just tell me okay? I will make sure you are taken care of." He said as he kissed her softly. "I love you Lilly." He said softly. He smiled at her, glad that he had her.

Knowing that they were alone in the household, he threw a devilish grin over his shoulder to her,"Be careful what you say, Mariah, otherwise I'm going to take you right on this counter." Finishing up with the second pancake, he continued to use the rest of the batter.

Turning in her seat to face him, Lilly looked up into his eyes to see the sincerity them. "Thanks for understanding. I might take a while to adjust, so I'm just warning you. This really wasn't an easy decision for me to leave my family, but I think I made a good one." She kissed him back, tasting the lingering Chinese food on his lips. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she felt her heart flutter at his statement. "I-I love you, too, Marcus." Lilly admitted with a small blush on her face.

Mariah smiled as he spoke, "That does seem like a lot of fun." She said a she took a bite of her pancake. She looked at him, seeing the look of lust in his eyes.

Marcus smiled, "I'm glad you feel the same way." He said. He kissed her cheek then went back to eat his food. He never felt so connected to anyone except his past wife.

Finishing up with the pancakes, he put all the dishes into the sink to wash later. He chuckled with the shake of the head before moving over to her. Picking her up from the table, he moved her to rest on top of the counter. "You asked for it."

Lilly pulled away to continued eating her food still feeling the light flutter in her stomach. It felt odd finally loving someone, like she was on a high.

Mariah giggled as he picked her up then looked at him. She kissed him softly, "I'm very lucky to have someone that excepts challenges." She sai as she kissed him.

"Getting a bit frisky." He commented with a grin as she started to unbutton his pants. Reaching up, he pulled off her shirt and started to unbutton her pants.

Mariah nodded, "I want you now." She said as she helped him out of his jeans then took her off. She wrapped her arms loosely around his neck as she kissed him then let her hands move down his back.

Marcus smiled, "Alright let's go." He said. He took her hand then walked upstairs with her. "I'm gonna take a shower you can pick out a movie they are one the shelf." He said. Marcus walked into the bathroom and took a shower he walked out after pulling on a pair of boxers then laid down on the bed with her. "What we watching?" He asked.
