I'd like to join this! I have two stories in mind for this, one I've been trying to get down for about three years and another for about six months.
I think this is definitely going to help with the push to get them down (finally :P )

Ok, is it ok if I go after a very....idk, dark/emotionally twisted fanfic of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for this? Because I've wanted to, for about a year or so now, but I've never sat down to actually write it out of fear of the fandom [which might not really exist anymore] to get angry over how I depict the characters and the pairing would be strange....and does it matter what I write about? Am I supposed to talk about this with you?

If the idea was originally for this contest I'm fine with you entering it in other ones! So long as it fits in with the guidelines I don't see a problem with that!

I started a story like a year ago and then I put it down cause I thought it wasn't really that good.

I'm willing to give this a shot.

I did enter but I changed my mind when I realized school and family would be in the way and prevent me from finishing in time. So here's my weird edited comment. xP

I'll probably try again when I have more time.
