One More Time... One Last Time

"Ah, what the hell, man?" Collin exclaimed as he received the blow to the nose, stumbling back slightly. Shrouded in sudden anger, he fought back by charging after Teague and knocking him to the ground. Collin balled his hand into a fist to return what Teague had given him. It was not long before the two boys were being pulled apart from each other in the crowd. "Break it up!" Collin could hear in the background as he struggled to get his hands on the other boy.

Teague was caught off guard when Collin knocked him to the ground. His nose started bleeding after Collin returned the punch. He struggled to hit Collin again when someone pulled him away from the other. "Let go of me," he yelled, fighting hard to get back. He had never been so angry in his life, but he honestly wanted to kill Collin for hurting Madden.

With much difficulty, they had managed to separate the two into rooms at opposite ends of the house. After locking him in the room, Collin managed to calm himself down, reaching out to claim a tissue for his bleeding nose. Damn, that guy had gotten him pretty well. On the other hand, he did, too. Luckily, the alcohol was easing the pain of his potentially broken nose. All he could feel was the pounding of his brain begging him for sleep. Leaning back onto the couch, he quickly drifted off for the night.

When Madden woke up the next morning, he nearly panicked. For a moment, he thought he had been raped, for real this time. But no, all his clothes were still on. He was just in a strange bed. Teague had gone to find him, after breaking out of the room he had been locked in.

Waking up the following morning, Collin groggily sat up to take in his surroundings. This was starting to become too familiar with him. The familiar pounding of the head, the smell of booze coming off of his breath, and not waking up in his own home. Running a hand through his bed hair, Collin looked around and started to wonder where Madden had taken off. He felt as though there was something that missing. An important something, but he could not put his finger on it.

Madden slipped out of Teague's house, hoping to go unnoticed. Unfortunately, if Madden had known any better, he would've stayed put. Teague had been the one to spike Madden's drink, the one to break up Madden and Collin. Madden made his way back to the park, staring at ducks in the water.

Collin shrugged off the horrid feeling in the back of his mind, moving outside of the bedroom. It seemed that someone had unlocked it in the middle of the night. The place was completely in shambles and there were empty red cups scattered about. Classic party. Moving carefully, his eyes readjusted to the sunlight that was coming through the window where a set of curtains had been torn off. "Madden?" He called out, wondering if he would be among the passed out bodies on the ground.

Madden, obviously, was no where to be found. He finally trudged home, ignoring his parents, and went upstairs to his room. He locked the door behind him and fell against his bed, sobbing quietly. He loved Collin, he really did, but he was starting to believe what people said - that he wasn't important to Collin anymore.

After taking a cab back to his house, Collin practically threw himself onto the couch with a small sigh. He reached into his pocket to dial Madden, hoping that he made it home in one piece. Considering all of the drinking that he been done, he could not remembered what had happened to Madden during the party.

Madden did not have his phone on him. Teague had stolen Madden's phone to further break up the couple. The other male, smirked, answering Madden's phone. "Teague speaking," he said, pleased with how well things were going.

Teague? He furrowed his eyebrows for a second, not understanding what was going on. Maybe Madden lost his phone at the party and this gui, Teague, found it. "Yeah, where did you find this phone?" Collin asked, glancing over at the time. He figured that he should drive over to Madden's place.

Teague laughed. He thought Madden was still in his room, so he wasn't worried. "Actually, you see, Madden slept over with me last night." Which, if Teague had known about Madden's almost being raped, he never would've said that.

"Slept over?" Collin repeated, completely confused by the whole entire accusation. Considering how terrified Madden was last night about the break-in, he would never go home with another person whether sober or drunk. "You see, I don't believe you," He trailed off before hanging up the phone with a prompt click. Collin concluded that he must have left it behind. Grabbing his keys, he raced over to Madden's house, frantically ringing the doorbell multiple times.

Madden was the one to answer the door, actually. He swallowed when he saw Collin. "C-Collin," he whispered. His eyes were red from crying. He trailed his eyes to the ground, shivering. He couldn't look at Collin anymore.

Collin was shocked when Madden opened the door, seeing his bloodshot eyes. "Madden?" He furrowed his eyebrows, afraid that what Teague said it was true. "Did that Teague guy hurt you?" He asked.

Madden shook his head. "No," he whispers. He guessed it was time to go through all this again. "I wanna b-break up," he said, stifling a sob.

"What do you mean break up?" Now, Collin was the one who was confused. Did this have to do with Teague? "I don't understand, Madden," He blinked, furrowing his eyebrows once again.

Madden whimpered, taking a few steps away from Cole. "I c-can't belong to y-you anymore. You put the parties before me..." He swallowed. "I'm the one wh-who fell off the t-table. You didn't even know who I was..."

"I put parties before you," He repeated, attempting to think about how ridiculous that sounded. Collin would never do such a thing. Of course, he did party a little too hard a little too often, but he always worried about Madden. "Mad, I would never. I always worry about you." A small sigh passed through his lips as Madden took a few steps away from him. "You fell off of a table last night?" He exclaimed, stepping forward to take Madden's face into his hands to examine it closely. "How's your head? Did you sprain anything? Hurt anything?"

Madden thought about what Collin was saying. His eyes widened slightly as he realized who had been the only person near his drink that night. He sniffled, letting Collin examine him. "I'm fine. I mean, I hurt my head, but..." He fell against Collin, whimpering. "Teague is trying to break us up."
