Once she heard that he would stop singing, that was the last straw for her and she stood up to change her clothes without needing another world. She completely hated it when people tried to sing, especially if there should have been a law created to make it illegal for that person to sing. "Okay, okay. Thank you for ruining my morning. You can go downstairs and tell everyone." Violet walked over to her wardrobe before picking out the first things she saw that somewhat went together. She couldn't help but frown the whole entire time she was rummaging through her belongings.

The whole entire day was rough on him as he had to run from meeting to meeting as well as the desk work that accompanied it. Sometimes Alex wanted to just give everything to his Vice President to do, but he knew that if he didn't have work he wouldn't know what to do with himself. As the night neared, he finally got to relax in his chair with a sigh and recollect the thoughts in his brain. He just wondered what had happened to Makenna and her interview.

Hayden frowned a little, his shell coming back and covering him up. "Sorry.. Have a good day anyways," he mumbled. Sometimes he took things a bit to seriously, just one of his flaws and another thing he hated about himself.

He then heade down the stairs and told them he had her woke up and she was getting dressed. With a surprised look violets mother smiled and nodded.

"Well that's surprising. I can never wake that child up," she said with a bit of a laugh," here's your food Hun," she said sliding a plate in front if him.

Makes as interview went.. Well bad. Turns out the owner and manager was someone she used To be friends with. Seeing her appearance they only laughed and after that the interview was cut rather short. In short, Makenna left jobless. It was things like that, that kept her on the streets. That kept her mindset about herself the same. No matter what she would never be good enough, she never was.

After a quick stop and more money in her pocket she stopped by her regular and grabbed her a bit of a fix. Doing what she needed to in a dark ally she soon headed back to Alex's. Walking in it was obvious she had took something but she tried to hide it.

Violet sighed as she started to throw off her clothes and pulled on her a pair of jeans with an overly-sized sweatshirt. It was obvious there was no effort in her attire for the day. All she could do was drag herself downstairs to be met with the lively atmosphere created by her 'family'. The whole idea of her family functioning much better without her presence only made her blood boil even further. They didn't need her around. Hayden could be everything that she couldn't and more. Without saying another word, she pulled on her boots and left the house to walk to school not wanting to have to rely on anyone else. They wouldn't even notice the fact that she had left to begin with or even the fact that she was missing.

Arriving home, he had asked the chef to prepare something surprising for Makenna in hopes of hearing the good news from the job offering. Alex heard the sound of his staff welcoming her back to the state before seeing the actual state she was in. It was clear by the way she was walking about that she had taken something to suppress all reasoning and emotion. "Hey.. Are you alright?" He asked as he went over to actually help her into a seat since it didn't seem like she could actually make it there herself. "Makenna. Really."

Hayden glanced up once He heard Violet come downstairs and waited for her to come eat. However a slam of the front door soon sounded throughout the house but no one seemed to really notice besides him. Eating only a little he excused himself. He grabbed a granola bar and waded out the door.

"Hey Violet wait up," he called and caught up with her and handed her the food. "You didn't come down and eat anything so um, here's a granola bar. I didn't really know what you liked so I just um grabbed something," he said a bit nerously.

"No," she spoke with a sickly sweet smile on her face. "I'm a fuck up," she said and right after let out a laugh. "You know it's funny. I used to make fun of you because I thought you were a fuck up but really gues what," she said and grabbed his collar and pulled him close,"I've always been the fuck up. Im a big ass fuck up!" She yelled throughout the place and let out another laugh.

"Funny right? Never knew that huh," she grinned as she attempted to stand up but wobbled. "But on the bright side, your well off. You're happy for me to be like this huh?! I don't blame you. I deserve all the shit I get," she said, the sickly sweet smile returning. It was obvious she was out of it.

She kept her eyes glued to the sidewalk as she walked down the street not expecting anyone to follow her out, especially not Hayden. Some part of her was used to getting this sort of treatment and could care less but there was always that lingering side that couldn't get past it. Violet turned hearing his voice before letting out an inevitable groan despite feeling somewhat relieved that he had actually noticed that she had left. "I don't eat in the morning. You can eat it." She shrugged him off as she dug her hands into her pockets.

Alex frowned as she wobbled by trying to stand up and steadied her with his hand on her shoulder. "So, you screwed up the first part of your life. You can still fix it. You're still young and nothing is set in stone." He knew that she had some insecurities, but would never actually admit them to his face. It was obvious that she must have taken something since this was not the Makenna that he remembered. Forget about having dinner. She wasn't going to be able to eat anything without poking herself in the face with a fork. She needed to get some rest to relax her mind.

Hayden shrugged. "I'm not really hungry. You sure you don't want it?" He asked her again, a boyish smile playing on his face. After a minute though he stuck it in his bag and walked beside her silently. "So what grade are you in?" He asked her curiously. He wasn't sure if his dad had said she was in his or maybe a grade lower or higher.

"No. I'll never have a better life. Even if I try karma always finds a way to fuck me. I may me fucked up right now but I know you don't care about the friend shit. God. I'm leaving," she said not in the mood for anything but also it wouldn't be safe for her to leave. She still though headed for the door and opened it surprisingly and tried to walk out.

She gave an inward groan wanting to punch the stupid grin off of his perfect face that just reminded her of everything she was not. "No, I am sure I don't." Violet reiterated as she started to walk at a faster pace as if to lose him even though he had longer legs than her in the first place. "A Junior..." She trailed off to fix the strap of her messenger bag that was slung across her chest.

"Hey! Hey, don't do something irrational on me." Alex couldn't help himself but pity her in all the crap that she had been through since he was in the exact position years ago. Alone. Broke. Stoned. He grabbed her with a firm grip but not strong enough to leave a mark. He couldn't have to leaving especially in a state like that. "Come here, Makenna. I don't want you to leave." He admitted with a sigh since, despite the revenge plot, he had made a promise to let her stay.

Hayden nodded and smiled. "So am I," he grinned. Now they walked in silence and soon was close to school and he could see it in the distance. Even though he was supposedly just visiting his father, he was actually staying for the rest of the school year. What Hayden doesn't know though is that he may be staying for even longer than that. Another thing was that this was not the first time he would be going in this building. This was where he had gone for most of his life before the divorce 4 years ago.

Makenna whipped around to him quickly making herself stumble but didn't fall due to his hand steadying her.

"Quite lying! Fucking stop! I want to leave. God just leave me alone!" She screamed, now only anger feeling her. "Just let me fucking leave!" She screamed as tears fell as well.

Violet was sure that he would make friends instantly since everyone would be attracted to the new nice kid especially since the last one had been her. She would just fade into the background like she usually did.. just like a ghost wandering the hallways. Although, she couldn't say it was because no one wanted to talk to her. It was more of the fact that she pushed everyone away who tried to get closer to her. She glanced up as the school appeared in the distance and the chatter of her classmates filled the area. "Bye." She quickly muttered before parting ways with him to get to her first period class without waiting for him to say anything.

He continued to frown as she started to weep since he didn't let her leave the house. Alex was sure that her voice could be heard throughout the whole house, but that wasn't exactly the most important thing at the moment. "Makenna, calm down. Where are you going to stay if you leave, huh? It's dark and cold outside which is not exactly idea for a person." Despite trying to reason with her, he had a feeling that doing something like that was going to help her. He pulled her closer so that he would have a firmer grasp on her as he tried to lead her away from the way out of the house.

Hayden started to say something to her before she left but didn't haw the chance. Now he was walking up towards the office to get his schedule. When doing so he couldn't help but feel small. He felt himself shrink under the stares an he didn't like it one bit. It reminded him if when he was younger, around 7th or 8th grade when he went here and really all before. He was lanky and small as kid so if course he was prone to bullying. The fact that he was smart and not a dumb ass only made it worse for him.

Makenna true to struggle as he held her firmly. "Let go of me!" She yelled but it was no use. She was too out of it to get free. Even if normal that task would probably be difficult. She argued for the longest time until whatever she was on started to wear off a bit and now she just wanted sleep. "Just let me go. I'm going bed," she seethed at him, still pissed that she had no choice but to be here right now.

As per Hayden, Violet's day always started off just as dreadfully as some either stared or completely ignored her existence as she walked through the hallways. No friends - just the way she liked it. From her perspective, there was no such thing as friends since they would betray you in the end to take care of themselves. She stopped by her locker to pick up her textbooks that were surely collecting dust from not being used. Violet only worried about English since it was her favorite subject, everything else didn't really matter. Walking into her first period class, she sat in her assigned seat which, thankfully, wasn't in the front row.

Alex was getting tired of arguing with a woman that was utterly high off of something at the moment. It was obvious that her mind was one a one-way track to no where and he wasn't about to let her end up getting killed in the middle of the night. Once she finally settled down, he let her wrists go before crossing them over his chest. "Alright, but no funny business. You are getting sleep. I'm going to have one of the maids check-up on you later to make sure that you are fine."

Hayden glanced over his schedule and then headed to his first class. Looking down the halways he searched for his class and soon walked in right as the bell rang.

"Well I see we have a new student. Hayden Smith correct?" The teacher said and Hayden replied with a simple nod. The older man then smiled an hen seemed as if a light had been turned on. "Didn't you go here when you were younger?" He asked. A question Hayden really wish would had never been asked. Again though Hayden only nodded and soon was assigned a set, the seat beside Violet.

"What am I a child?" She asked annoyedly as she headed to her room. As soon as her head hit the pillow she was out.

The next morning she woke up, a bad headache and a bit of blue vision but defiantly better than last night. She headed to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Once out and dried off, she threw on some clothes and a bit of makeup before walking out. She really didn't want to face Alex at the moment. She knew he would only judge her more now and she hated that feeling.

Taking out her binder and pen, Violet began to draw random things that popped into her head. Most of it was just randomness. The bell rang and she waited to hear the teacher drone on about whatever it is they were learning. She didn't even know what subject it was. After a moment, she found it odd that the teacher hadn't started and the class, the girls in particular, were chattering about. Oh no. Violet felt herself cringe and the grip on her pen tighten as the name Hayden Smith was pronounced. She had to have first period with him. Of course, she did. She refused to make eye contact with him as he sat down in the open seat next to her. Out of all seats.

"Well you're certainly acting like one, Makenna." Alex responded as she stomped off to go back to her room. He wasn't even sure if she could make it back there without needing some help. With a sigh, he had the staff eat the dinner that they were supposed to have before heading off to bed. It had been a long day for the both of them.

As per his routine, he woke up at six in the morning to get ready for work. The smell of coffee filled the dinning room as he sat down at the head of the table. He had a feeling that Makenna would want to avoid him because of what happened the previous night. If the situation was reversed, he would have felt the same way. Embarrassed. Humiliated to no avail. Alex didn't feel he had any place to mock her and almost felt some sort of sympathy. She had tried to get a decent job, but her past had screwed it up. At least she tried. That was the thing that was keeping him from judging her.

Makenna took in a bit of air and shook her head. She could feel butterfly's fluttering all in her stomach. She already felt like the dirt on the streets compared to Alex and after last nights incident, she was just waiting for the comments he would say about her.

Walking out in the main part of the house, she quietly made her way to the kitchen and made herself a cup of coffee, doing all she could not to make eye contact with Alex.

Hayden looked over at Violet as he sat down. However he quickly looked away and looked to the front of the class. He honestly never wanted to come back to this school, but obviously things just never worked out.

Getting out a pencil and a notebook, he began jotting down notes as the teacher began her lecture. One reason he never had many friends here. He was rather intelligent and this caused many to be Jealous of him and therefore pick on him whenever they got the chance.

(Sorry I haven't posted! I got busy with school and other stuff and just didn't have the chance!)

As Makenna tried disappear from existence, he glanced up from the newspaper and placed it down onto the table before him. "I understand." Alex stated knowing that she would know exactly what he was talking about. "Life sucks and sometimes you don't know what to do with yourself. It's completely normal. What do you on think I did when you had everyone in the school make fun of me? Exactly what you did - something stupid." He took a gulp of his coffee as though they were having a perfectly normal conversation. "Now, stop pretending like I am trying to plan to use that incident against you."

Just pretending like that had no idea that each other existed. Violet gave a small triumphant smile to herself as she went back to doodling inside of her notebook. If things continued this way, she would be able to tolerate him being inside of the same school as her.

"Why not? I deserve it. I treated you like pure shit." She mumbled sipping her coffee an letting a silence fall over them before speaking once more. "I'm sorry about that you know," she started ,"I was terrible to you. Hell I made everyone do terrible things to you. I still don't see why they listened to me. Look how fucked up I turned out." She said with a slight laugh. "I was never one who should have made anyone's life hell. I guess I was so busy going through my own hell I never thought of anyone else..." She sighed softly before setting her finished coffee in the sink.

As the bell rang for the next class Hayden began putting his things in his binder, near and orderly and all a certain way just like he always had. However, as he did out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of a very familiar face.

"Ole dumb ass. You're back!" A tall jock like guy spoke as he went to wrap his arm around Hayden's shoulder, knowing Hayden's papers and all everywhere.

"Can you not Greg." He mumbled trying to get out of his grasp with fail. "I need to get to my next class." He mumble softly wishing he would just go away.

(I am SO sorry that I haven't posted in forever. Things just pile up and I forgot about most of my roleplays! Sorry!)

(It's alright. Don't worry about it! I just saw your post on the recruiting thread and thought I would try to revive it.)

Alex felt an internal conflict as a part of him wanted to tell that it really was karma coming back but another part of him felt.. sympathetic and forgiving. He wasn't sure how to feel about this new part of his psyche that wanted to throw away his initial plan. Hell, even he was acting like a child, wanting to show off all his new toys to the girl who had made his life horrible. "All you can do is build up from there then. Find yourself a job and get out of the shit hole that is your life." He told her to ease his own guilt before finishing up his own coffee. Alex knew that he had to report to work soon as he glanced down at his watch and folded up the newspaper.

Hearing the bell ring, she shoved the papers from class into her binder and stood up but Hayden and some guy blocked her way. He even had friends inside of this school. Violet frowned as she moved to go around the two before hearing the sound of paper being scattered about. That was his problem. She took two steps away before hearing the words 'dumb ass' and she turned back slightly to see that it actually hadn't been a friend. Violet sighed knowing that the right thing to do would be to help him out even though she did hate him. His conscience wouldn't allow her to walk away.

Makenna shrugged. "Yeah that's if someone will ever hire me." She mumbled. Grabbing some water out of the fridge she popped the cap off and downed it. Thinking and acting on a whim she spoke. "So. Okay. Um," she was rambling," do you have any suggestions of where I could get a job like, anywhere?" She asked really regretting having to ask for help. He probably wouldn't even want to suggest anywhere knowing they would turn her down just by looking at her.

"Still talking back I see?" Greg spoke with a condescending tone. "You know what that got you last time," Greg whispered, grabbing Hayden's collar so no one else could here before pushing him away.

Hayden just shook his head and started picking up his things, the fact that they were everywhere was driving him completely crazy.

"Oops," Greg spoke smiling a bit as he stepped on a paper leaving a foot print mark on it.

He just rolled his eyes at her pessimism, thinking that that definitely wouldn't get her anywhere. "Makenna, you'll be fine." Alex felt a bit odd knowing that he had just encouraged her to become successful in life which was the complete opposite of what he had wanted initially. "There are tons of jobs around here.. you just have to look for them. How about this.. Why don't you become my personal assistant? I recently fired the last one so I am in need of one." Alex offered not knowing anything else.

"Hey, Greg! The principal was looking for you before.. something about finding alcohol in your locker?" She called out as she only saw that the situation was escalating. That kid really needed to learn about how to take care of himself. Violet adjusted the strap of her messenger bag as she watched him scamper off and she was left with the boy who was collecting the loose pages. "First day and you're already making enemies." She told him as she knelled to help pick of the stack of papers.
