Sparks of Revolution and Love

Peeta smiled at her and chuckled at his words - and then she started acting all flustered about it and he wondered if it was him who had done something wrong. "Hey - no reason to rush away..." He said softly with a frown as she seemed to want to get rid of him. "Or is it against rebel rule or something to hang out with the stupid people you're training?" He asked. He might as well get to know her...

Luckily, they weren't confined to a certain spot, so Arissa didn't intend on staying at home for very long. Instead, she got herself settled into her own little spot at the place they had been given and she smiled. At least she was free to do what she wanted... That felt good. It felt really good.

Melope looked at him with a soft smile on her face. "No, there is no rule." she said as she turned around to face him. "How are you feeling?" she asked gently as she bit her lip gently. She pulled her hair out of a ponytail and let it fall around her shoulders.

Gale continue to help for a while before he finished helping. Turning, he headed out to the hallway. Looking around, he tried to find something entertaining to do. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. This is crazy, he thought as he tried to relax.

Peeta smiled at her and chuckled. "Good... I haven't really gotten to associate myself with people, so if you won't leave right away, I'd appreciate your company." To her question, he sighed and looked down. "I don't really know - I haven't figured it out yet... I don't know if I'll ever feel normal again." He then looked up and smiled. "You look beautiful with your hair down - n-not that you don't with your hair up, I just mean..." Why was he such an idiot some times?

Arissa sighed as she walked around. Hmm... There was apparently nothing to do here - except perhaps annoy that one officer again who seemed to like fighting with her, since they seemed equally matched. By the time she had made so many turns and curves, she was sure she had gotten herself lost. Just her luck...

Melope frowned slightly at his answer. "I'm sorry." She said softly as she reached out and touched his arm gently. She laughed softly at his compliment before looking at him. "Thank you," she said honesty before she walked over and sat down by her knives. She patted the spot next to her as she looked up at him.

Gale chuckled when he saw the girl he had been talking to earlier apparently lost. "Lost?" He asked as he came up behind her with a smirk on his face. He didn't know why he found her so amusing but he couldn't really help it sometimes. "You want to go back to your family?" He asked as he watched, wondering why she left her family so quickly.

Peeta smiled at her when she went over to sit by her knives and he hesitated to walk over to her. "I don't know if I shouldn't trust that!" He teased. "I'm pretty sure I should be scared of you and your knives!" She was definitely skilled in what she did - and he thought that was awesome. She was smart.

Arissa blushed when she happened upon the man from early and she frowned a little, scowling at him. "No..." She said softly - though she was. This place was like a labyrinth. When he asked about her family, she shook her head and sighed. "No - I don't want to be around my father at the moment." She shouldn't have been mad... He was allowed to do as he pleased - but she didn't want to be a rebel. She liked the old ways.

Melope laughed softly at his statement and she looked over at him. "Maybe you should be afraid." She said with a cheeky grin. She let her eyes trace over his profile before looking away. Hearing the door open, she jumped up and her eyes widened slightly when she saw Katniss. Nodding to Katnisd, she glanced at Peeta for a moment, figuring her would want to be alone with the girl her love, she began to gather her stuff up.

Gale looked at her with a raised eyebrow before shrugging. "Well, since you aren't lost or anything, I am going to be on my way." He said as he walked past her and headed down the hall. "Stay out of trouble okay?" He teased as he continued to walk. He almost wished that she would follow him. She was the most enjoyable conversation....well, enjoyable was the wrong word. Interesting conversation he had had in a while.

Peeta had taken a seat by her and chuckled lightly as he rolled his eyes. He probably should've been scared! She was good with a knife, much better than he was with any weapon. He sighed a little as Katniss came in and then he shook his head at Melope. "You don't have to leave you know..." He said softly as she went to go.

Arissa rolled her eyes and scowled as he started to walk past her and she turned on her heel, wanting to follow him. "Of course I'll stay out of trouble!" She said angrily - though she wasn't taking orders from some stupid soldier of the rebellion. "Ok - so maybe I am lost... But that doesn't mean I need your help." She followed him anyway.

Melope looked at him for a moment before glancing back at Katniss. "I think it is better if I do," she said honestly as she put on her coat and pulled her hair back up into a ponytail. "I'll see you tomorrow Peeta." She said softly. As she was closing the door, she heard Katniss scoff. "Melope really? You have a thing for girl's with weapons?"

Gale looked back at her and rolled his eyes. "Why so defensive?" He asked teasingly as he continued walking. "If you don't need my help than why are you following me? I could be going anywhere." He said as he continued walking with a slight smirk on his face. "I was just offering to help and you turned me down remember?"

Peeta frowned a little as Melope hurried to walk away. He didn't understand it... It wasn't like she needed to run away just because the girl he wanted suddenly came into the room. "I don't have a thing for anyone, Katniss!" He said softly, shaking his head. "She's training me - so I can go help in the rebellion. And what's wrong with Melope?"

Arissa sighed as he tried to tease her and she shook her head. Why was this guy so annoying to her anyways? "I'm not being defensive - and I don't need your help! I just decided that I wanted to go this way..." She rolled her eyes and then chuckled to herself. "Are you always so strikingly... Annoying?" She asked.

Melope walked away from them and she sighed softly. Running her fingers through her hair, she went into the advanced training room. Activating it, she launched herself into a field of body and blows raining down on her. She could feel sweat dripping down her face as she pushed herself harder and harder.

Gale looked at her and rolled his eyes. He turned toward a room before topping in the doorway. "Well, since you aren't lost or anything, I'm goin to leave you here as this is my room and you aren't going in it. And yes, I pride mysel on attempting to annoy people." He said with a sarcastic eye roll as he began to shut the door on her.

Peeta smiled over as Katniss then and made her take a seat beside him. He didn't understand what the point of this rivalry was between her and Melope. Melope was just a trainer to him - nothing more. Yes, there were some comments about her beauty, but he just couldn't help himself...

Arissa let out a sound of annoyance as he went into his room. She almost let him shut the door, and then she kicked her foot in the way of it, shaking her head. "Okay - so... I'm lost. I figured you'd figure that out sooner or later." She said, crossing her arms and trying to look anywhere but at him as she felt herself blush.

Melope continued to train before she finally felt her muscles trembling. She moved out of the training room and caught her breath. Jeez, she thought as she headed to her room for a shower and a little bit of relaxation.
"She is pretty," Katniss observed. "Plus, everyone knows she has had a crush on you for years." She said as she glanced over at Perta as she slide into the seat next to him. "I thought you knew that."

Glad looked at her and frowned slightly. "It is not nice to kick stuff that isn't yours and yes, I knew you were lost but you said you weren't and you also said that you didn't need my help." He rolled his eyes at her as he walked out. "By the way, that is a broom closet, nothing special." He chuckled as he began to walk again. "Come on, we are going to be late." He called to her.

Peeta chuckled at Katniss's remark. He didn't believe it... Did they all know that she was one saving him from his mother's abuse - or did they just assume their own things? Of course, he thought she was beautiful and all, but that didn't change his mind about Katniss. "I don't think you know what you're talking about." He said as he rested an arm softly around her. "She's just helping me out - like she did in the past - that doesn't automatically make her have a crush on me."

Arissa was annoyed - as well as caught off guard - when he started to scold her and she scowled. What was he going to do - put her in time out again? Yeah right. "So what - pretending that was your room was just a trick to make me show my real intentions?" She asked with an eyeroll. "Aren't you cunning." Sarcasm. When he walked, she raised an eyebrow. "Late?" She asked softly. "Where are we going?"

Melope looked around and tried to relax. She walked to her bedroom and sat down. Running her fingers through her hair, she tried to relax before pushing herself up and getting into the shower. Running her fingers through her hair, she sighed softly before walking away. Looking up at the ceiling, she stood up. Time to get a move on, she thought as she strapped on her gear. Walking down the hall, she pulled her hair into a ponytail.

Katniss looked at him and pushed herself up. "You are blind to it Peeta." she said as she got out her arrows and began to fire at the targets around the room.

Gale looked over at her and rolled her eyes. "Your sarcasm wounds me. We are heading to my look out spot which technically you aren't allowed to go." he said as he walked through the halls. "Why did you wonder off after just getting back with your family?" he asked curiously as he glanced over at her and smiled gently.

Peeta sighed as he listened to Katniss's words. He didn't believe it. She wasn't in love with him or whatever - and he certainly wasn't blind to this fact that she wasn't. "I'm not blind to anything, Katniss!" He said softly, watching in amazement as she shot. She was so good at it. Sometimes she made him so jealous of her skills.

Arissa chuckled as she followed him to his look out spot and she raised an eyebrow. "I certainly don see you trying to lose me from your trial!" She teased and chuckled at him. She wasn't going to not follow him. This was more fun. To his words, she sighed. "I don't know - I wanted to do some exploring!"

Melope walked into the training room and raised an eyebrow at what Peeta said. She took a moment before looking at Katniss. "We are going out in about five minutes. You are my back up." Melope said as she looked at Katniss for a moment. "Meet me at the tunnel." she said as she turned and headed out. She knew it was a dangerous mission and it didn't help that Katniss was her back up.

Gale looked at her. "I'm not trying to lose you. That would require more effort on my part then I care to put on. Besides, you are going to be here for a while so it's not like you won't find out where the post is." he said with a shrug as he continued walking. "Yeah, good job exploring," he said with an eye roll as he continued to walk through the halls. Arriving at a set of stairs, he glanced at her. "If you come up, you can't tell anyone." he said.

Peeta smiled as he saw Melope coming back in and then he frowned at her words. Oh, that was not going to be good... He had a feeling Katniss was going to say something - and she shouldn't need to worry... It wasn't like Melope was even trying to go after him. "Behave." He told Katniss softly, giving her a kiss on the forehead.

Arissa smiled at him and then nodded her head. "Hey, I did just fine exploring - I found you, didn't i? And now you're going to show me the look out spot of yours!" She teased. "I call that a good day for scoping out the area - besides, if you're not letting me up, I'll just stay down here until you get done - I'm still lost..."

Melope waited by the tunnel. Seeing Katniss coming down the hall, she began to head out. Taking out one if her knives, she kept it close. Something about Katniss since the hunger games was off putting, at least to Melope. Climbing out, Melope looked around quickly for someone but saw no one. She moved all the way out of the tunnel.

Gale looked at her and chuckled softly. "Alright, let's go break some rules." He said as he headed up the steps. "Come on," he called over his shoulder before he disappeared from sight. Gale climbed into the roof and smiled as he looked out. It was beautiful, he thought as the breeze blew in his face. It was nice out tonight.

Peeta sighed as he went back to his room and shook his head. He didn't know what had gotten into Katniss lately. It wasn't like she had any reason to be suspicious - and there was no reason to be mean to Melope either. She was a nice girl... She had been a good friend in the past, he now remembered.

Arissa looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Break rules?!" She asked with a smile and a little, happy giggle. "I'm so game!" She followed him up the stairs and then sighed to be back in the fresh air. "Ah..." She said, spinning in the night's beauty. "It's so nice out tonight."

Melope walked with Katniss in silence for a bit before Melope motioned for her to stay put. "This is your look out point." She said. "If I'm not back in fifteen go back to the base." She said before she headed out. Listening closely, she knew there were people here and she needed to find them before they round her.

Gale glanced around and nodded. "Yeah, it is gorgeous out." He said as he looked back at her. "What is your name?" He asked suddenly when he realized that he still didn't know it and for some reason, he really cared about it. "I'm Gale." He introduced himself to her as he watched her.
