Sparks of Revolution and Love

Peeta smiled lightly. "Well that's one person that had faith in me - apparently you're one of the few!" He teased and then shrugged.it was odd..,. They were talking about Katniss yet he didn't want to leave Melope's side just yet. It was confusing to him, but he didn't really mind it.

Arissa sighed as she heard the name. She had known the two... The two who had died - she wanted to say under her hands, but she couldn't, because Katniss didn't do much killing in the games, only outwitting. "Oh, Katniss..." She said softly and then sighed. "And what will you do as a soldier?" She asked gently, wanting to not talk about the girl.

Melope glanced over at him for a moment before lookin away and back up at the ceiling. "Another trainer will be assigned to you." She said. "You will meet in the same room at the same time." She spoke softly. Her eyes fluttered shut and she fought to keep them open.

Gale looked at her for a moment before biting his lip. "Hopefully I will be able to help families like yours. Be able to get some people out before the fighting begins." He said. "I want to end this war." He said as he leaned back against the siding.

Peeta's eyes wrinkled together. He didn't understand. Why did he need a new trainer? He didn't want a new trainer - Melope was good enough for him... And kind enough. "What - no!" He said in a fighting tone and shook his head. "Why do I need another trainer?"

Arissa looked at him and giggled lightly. "Well why would you help families like mine? It's not my family that needs the help... It's your families!" She said softly, knowing what he meant but still finding it ironic. She assumed he would be more vengeful to the other districts...

Melope looked at him and smiled softly. "It is because I am injured. Once I become healthy again, you will be transferred back to me." She said as she reached out and touched his hand gently. "It is only temporary." She reassured him.

Gale looked at her and rolled his eyes at her. "Smart ass," he said as he shook his head before he looked up at the sky again and scanned the land around them. It was a beautiful night out, he thought pleasantly as the wind brushed his hair against his forehead.

Peeta sighed softly and nodded his head. "You better become healthy again fast!" He teased, shaking his head as he looked down at her. "I don't want to be with another trainer... Even Katniss looks down at me for my poor skills in anything with a weapon. I'm just not good at it." He shrugged.

Arissa'a mouth dropped open at his words and she laughed. "Oh my goodness - what did you just call me?" She teased, shaking her head in disapproval. It was funny. No one ever was so stern with her... She was usually the one that guys always wanted - not hated.

Melope glanced at him and smiled. "I'll so my very best," she promised before watching him. "It's not bad, your skills I mean." She said. "You just need practice but you have the potential to be really good," she said as she reached out and touched his hand gently.

Gale looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "You heard what I said. Do you need me to repeat it?" He asked with a smirk on his face as he leaned against the wall. He watched her and shook his head and chuckled lowly.

Peeta smiled as her and shook his head. "You don't have to lie to me - I know I'm terrible... And I've accepted that! Don't lie to me about it!" He stuck his tongue out to her and sighed. He turned his hand - so he was holding hers. It was just to comfort her.

Arissa raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "Only if you want to end up with a black eye!" She teased. He was so terrible. She did like him - not at all. It was so bad!

Melope smiled softly and have his hand a gentle squeeze. "You just need a lot more practice than most," she said with a cheeky smile on her face as she winked at him playfully.

Gale looked at her and chuckled. "Oh I remember. You could kill me in ten different ways " he said as he looked at her with a teasing smile on his face. He laughed with a grin on his face.

Peeta shook his head and held her hand tightly as he rolled his eyes. "You're right... A LOT of practice!" He said softly with a smile and shook his head as she winked at him. "Are you ticklish?" He asked. He could use that against her if she wanted to tease him.

Arissa rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Yes - and don't you even doubt me! I could totally kill you!" She teased. for some reason, she enjoyed his company. He was really funny, when she thought about it.

Melope looked at him and smiled softly. "Depends on why you want to know," she said talking about the ticklish question. "The new trainer will practice with you and then I will come back and practice with you a lot." She said with a grin on her face.

Gale looked at her and rolled his eyes again. "I know, you could totally kill me. Go all ninja District 1 girl on my butt." He said with a teasing tone in his voice as he winked at her teasingly. "But you would miss me." He said with a cheeky grin.

Peeta smiled at her and loomed over her teasingly. "Maybe I just want to know if I can use it against you!" He teased. "Only for good things, of course!" He teased. He nodded his head and smiled. "A lot? You just went to spend time with me don't you?!" He teased.

Arissa blushed and nodded her head. "Oh yeah - I definitely could!" She said with a smile and then blushed. She shrugged and pretended it was nothing. "Oh yeah - I'm sure I would.... Not!" She teased.

Melope looked up at him and shivered slightly at the implications. "Well....it doesn't mater because I-I'm not ticklish." she stumbled over her words and bit her lip gently. "I just want to see how many times I can beat you." she said with a teasing wink.

Gale looked at her and smirked. "Aaawww the District 1 girl blushed because of me. You are so cue when you blush," he teased as he grinned at her before beginning to laugh softly. "You won't admit it but you would miss me." he said confidently.

Peeta smirked at her. It was cute. She was a bad liar. He could tell by the way that she stumbled over her words like that. "If you say so." He would have to experiment when she was better. To her words, he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms defiantly. "You'll see - by the time you're better I'll be better than you!"

Arissa blushed even deeper when he teased her about it. She covered her face and shook her head. "No - it's not because of you!" She said with a frown. "It's because of the words that you're saying - but fine... I might miss your annoying, idiotic ways. Happy?"

Melope rolled her eyes at him before smiling. "Yeah, whatever you say Peeta." she said teasingly as she pushed herself and smiled softly. Looking at him, she stuck her tongue out at him jokingly.

Gale looked at her and grinned happily. "Ha! Victory!" he said with a cheesy grin before winking at her. "Awww, if you could see yourself now. You kind of look like a tomato." he said with a teasing tone in his voice.

Peeta chuckled as her and shook his head. "You have no faith in me? The victor of the hunger games? Ah... I see... That is very unfair!" He chuckled. He was ultimately teasing. He wasn't so stuck up.

Arissa frowned as he picked on her for it and she shook her head. "You know - you're really not funny!" She teased, shaking her head at him. When he teased about her looking like a tomato, she rolled her eyes. "I should really punch you right now..."

Melope looked at him and smiled cheekily. "Yeah...well...." She said before smiling again and winking at him playfully. Leaning against the wall, she looked up when doctors walked in.

Gale looked at her and laughed softly. "I think that it am pretty funny," he said with a shrug before glancing at her again and raising an eyebrow. "Then why haven't you?"

Peeta smiled at her and shook his head. She had no faith in him! That wasn't very nice! He sighed a little as the doctors came in though and he leaned back, trying to stay out of the way so they could do their thing.

Arissa rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Oh - just hilarious!" She said sarcastically, shaking her head in disapproval at him. She smiled then and then grimaced. "Because I'm trying to control myself..." She stated simply.

Melope looked at him for a moment before shivering slightly when the doctors pulled the blankets off of her. The doctors poked and asked questions and she tried to act serious between flashing weird faces at Peeta.

Gale looked at her and nodded. "Well, thank you for your amazing self control." He said with a grin as he winked at her. "You know, you are harshing my mood with your negativity." He said teasingly.

Peeta chuckled as she continued to look over at him. "You're going to make the doctors make me leave!" He mouthed to her at one point and flashed a smile. He was glad he was at least making her feel better.

Arissa rolled her eyes at his thanks and then shook her head. "And how am I affecting your mood?!" She asked teasingly right back to him. They were unlikely to talk anymore outside of this... They couldn't be friends... They were from two completely different worlds.

Melope looked at him and tried to hide her laughter. She let out a gasp as a doctor touched her cut. Biting her lip, she took a deep breath. Guess they assumed she was still on pain killers, she thought.

Gale looked at her and waved a hand at her. "You're negativity." he explained as he smirked. Hearing someone walking up, he moved to stand between her and the door as he watched.
