Simply post what piece you're currently working on. You can give the title, a summary, an excerpt, link it if it's posted. Whatever information you feel like giving.

I have the basic plot written out, character backgrounds and bits and bobs, but every week when I sit down to write the chapter, I basically wing it. I love writing this story though because it doesn't need much planning - the funny/cute moments between the main characters just write themselves and it's so great. I'm currently finishing up chapter three, introducing two characters that aren't pivotal to the story, but they will provide some interest - although no one will know until the end, hehe.

I'm currently working on my untitled-as-of-yet James Maslow Hanukkah oneshot.

I've literally asked for a James Maslow Hanukkah oneshot for Secret Santa two years in a row, posted a request for it in the Story Request Thread, and no one will fucking write it for me.

It's absolutely pathetic that there are no Hanukkah stories on this entire site and yet there's an influx of Christmas stories every single year Facepalm Seriously Mibba, it's really not that hard.

Myself and vulcan; are cowriting very short chapters of Psithurisma, which is a 'short' story inspired by Hikikomori by The Bear Parade. It's a conversation in letters between a man (Steve) and God, and I really like it so far. c:

Right now, I'm working on my Johanna Mason oneshot, Our Place Beneath the Pines. It's mostly character!fic and what I would imagine to be her backstory, but there's also a hint of Big Time Rush crossover because I'm in the process of writing a series of BTR/HG crossovers, and in my head, Kendall would be from District 7, so I sort of head-crack-shipped them together.

She's such a spitfire and he's so down-to-earth and level-headed, so I feel like they'd compliment each other really well.

Writing a make out scene for The Art of Deflowering and Chica Bomb by Dan Balan comes onto my iTunes. What a fitting song for the scene I'm writing XD

I love writing this story and although I feel it's a bit fast paced, I'm excited to write the future scenes I have planned for this so I can finish it up and work on a new Dylan O'Brien story I've had planned for a while. I have a love for Dylan O'Brien / Stiles Stilinski that never would have been possible if it weren't for Teen Wolf. So thank you, Jeff Davis.

Currently working on the second chapter to my newest story, Live.

This story is written in free verse narrative poetry style. The chapters, though, they are very short and seem like they don't take long to write, they still do take quite a bit of time because I have to get straight to the point with this style of writing. There's no fillers or nice, long descriptions. Everything is just put as it is and I still have to incorporate emotion and good, powerful language into it. The flow is also really important with this style so it does take a lot of time to write but I'm enjoying it.

    Where the Wind Takes Us

I really wanted to write this earlier, but I had to write a chapter for my group story and didn't let myself work on this story until I finished that chapter. I'm on chapter nine right now, and it includes a party that will occur in the space of two chapters, with a third chapter discussing the aftermath of said party. Nothing "big" happens at the party, per say, but it's more about the subtle, smaller movements that will cause drama later on, which I'm excited to write. As far as the outline I have planned goes, there's not many big dramatic moments, but more smaller moments that build up to a moment where in real life is not much, but in the story it's a big deal, if that makes sense. I think, when you're a teenager, things matter so much more than they should and I'm really trying to focus on that, rather than seeing the situations from a logical perspective.

Working on the second to last chapter of I Know in My Heart It's Not You. Like I said, I didn't plan for this story to be long, so it's only going to be five chapters. Really excited to be working on this update because it contains events that I already planned out when I first thought of this story idea. I hope to get most of it done tonight and then finish it by tomorrow.

At the moment I'm working on a chaptered drabble story called Juicy Details. :D It's really fun to write because I don't wear myself out writing long chapters. And it's also kind of like whenever I feel the writing bug I put it to use updating the story.
I'm trying to make it as long as possible, and never ending because it's about girls going through high school. So eventually some characters are going to graduate and be replaced by new ones.

I have two chapters left of this and I'm writing the second to last chapter now, which is exciting! I'm sad to say goodbye to this story but I'm also excited because I've spent way too long on this, haha. This is the only story I've been working on all week (woops) but once this story is done, I'll be able to move onto my other (and shorter) works.

Edit: I'm now working on the last chapter and while I am so ready to finish this, a part of me wants to never write the last chapter. Is that weird?

Twitch Oh God. I'm trying to work on Sacrosanct, but I have no direction for it and I don't have the motivation to go through and re-read it. I really need to get some vision for it by seeing where it's going, but my body just wants to take off and write without a path. I think I might try to work on something else for now?

This story is basically just a brain-dump for a bunch of related things that I'm trying to work out mentally, so it's not all too coherent, but it is therapeutic. That kind of makes it special, so I want to treat the idea well.

Right now, I'm trying to make some progress on my Secret Santa oneshots, and tbh, I'm beyond excited about them tehe I've got the ficmixes made for all of them, and I pretty much know exactly what I'm going to write for each one, I just haven't had time to actually sit down and write them because I've had so much shit going on lately.

I was going to work on the plotline for Where the Wind Takes Us but I've decided to work on Heartlines because I got a comment saying that it needed to be updated so I was all 'I should probs see in my word documents where I'm up to on that' and I've fallen back in love with the story and have gotten some inspiration and have written half of the first chapter, so I'm going to work on the plot line/chapter and see I'll go from there.

I'm working on the finishing edits of Winter before I get it posted hopefully this week. I meant to have it done before Christmas, but it got so hectic that I couldn't find the time to properly go through what I've written.

Chapter two of Like Clockwork is being typed. It's told as Croft sees it, rather than Gray, and will likely alternate a bit as the story progresses.

I'm currently working on the next chapter to my story, I'll Always Love You. It's basically a love story between Hermione and Draco, but there is a big twist in it that will be revealed at some point in the story. I know the love and hate thing is pretty much getting old but this one is different!

Here is a small paragraph from the Prologue :) : Turning away, she looked at Draco and her heart started to beat faster. He surprised her. When she first learned of him, she was angry then they grew closer and everything changed. Never in a million years did Hermione think she’d ever fall in love – let alone with him but she did and didn’t regret it. It might take him sometime but she knew he’d understand too and be able to live.

I'm about to write what's going to be one of my favourite scenes from Where the Wind Takes Us. What I've written in this chapter so far is my favourite chapter overall, I think, and I'm just excited to write it. The chapter begins light hearted but I've managed to sneak some sad bits in there and I think the effect I'm going for is going to be translated nicely into the chapter. Now I just have to get my head in the game and finish writing the chapter so I can post it already!

I'm working on chapter 2 of Carry You Home Tonight, where the main characters meet for the first time. It is absolute crap but it's the most I've written in a long time, so there's that.

All clichéd stories that start at a funeral spend page after page talking about how the rain came down in sheets that morning. The day that I met him, it was as sunny a day as a Sunday morning in early June can be. Perfect azure skies stretched overhead, cotton-candy clouds drifting across it, and the world looked as if it had been washed so clean that everything is a thousand times more bright and vivid than it was the day before.
