Batch of Nine

I finally posted the first chapter! Let me know if there's anything wrong with it/anything I should fix. Sorry it took me so long.

I liked your chapter! It was a great starting point.

I added the outline from above to the first post and was wondering who wants chapter 13? As it's one of the agent's chapters, it can be any of them. I don't mind writing it but figured to offer it to you guys as well.

Also I'd really like to work out what's going to happen from chapter 14 onwards, just so that we can work out the main event(s) and how we're going to go about the deaths and wrapping this up eventually.

Thank you! I was a little unsure about it but I'm glad you liked it!

I'm also down to write chapter 13. It doesn't matter to me.

I think the next six chapters can be how the infected are brought into headquarters. From there, we can write about what's going on while they're in custody, so to speak, or do more chapters from the agents' perspectives.

On a previous page, it was discussed that there was an anonymous person who leads them to a meeting point where they discover that they are being harassed by WACH and that's when they decide to try and stick together to avoid them. What if we did this for some while others have been picked up? As I'm up for Charlotte to die, maybe chapter 14 could be Adam's chapter (if we continue with that order) and that's where he gets the note that leads him to somewhere like a park or something where he meets Carwyn and possibly all the others (depends on whether any of them will have been brought in by the agents), but Charlotte will be definitely missing as she'd been grabbed in the hospital carpark. Then in Cassidy's chapter it could be them in an abandoned building or something that the anonymous person had led them to where they're hiding and they talk about what's wrong with them. Following that would be Carwyn's chapter and in that one he could be jumped on his way to trying to get in contact with his parents and is taken to headquarters. Then we either repeat the three again or go on to Holly, Noah and Charlotte's chapters (although if Carwyn's taken in his chapter, I was thinking that the first thing he hears when he's in their custody is that one of them is dead - which would be Charlotte).

That way they all come in at separate times and we get to build relationships between the six as well as bringing them into the main plot of them being brought in.

Great! I'll add that into the outline. That takes us to at least chapter 16, and then if we do Holly and Noah as the next chapters with an agent's chapter following I could write that as Charlotte will be dead, which would bring us up to 19 chapters. Maybe one or two of the six are still out there so the next chapters would be them being brought in while the ones who are in custody are showing what it's like, not knowing what's going on, etc.

Sorry I haven't updated yet! I keep writing like half of it and then deleting it all because I just don't feel like I'm writing it how I want it. I'm going to try and have it up by Sunday night!

I'm so sorry it's taking so long! I'm having the worst writers block ever. But I'm working on it! It's probably just about half way done, and I think I can get the rest of it done within the next few days.

My chapter should be up tonight, but I wanted to discuss the outline and see whether we could conclude it soon so that I can start pre-writing some of my chapters when it's not my turn. This is what I have so far to add into the outline at the beginning, I just need you guys to agree/disagree, especially with chapters 17 and 18 (if Holly is taken, Noah shouldn't be and vice versa).

Chapter 14 (Adam): Receives a note that leads him to a park where Carwyn and others (?) are and discover they're all being harassed by WACH and decide that they were led to each other for a reason and stick together.
Chapter 15 (Cassidy): They follow directions that the anonymous person gave them and come across an abandoned building. Shares the personal information of what is wrong with them.
Chapter 16 (Carwyn): Attempts contact with his parents and is jumped and taken back to headquarters where he hears about Charlotte being dead.
Chapter 17 (Holly): If with the group, becomes aware of Carwyn being gone for a while and panic sets in so they think to go somewhere else. If not with the group, gets taken from home??
Chapter 18 (Noah): (with the group) An encounter with two WACH agents and they scatter, (not with the group) gets taken in.
Chapter 19 (Agent ?): Observes how the ones in custody are acting, talks with an official about cause of death of Charlotte, strategy of how to take in the others.

Then this is just tentative, with me just going by what's been discussed and possible reactions from the characters. But for certain Charlotte is dead and Carwyn and [Holly/Noah] is taken. Which leaves Adam, Cassidy and [Holly/Noah] free.

Chapter 20 (Adam): They regroup and discuss those missing. Talk through their options and what they can do.
Chapter 21 (Cassidy): Maybe a friend of Charlotte's reaches out to them somehow through a note found in her bag/somewhere they saw which led the person to them as she was meeting them when she was taken, and they could agree to some blood tests or something in secret to see whether they could discover what they're being chased by WACH for.
Chapter 22 (Carwyn): Is forced to have tests done and they attempt to coerce him into leading them to the others.
Chapter 23 (Holly): (if taken) They attempt to make her agree to the tests and to tell them what they want by telling her they have her daughter but she told her husband to hide her before she met with the others (?)/Is introduced to Charlotte's dead body and is told their theorised cause of death for her, (if not taken) They meet up with the friend of Charlotte's and discover that something isn't right with their blood sample and that in one of them it looks potentially fatal (but maybe none were labelled to keep discretion and therefore they don't know who?).
Chapter 24 (Noah): (if taken) Is left in a recreational room with Carwyn and they talk, saying one or two things that shouldn't be said about the others, and is told about the tests that the other was subjected to.
Chapter 25 (Agent ?): The anonymous person contacts them and taunts them about how the others are staying ahead of them, making them infuriated.

Then we could get into our final 6/9/12 chapters. But before they're discussed, I think the ones above need to be agreed upon and altered accordingly.

I like the idea of Holly being taken. Presumably she has the most to lose, with her daughter and all, so I think she'd be the most willing to play along and give the WACH/agents what they want.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. She'd know that if she didn't cooperate then they could get to her daughter and she wants to protect her in any way possible. Also with her being taken and finding out that Charlotte's dead, she'd presumably be more willing to have the tests done so that they could find out what's wrong and help her because she wants to see her grow up.
