I'm going to pick Liam, simply because I know he has that protective trait. It works perfectly for a apocalypse story!
I can make two OCs, ugh. I was thinking of letting one of them die, but I don't want to do that to Niall or Louis.

Alright, so the story is going to be a for sure Zombie one? And where should this story take place? America or UK?

Okay, this makes more sense in my head, but I will try my best to explain it.
Whew...here it goes:

How I was thinking we share Louis and Niall is by them not having a romantic connection, that way it's simpler to follow for us. Because if they have a love interest it's double the work for whoever has two romances. Does that make sense?

As for the whole ex-girlfriend bit, I was just making a silly little suggestion for the story to have a little bit of drama there.

Yeah, instead of romance they could be just close friends or something like that and...you know...eventually die off...this is the zombie apocalypse we're talking about and it's not how you die, it's when. As depressing as that sounds haha.

You know what would be cool, making them regular guys who were like trying to become singers. The whole garage band kind of thing. What do you guys think?

Hey girls, I'm going to my friend's for the evening so my posts will be minimal until I get back to my house in the morning! I'm sorry I'm pretty easy going so you can probably assume I'd be okay with most things and I can catch up in the morning. Okay ladies, before we start tackling plot ideas and such, let's get some fundamentals worked out.

For starters, we still need a title and what point of view.

Titles I'm drawing blanks at the moment, but for point of view I'm fine with first or third person. I think third might be easier with so many characters, but first is always fun too cause we can centralize it to the view points of our OC's.

Well, since it's only just going to be us three, we can stick with first? I don't know, I'm OK with either first or third.
Maybe we should talk about all the characters that will be in the story before we decide on first or third.
