We can make it until the end

  • "Stop being so technical." Lottie mumbled, smacking his arm lightly. She knew that he was right though. Her mum probably would come looking for her, and the first place she would look was Harry's flat. Mainly because she was usually there more often than she was at her own flat. When she wasn't cracking down and studying for exams obviously. "We don't have to worry about that anyway. I won't be staying here for three days straight. I do need to get some studying done tomorrow." She pulled a bit of a face at the thought. She had an exam in less than forty-eight hours. She couldn't wait until the semester was over and she could finally relax for a little while. The winter intersession couldn't come fast enough.
"But you didn't." Liam argued. "You nearly did, but you didn't, and that's all that matters. You didn't let any of that come between us." He didn't think that she would ever realize just how much that all meant to her. He had been so sure that he'd lost her for good. And he still wasn't sure if this was just some sick dream that he would wake up from any minute now. "And I wanted to tell you do, but I didn't. We both were keeping things from each other, Freya. I'm just as much at fault as you are. Please don't beat yourself up over this." A small smile formed on his face when she said that she loved him. He'd been so sure that he would never hear her say that to him again. "I love you too, darling. So much." He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "You're right. We will work through this. We'll be fine."

  • Harry grinned to himself as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head, "You could always bring your books over and here to study" He murmured to him although they had already tried that once before, it didn't work because Harry couldn't keep his hands off of Charlotte so she didn't get much studying done. Though Harry had fun with his girlfriend, but he knew she wouldn't be doing that again especially with her finals coming up soon. "I could help you study" Smiling he new that also wasn't going to happen, he had been to the library with Lottie before to help her study and he ended up sitting in a corner with a book in his hands while Lottie did all the study she needed. He meant well and at least he thought about and offered to help her, he just never got far enough to actually help out.
Freya smiled softly as she moved her hands down his body and wrapped them around his waist, resting her head on his shoulder as she held onto him tightly. She nearly lost him and had even thought about going away with her parents, but just the thought of never seeing Liam again hurt her so she knew if she had left than she'd be miserable. "I shot you too, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt you but I had no idea it was you, are you okay?" She asked lifting her head so she could look at him, she noticed now that he hadn't even changed his ruined t-shirt. She pressed a soft kiss to where the bullet wound had been, making sure her lips touched the skin of his chest as the hole in his t-shirt was still open.

  • Lottie smiled, his words pulling fourth the memory of what had happened the last time she'd brought her books to his flat to study. The only thing she hadn't done that day was study. "I'm not taking biology or human anatomy this semester, so I don't think that would be much help." She teased, a soft laugh escaping her lips. "And as tempting as that sounds, I think we both know that I'm better off studying on my own." She thought it was really sweet how he offered to help her, however, she knew that he hadn't exactly helped her last time he'd offered to do so. She did appreciate it though, and it was, after all, the thought that counts.
Liam held her as close to him as he possibly could. He had no intention of letting her go ever again. He would never allow himself to nearly lose her like that again. The last couple of hours had been complete torture, and he didn't think that he would have been able to last much longer without snapping and doing something drastic. Something that he probably would have regret greatly. " 's alright. I've dealt with worse.' He shrugged slightly, smiling though when she pressed her lips to his chest. "Remind me not to let you near any lethal weapons though." He teased, chuckling softly.

  • "That sounds like a much better plan, although when you get stressed I'll pop over" Harry chuckled softly knowing that his girlfriend would know exactly what he meant by that, he enjoy watching Lottie relax after she's been stressing. He knew several ways to help her relax, "Maybe after you've finished with your exams, we could go on a road trip and explore some small towns together" He suggested knowing he wanted to take Lottie somewhere after her exams because she deserved it, "Or I could even take you out of the country if you want" He looked down at her, he had been around long enough that he had saved a very decent amount of money that he wanted to spend on the love of his life.
Freya couldn't stop herself from smiling at Liam's comment, "Well that's what you get for putting yourself in danger" She told him even though he could have easily defended himself against another vampire, it was her who had been in danger. "Never let me go, Liam. I never want to be apart from you again, it was horrible" She looked up at him and leaned closer to him, kissing his lips again she knew she wasn't going to be leaving his flat for at least a few days. She knew they could come across as clingy to other people, but the love she had for Liam was too strong to ignore.

  • "I'm going to hold you to that." Lottie said, laughing softly. She knew that she didn't have to hold him to anything though. When Harry said he was going to do something, he meant it. And she knew that he would probably stop by her flat, whether she was finished studying or not, to make sure that she wasn't stressing out too much. He always did. She smiled at his later words. "That sounds lovely." Her dark eyes widened slightly soon after. "Take me out of the country? I suppose that you've been to more places than you let on..." He'd always told her that he'd never been outside of the UK, but that was back when she thought that he was human. She had a feeling that she still had a great deal to learn about her boyfriend. Not that she minded. Her boyfriend was a vampire. She was ready for just about anything he told her.
"I wasn't aware that I was in any danger being around you, love. You look pretty harmless to me." Liam said, letting out a soft chuckle. Looks could be deceiving though, and he knew that for a fact. He often wondered if that was why all vampires looked the way that they did. He had never once come across one who wasn't attractive looking. Their looks were deceiving because one might see them as approachable because of them. Essentially, it was a way for them to lure in their prey before they struck. It was a terrible way of thinking, but he was sure that there was at least some truth in it. "I won't. You have my word." He kissed her back softly, pulling her small frame flush against his as he deepened the kiss slightly. "I love you so much." He murmured softly.

  • Harry laughed softly watching Lottie's beautiful dark eyes widen at his comment about taking her out of the country, "Yes I have been out of the UK many times. In fact I've been all around the whole world, numerous times actually. There are so many places that I can take you and that you'd adore, but we can start of slow and travel around the UK to get you started" He smiled wanting to take Charlotte all over the world so she can see everything that she could dream of, there was plenty of time for them to travel together but she did deserve some holiday after she had finished her exams. Harry wanted to take Lottie away so she could relax, go shopping, get her hair and nails done whenever she felt like it. They could go somewhere warm and go swimming and Lottie could tan beside the pool, there was so many things he wanted to give to her.
"Oh, I'm anything than harmless. I have many ways of hurting you" Freya smiled at him though she'd never actually harm Liam, she had one and she felt horrible about it still. Even if he had forgiven her, she would always remind herself of what she did. She sighed contently when Liam pulled her even closer to his body and deepened their kiss, she let her hands moved over his back feeling the muscles he had there. "I love you so much more" She smiled as she murmured quietly, he could argue with her all he liked about who loved each other more but Freya would always tell him that she loved him more. Though now she had a feeling that his love for her, was just as strong or even stronger than what she was feeling for him.
    March 6th, 2014 at 07:45am
  • Lottie smiled. She was happy. Happy because Harry didn't need to keep anything from her anymore. Happy because she had a feeling that their relationship was only going to be stronger than ever now. Happy because, well, simply because she was with him. "What are some of your favorite places?" She asked him curiously. She wanted to know more about him. About his life and what he'd been up to since he was turned. It was something that she was glad that he would now be able to share with her. Even though she knew that he had always been himself whenever he was around her, she knew now that he'd been holding back. She was sure that there were numerous occasions where he wanted to talk about all the places he had been but couldn't, and she didn't want him to have to hold back any longer.
Liam chuckled softly, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "I'm sure you do, darling. I'm sure you do." He said. He knew that she would never actually hurt him. He'd known the moment she shot him and he'd seen the look of horror on her face when she saw that it was him. Freya was a good person. She was kindhearted. She would never intentionally hurt him, and he doubted that she would ever actually do it to someone else. Unless, until recently, they were a vampire of course, but he was still trying to wrap his head around that concept. "Impossible." He murmured softly, shaking his head. "I don't think you realize just how much I love you."
    March 6th, 2014 at 12:16pm
  • Harry had been dreaming about this time when he could tell Lottie everything, though the way it happened hadn't been in his dream but that part was over with now so he didn't have to worry about it anymore. "I have two places that I love and will take you to one day, Paris and Rome. You'll love both and I also travel to Italy often" He smiled knowing that he'd be taking Charlotte to all three cities so she could experience that other countries have to offer, traveling was a way for any vampire to keep busy and to not draw any unwanted attention to themselves. People notice if a certain person doesn't age or change with time, so traveling overseas is easy to have a vacation and to work out where to go next. All vampires moved after a few years, it didn't matter if they had build a life for themselves in a certain town or city because they all knew they needed to move on before people noticed.
Freya smiled as she couldn't have been happier at that moment, she didn't want to think about Liam being a vampire or what her parent's would do when she didn't turn up at their house or if they ever did find out that Liam was a vampire. All that matter to her now was being with her boyfriend who she loved and didn't want to be without, it was a good thing that she hadn't planned for a time when Liam could meet her parents. "I think I realise now, just how much you love me. I know being around me wouldn't be easy for you all the time, but that doesn't stop you" She looked into his eyes wondering how he could even have that control, he was surrounded by the scent of her blood and she had even cut her finger once and he controlled himself. He wasn't like the vampires that she had been told about.
    March 7th, 2014 at 03:09am
  • Lottie smiled. "I'm sure they're both lovely places." She said quietly. She couldn't wait until she could actually speak firsthand about these things. She'd never really traveled much. If her family went on vacation, it was normally to the States for a week or two during the summer, so that they could visit her cousins in Boston. Other than that, she really hadn't been much of anywhere else. The thought of going to such beautiful cities like Paris and Rome with Harry made her smile. She would finally get to see a part of his life that he hadn't been able to share with her until now. That's when a thought dawned on her. His life was endless. He had all the time in the world, so he'd been to all of these places, but surely that meant that he didn't stay in one place for too long either. "How long do you normally stay in one place?"
"It was hard at first, but I've learned to keep it all under control." Liam told her honestly, giving his shoulders a slight shrug. It really had been a bit of a challenge at first, and that had honestly come as a bit of a shock for him. He'd never really had an insane amount of trouble with the bloodlust. He'd never been a Ripper or anything like that. But, when he was with Freya, it was suddenly a challenge. And it had been hard to maintain and keep under control in the beginning, but he'd learned how to deal with it. "I'm fine now. You don't have to worry at all." He assured her, a soft smile on his face. "I would never hurt you." He pressed a soft kiss to the tip of her nose.
    March 7th, 2014 at 03:29am
  • Harry knew this question was going to be brought up shortly, now he had to think about Lottie and not just himself. Before he had met her, he could travel whenever he wanted and move on to another city or town when he felt like it. But now he couldn't because Lottie would have a job once she was finished with university and she couldn't just pack up and move, it was something they'd have to talk about and work through though he was positive that they'd be fine. "Usually a few years I tend to stay, unless something happens or I just want to move. I have actually only been here for a month before I met you, although I've lived in London many times before" He explained to her as he buried half his face into her fruity smelling hair.
Freya would have apologized but she didn't because she didn't know that she was pushing his control, though he had never once slipped when she was around him and for that she loved him even more. She smiled at the affectionate kiss he gave to the tip of her nose, "I know you'd never hurt me. But if you do get any urges than please let me know, have you ever lost control before?" She asked in curiosity, she's never actually talked with a vampire before and now she wanted to know everything from a vampire's point of view. She wanted to know every single thing about Liam, which would probably take a few days but she had the time now.
    March 7th, 2014 at 07:32am
  • Lottie nodded. She had other questions too. Like, how was this all going to work? She would grow older, while he stayed exactly the same way he'd been since the night he'd been turned. Really, that was her biggest question. The others were smaller, much less important ones, that she'd ask along the way. "How is this all going to work?" She finally, sort of, just blurted out. She cringed soon after. She hoped that it hadn't come out the wrong way. "Not that it isn't working already or anything, because it is. Just--things are bit different now than they used to be. You're always going to look the same, and I'm going to start to get older, and just how is this going to work?" She cut herself off after that, figuring she'd already rambled enough today.
Liam nodded. "We all have moments of weakness." He said quietly. He wasn't some saint. Sure, he normally had more control than other vampires, but he'd gone through a few dark periods in his life. He'd never become a Ripper though, and he was thankful for that. If he had ever become one...well, he didn't think that he would ever be able to live with himself knowing what he had done. He still felt guilty about some of the things he had done in his past though. They were all things that he wasn't proud of in the slightest. "I'll let you know if I get any urges though, I promise." Maybe things would be easier for him now that she knew. He hoped that that would be the case.
    March 7th, 2014 at 02:16pm
  • Sighed softly Harry laid his head back against the pillow, his hand still rubbing along Lottie's bare back in a soothing motion. "Honestly? I don't know, love. I've never been in this situation before, I love you so much. We can work something out when the time comes, I'm not letting you out of my life Charlotte" He assured her the best that he could, he had no idea how things were going to work out between them. It would only be a few years until Lottie appeared older than him and there wasn't anything that he could do to change that, he wasn't about to turn her until she was a hundred percent certain that she wanted to be a vampire. She'd have to tell him and even then he'd still wait to make sure she didn't suddenly change her mind, because once it happened nothing could take it back.
Freya nodded her head lightly, "Are there more like you out there? I know that you said your friends were like you, do you know how many vampires can control themselves around humans? Are they just out there walking around like humans? Have I met any and didn't know?" She blurted out before she could go through the questions in her mind, sometimes her mouth just opened without her being ready. "I'm sorry, I'm curious. I've only ever been told about Rippers and vampires who don't care about humans, I've only been told the bad stuff and why we need to hunt them down" She knew that she was only this calm because of Liam, she loved him and would deal with him being a vampire as long as he was still in her life.
    March 8th, 2014 at 01:30am
  • Lottie nodded. "I love you too." She murmured softly. "And I'm glad to hear that. You can't get rid of me that easily." A small grin tugged at the corners of her lips. She knew that they would have to figure something out eventually. It would only be a couple of years before she began to look older than him. And the last thing she wanted was to eventually be mistaken for his older sister, or even worse, his mother. The thought made her cringe inwardly. Plus, she also knew that her parents would begin to question it too. But they didn't need to worry about that straight away. It had just been something on her mind that she'd wanted to get out there into the open, and now that she had, she knew that they would figure it all out in the future.
Liam's eyes widened slightly as she fired question after question his way. When she apologized, he couldn't help the soft chuckle that escaped his lips or the look of amusement on his face. He didn't mind all of the questions. He was sort of surprised that she hadn't asked him everything earlier. "It's fine, love. You have a right to be curious. The things that you learned, although true, only pertain to a certain percentage of the vampire population. There are others like me. I don't know how many can control themselves around humans. It takes years of practice and patience." He told her honestly.
    March 8th, 2014 at 01:56am
  • "I don't want to get rid of you, love. I'll keep you here with me, for as long as you want me" Harry smiled talking softly, he was now worrying about what would happen with them in a few years. He knew it was going to be hard on Charlotte, she was going to age and have a career which meant she couldn't just simply move to a different city very couple of years. It would be easier and safer for her to just forget about him, he wouldn't have to turn her if that's what she decided on. Hell she could also not even want to be a vampire, which would throw in something else to worry about when that time came.
Freya listened to what Liam was telling her, it was more difficult to listen to what he was saying considering she had grown up only knowing vampires as horrible blood thirsty monsters. But now she knew that wasn't always the case, "Just how old are you?" She asked knowing if he had the self control to never attack her or even have that urge, he had to be many years old though he was always going to look how he was now. She didn't have a problem with that because he was always going to be handsome, it would only be a problem when she grew older and he didn't.
    March 8th, 2014 at 06:50am
  • "For as long as I want you? Now you're making it sound like I'm going to stop wanting you at some point in the future. I love you, Harry...so fucking much." Lottie murmured softly, pressing a sweet, tender, kiss to his lips. She really couldn't imagine not loving him. Hell, she couldn't imagine not having him in her life. And she knew that it was probably crazy to think that way when she was only nineteen, but she knew that it was the truth. Harry had walked into her life when she least expected it, and turned her world completely upside down. She didn't think that she could ever go back to how things were before she'd met him. Of course, if she had to, she would try. She wouldn't sit back and sulk. She would continue to live her life, because she knew that dwelling on the past was never a good thing, however, she just couldn't imagine her life without Harry in it anymore. And sometimes it scared her.
"I've been frozen at nineteen for nearly four centuries, Freya." Liam said, pausing for a moment to let it sink in. He was sure that it would all be a lot for her to wrap her head around and get used to, so he didn't want to rush into things. He knew that if he were in her situation, his head would probably be spinning right now. "I was born in Wolverhampton in August of 1648 in the midst of the English Civil War. And I was turned nineteen years later in 1667, a few months shy of my twentieth birthday. It took it's toll on me. The bloodlust was almost unbearable, and at first I tried to continue living my life as I normally would have. I pretended I was still human, mainly because I couldn't fathom losing my family. It was just me, my parents, and my sisters at that point, and after seeing what had happened to numerous families, I just--I didn't want to leave them. I realized rather quickly that I had to though. It was for their own safety. So, I left. I never found out what they thought happened to me. I went as far away as I possibly could, and stayed away until I was sure they had all passed away."
    March 8th, 2014 at 04:35pm
  • Harry smiled contently against Lottie's lips as he kissed her, letting his lips linger a little longer as he never wanted to stop kissing her. "I know that you love you, but being with me could get hard later on and I wouldn't blame you if you decided to leave. I just want you to know that and keep that in your mind" He told her pressing his lips back against her's for a tender kiss, he didn't want her to say anything in return. He just needed her to know that for their future, "You also should know that it's going to be hard to get rid of me" He smiled as his green eyes ran over her face, he placed a soft kiss to the tip of her nose and then pressed his lips to her forehead.
Freya just stood there in her boyfriend's arms as she looked at him, she didn't bother saying anything as she tried to get get her head around all of this. She had thought he'd be much older than her but she hadn't been expecting him to be this much older, not that it mattered to her considering their lives were never going to be normal. She continued to listen to Liam's story and she suddenly felt horrible, after all this time she has seen vampires as horrible monsters which some of them are. But she never once thought about what they've had to go through because of what they had been turned into, they had to leave their loved ones and never see them again which is what upset Freya the most. "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that alone, I never thought of that side of a vampire before. Did the vampire who turned you just leave you there?" She asked softly.

  • [If my posts don't make any sense it's because I had some drinks when I got off work since we had company...Facepalm]

Lottie smiled. "I'm glad to hear that." She murmured softly, scrunching her nose up rather cutely when he pressed a kiss to it. A soft, content, sigh escaped her lips soon after. She was glad that Harry wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon, and she understood what he meant about things getting harder as more time passed, however, she sort of figured as much. She wasn't going to let that bother her too much. She would worry about it when the time came. For the time being, she was going to enjoy her life, and spend as much time with her amazing boyfriend as possible. Harry made her happy, and she'd never felt so strongly about anyone before in the past. She didn't think she would ever change her mind, however, she also knew that she really didn't know how she would feel a couple of years down the road. She was just going to live her life while she still had the opportunity to do so. Carpe diem. Seize the day and all that.
Liam's lips were set in a straight line. This was something that he didn't really talk about too often. It was like reopening an old wound. He hated thinking about all of it. How he'd been forced to leave his own family, and life, behind because of what he was. It really was for their own good though. If he hadn't left, well, he didn't know how safe they would have been. And the last thing that he'd wanted to happen was for someone he cared about to get hurt. He'd left for them. For their own safety. "I never found out who turned me." He said, slight bitterness to his words. "I was cornered in an alleyway, and I was sure I was going to die. I blacked out, and when I did wake up, I was who I am today."

  • [No, it all makes sense to me Cute]

Harry smiled contently as all he's ever wanted was right there in his arms, "Before I met you, I seriously thought I was going to stay alone. I thought no one could possibly love me, especially once I told them about what I really was. But than you bumped right into me and those thoughts vanished, none ever came back and it's all because of you giving me this chance to make you happy. I'm always going to be here for you Lottie, I'll do everything I can to make you happy" He whispered to her softly as he held her body in his arms securely, he couldn't believe that he could be this happy from just having her by his side but he was and nothing was ever going to change that.
Freya felt her heart break as she finally found out the pain Liam has gone through in his life, pain that she could never imagine going through. "I'm so sorry Liam, I know that it probably doesn't mean as much. But you'll always have me and I'm like family, if you want" She looked up at him meaning every single word she said to him, she now knew that he had no family and she wasn't sure what would happen with her own family. So they needed to stick together even more so now, "I wish I could take that pain from you. That's all I need to know for you, whenever you're ready you can tell me more" She assured him not wanting to pressure him to tell her what he's been through if he doesn't want to.

  • [Score! I don't know how I managed that. I guess it's good to know in case I decide to go out with friends and wait until the last minute to write a paper or something. XD]

"You've already done it." Lottie murmured softly. "You've made me the happiest girl alive, Harry. I'm so beyond lucky to have you in my life. You're one of the sweetest, most kindhearted, people I've ever met." She hated knowing that he'd had thoughts like that in the past. "It's impossible for people not to love you. If anyone's ever been stupid enough to pass you up, it's their loss. You're an amazing person. What you are doesn't define you. What you are doesn't matter to me, and it shouldn't matter to anyone else either." She knew that there were people out there who would think otherwise. Some people were just so closed minded that they only saw things in black and white, but she'd never seen things that way. And she didn't think that she ever would.
Talking about all of this was almost like reliving it all. At first, Liam had thought that the pain would subside with time, but it never did. Every single time he talked about it, it was like reopening a wound, but it was cutting deeper and deeper. He nodded wordlessly, and simply wrapped his arms around her petite frame tightly, pulling her close as he buried his face into the crook of her neck. "You don't need to do that. Just having you here, and knowing that you accept me for what I am, is enough, love." He murmured softly against her warm skin. He never wanted to let her go again, and he didn't think that he ever would. Even if she had a sudden change of heart, he would fight for her. He wouldn't let her go quietly.

  • [Yes you can!]

Harry smiled as he looked at his amazingly wonderful girlfriend as she spoke about him, "I still don't know how on earth I got so lucky to have you as my girlfriend. At first I even thought it was a sick joke because you're so perfect, Lottie. And don't even try to tell me that you aren't, because you are perfect to me and that's all that matters" He spoke softly to her not wanting to ruin the moment they were having like he usually did by being his cheeky self, he gently pulled her body even closer to his so he could pepper sweet kisses all around her face and neck. "I wouldn't say that I'm the sweetest or the most kindhearted person, I may be like that now but I haven't always been this way. Like all vampires, I've gone through my far share of dark times where I've hurt innocent people" He murmured to him knowing her to know that.
Freya held onto his body as tightly as she possibly could, now she knew that no matter how tight she held onto him it wouldn't hurt him. "I'm always going to accept you, Liam. I love you with all my heart and soul, you're stuck with me now and I'm not going anywhere without you. I'm your family and we can make a life together" She assured him as she could hear the pain in his deep accented voice, it hurt her knowing that it had been her question about his family that caused a wound to reopen for him. She pressed a light kiss to his shoulder as they stood there in each other's arms, "I'm never going to stop loving you, Liam Payne" She whispered to him.
