"Stop being so technical." Lottie mumbled, smacking his arm lightly. She knew that he was right though. Her mum probably would come looking for her, and the first place she would look was Harry's flat. Mainly because she was usually there more often than she was at her own flat. When she wasn't cracking down and studying for exams obviously. "We don't have to worry about that anyway. I won't be staying here for three days straight. I do need to get some studying done tomorrow." She pulled a bit of a face at the thought. She had an exam in less than forty-eight hours. She couldn't wait until the semester was over and she could finally relax for a little while. The winter intersession couldn't come fast enough.
"But you didn't." Liam argued. "You nearly did, but you didn't, and that's all that matters. You didn't let any of that come between us." He didn't think that she would ever realize just how much that all meant to her. He had been so sure that he'd lost her for good. And he still wasn't sure if this was just some sick dream that he would wake up from any minute now. "And I wanted to tell you do, but I didn't. We both were keeping things from each other, Freya. I'm just as much at fault as you are. Please don't beat yourself up over this." A small smile formed on his face when she said that she loved him. He'd been so sure that he would never hear her say that to him again. "I love you too, darling. So much." He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "You're right. We will work through this. We'll be fine."
