Harry gave his mate his normal dimple showing smile that he had given her the second his eyes landed on her at the cafe, he knew instantly that she was his mate and that they were meant for each other. She made his mind clear from all the darkness that had surrounded him, she made him feel human again and he became in touch with his emotions after such a long time ignoring them. At first he tried not to get close to her after all she was human and he was a vampire, he had heard many stories about vampires with human mates and how much hurt the human goes through. He wasn't sure if those stories were true or not, but it still scared him. Now he didn't care because his love for Lottie was too strong. "Well that's a very good thing, because I'm never going to let you out of my life or my arms. Wherever you go, I'm going to follow love" He whispered to her resting his forehead against her's gently.
Freya smiled as she turned her head to look at him, noticing that he was a few inches taller than her. "You'll have to go to New York, it's always so beautiful though the people there can be a little grumpy at times" She smiled happy that he had agreed to come on a walk with her, the butterflies in her stomach were still going crazy but it was nice because no guy had ever made her feel that before. She knew that they haven't known each other for long, but she wanted him to ask her out on a date. "You'll be a great tour guide, but you don't have to show me around per say as we could just walk and drive around. I'll still be able to see this place" She shouldn't have put him on the spot like that but she couldn't help it, she wanted to be around him and spend as much time with him as she could.

Although Lottie felt she and Harry had a fairly open and honest relationship, there were just certain things that she felt like she couldn't tell him. Or, rather, that he didn't need to know about. And Alex was one of those things. Well, one of those people, but it didn't matter. He was just a guy who had been in a couple of her classes at university. They'd worked on a project together during her freshman year, and well, he'd kind of had a thing for her ever since. Today had been a rather late night. With finals fast approaching, Lottie had been staying on campus much longer than she normally would have. She spent a lot of her free time, when she wasn't with Harry, studying subject after subject in the library. And today had been no different than the other days. She finished class and then went straight to the library. Today though, she'd kind of lost track of time. Before she knew it, it was time for the library to close, and it was already dark outside. She knew that she could have easily called Harry and asked him to come and pick her up, but she figured that she'd just walk back to her flat, and not tell him that this had ever happened. "Prinslow, wait up!" She heard someone call out to her as she started towards the street from the library. She glanced behind her, smiling slightly when she saw Alex. "Hey, I figured I was the only one still here." She said, letting out a soft laugh. "Nah, I had a paper for my psych class. Figured I'd get more work done here than in my flat." He explained, shrugging his shoulders. "Did you want a ride? You weren't planning on walking, were you?" She hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether or not to accept his offer. "Sure, why not." She finally said. She walked with him to his car, not really thinking anything of it and got in. It wasn't until they were both actually in the car that she started to feel a bit uneasy. "You should wear your hair down more often. Looks good on you." He commented, though he made no move to start the car and leave or anything like that. "Um, thanks?" Lottie wasn't really sure where he was going with any of this. "Not that you don't look good all the time. You look beautiful actually. Really beautiful." He breathed, and before she realized what was happening, his hand was resting on her thigh and he was leaning over. "Um, Alex what are you--I have a boyfriend." She tried to shift away. "What your boyfriend doesn't know won't hurt him." He winked at her, still not taking the hint.
"So I've heard." Liam said, chuckling softly. "It's definitely towards the top of my list of places to see." Of course he had been to New York and had noticed how a lot of the people acted there. He'd actually lived in New York for quite some time in the fifties. Not that he could really tell her any of that. He'd told her that he'd never really traveled much outside of London and Wolverhampton and he couldn't really explain how he'd been in New York during the 1950's without explaining the whole vampire thing. And he wasn't about to slip up and accidentally say anything stupid that may or may not give him away. He hardly knew her. And although he had a feeling that they had some sort of a connection, whether it was because she was his mate or not, he didn't really know if he could trust her or not with his secret. It wasn't the sort of secret that most people had. Sure, just about everyone had some sort of skeletons in their closets, but this was major. He doubted that there were many people out there who could say that they were a vampire, let alone one who had been around for nearly two centuries now. He doubted that she would even believe him if he tried to explain himself to her. "Alright, well, I'll do my best either way." He offered her a small smile. "It doesn't look like it's going to rain, so we can just walk if you'd like."

Harry had been waiting at Charlotte's flat for her to get home, he had brought over take out for them to eat while cuddling on the couch watching a movie. He was going to surprise her as she's been extra busy with studying for her finals, he wanted her to relax and enjoy a night without stressing or studying. But she still hadn't gotten back and something was telling him that it wasn't right, he had a bad feeling in his gut so he left her flat and started running towards the university using his vampire super speed so no one would notice him. It didn't take him long until he was standing in the parking lot, he saw a few parked cars that most likely belonged to teachers that were still busy marking papers. That's when he heard Lottie's voice ring in his sensitive ears and she was with another guy, he followed her voice to a car and pulled the door back from the driver's side. He bent the door with the sudden force, he grabbed the back of the guy's shirt and pulled him clean out of the car. "You keep those filthy hands off of my girlfriend, or I will make sure you never touch anyone ever again" He threatened the young boy who had been touching Lottie, his voice held a deep animalistic growl as he glared at the boy who was a boy compared to him. He glanced over to his girlfriend to make sure she was alright and unharmed, he hadn't realised that his normal green eyes had turned pitch black.
Freya had asked Liam to come over to her flat as they were dating now and she wanted to see him, though her dad had gotten her to come over for hunting practice and it had worn her out. Her dad had pushed her more than he usually does, plus she had gone on an actual hunt though no vampires had turned up so she hadn't gotten much sleep. Which is why she was fast asleep on the couch in her flat, she had given Liam a spare key for times like this so he could help himself inside. Her red hair was tied up in a messy bun as she had a shower as soon as she got home, she didn't want to be sweaty for when her boyfriend came over.

Everything happened so fast. One minute Lottie was practically being cornered in Alex's car and the next the driver's side door was being ripped open and Alex was being pulled out of the car with such force that she honestly couldn't fully process what was happening. It wasn't until she heard a familiar voice that she relaxed, though only slightly. Harry. How had he found her? How could he have possibly known to come to the campus, let alone that she'd be in Alex's car? The confusion was causing her not to pick up minor details such as the slightly bent state the driver's side door was now in, however, that lack in attentiveness only lasted for so long. And with her newfound attentiveness, the relief she'd felt moments before had been replaced. For, when she locked eyes with her boyfriend for the first time that day, she wasn't looking into a pair of familiar, vibrant, green orbs. No. She was looking into the eyes of what could only be described as a monster. What else was she supposed to think? There was nothing that could explain the darkness she was now staring into. A soft gasp escaped her lips, her eyes widening both in shock and fear. And she was frozen. She didn't know what to do as absolute terror coursed through her veins.

    line]

It was crazy how quickly, and easily, things could change. Liam had noticed a shift within himself the very first day he'd met Freya. There had just been something about her, something that he couldn't quite place at the time. And now he knew exactly what it was. She was his mate. He was completely and irrevocably in love with her. And he was able to call her his girlfriend now, something that he really couldn't have been happier about. Today, like most days, he was heading over to her flat to pay her a visit. She'd asked him to come over, and he'd happily obliged, though he hadn't exactly expected to walk in and find the gorgeous redhead sound asleep on the couch. He couldn't help the smile on his face, or the soft chuckle that escaped his lips. He walked over, after grabbing a blanket from the linen closet, and draped it over her petite frame before allowing his lips to ghost against her forehead.

Harry had been expecting Lottie to react how she was right now as she sat the car and watched him with wide fear filled eyes, although she hadn't started screaming yet which was nice. Turning his attention back onto the boy who was still laying on the hard ground, fear was radiating off him and that's what Harry needed. He needed this boy to be so scared of going near Lottie that he'd never bother her again, he blinked once changing his eyes back to normal as he towered over the boy. Grabbing the boy's arm Harry pulled him up onto his feet rather roughly but right now, he was in protection mode as he had to protect the love of his life and mate. "You'll get back into your car and drive home" He spoke softly to the boy although still with his threatening tone of voice, letting go of the boy he walked around the car opening the passenger side door more gentle now. Grabbing Lottie's bag he secured it over his shoulder before his arms wrapped around her back and under her knees, lifting her out of the car easily and gently setting her down onto her feet. "I can explain Charlotte, I know how scared and confused you are right now so let's get you home first" He spoke and looked like himself, the person that Lottie knew and loved but he wasn't sure if that was enough for her to continue on loving him.
Freya found herself dreaming of Liam as she slept on the couch, which wasn't unusual as he had entered her dreams since the day she spilled her smoothie down the front of his shirt. She still couldn't fully believe that she was dating the most handsome man to walk this planet, no one could compare to him because not only was he utterly gorgeous but he was also sweet and kind. He put people he cared about before himself, he was smart and humble and just everything Freya wanted in a boyfriend. They hadn't been dating for long but she had already considered when would be the perfect time for him to meet her parents, not that she'd be throwing him into that this quickly but she still wanted her parents to know the guy who had stolen her heart. She smiled feeling a blanket fall over her body and familiar lips barely touch her forehead, she stretched out her body slowly opening her eyes. "I want a better kiss than that" She smiled up at her boyfriend, her fingers wrapped around his hand before she gave him a gentle tug down towards her so she could kiss his lips.

Lottie was honestly still kind of in shock. But who could really blame her? She had no idea what she had just saw, and none of it was making any sense to her at all! She was silent, flinching a bit when she felt Harry lift her up and out of the car. She couldn't quite help it. What she had seen him a couple of minutes ago just wasn't her boyfriend. She didn't know who, or what, he was. She thought she'd known him fairly well, but clearly that wasn't the case. However, when she finally brought herself to look at him, she relaxed slightly, seeing the man she had fallen in love with. She nodded wordlessly, still in shock and at a complete loss for words. She didn't know what he was going to tell her, but she hoped that it cleared things up. Well, she knew that it would, but she didn't know if it would make the situation any better. She was sure that it would be a lot for her to take in at once no matter what he told her.
Liam had no intentions of waking his beautiful girlfriend up. Of course, he had no intentions of leaving her flat either. He would have occupied himself with something else until she woke up. She'd asked him to come over, and he'd done just that. Needless to say, he felt kind of bad when he realized that he had in fact woken her up. "If you insist, love." He chuckled quietly, a smile on his face as he allowed her to tug him down towards her. His lips met hers soon after and lingered there for a few moments before he pulled away. "I didn't mean to wake you. You can go back to sleep if you'd like. You look exhausted." He could tell that she was completely knackered, though he really didn't know why. This wasn't the first time he'd come over and found her in a state like this though.

Harry felt her flinch lightly when he lifted her up which was understandable considering what she had just seen, he carried her bag as he rested his hand on the small of her back. He guided her away from the campus and through the streets towards her flat, he would have prefer to have prepared himself before this happened but it was way too late for that now. She had seen his eyes and what he did to the car door so he needed to tell her, in a way that he didn't want to but he couldn't change it now. The walk was silent as Harry gave Lottie time to get her thoughts together before he poured out his words and told her what he really was, a lump formed in his throat as he walked beside a silent Lottie. He had been in a daze so he didn't noticed he had walked into the flat until Lottie shut the door, "Please come sit down" He took her hand into his guiding her over to the couch, he sat beside her letting his face soften and relax to hopefully remind her of he was still was. "This will be hard to believe and you probably won't believe me, but I am telling you the truth Charlotte. What you just saw was me, it's how I really am. I've been keeping this secret from you and lying to you, I'm a vampire" Harry said looking into Lottie's stunning warm brown eyes as he let his words sink into her head.
Freya smiled brightly as she pressed her lips to his, feeling the butterflies consume her stomach as their lips lingered and melted together. She didn't even care about being woken up which she always usually did hate, but seeing Liam there and knowing he was all her's put a smile on her face. "No I'm glad that you woke me up, I'm tired but I'll just have an early night" She pushed herself up into a sitting position on the couch and yawned softly as her hand covered her mouth, "How has your day been so far?" She asked him moving on the couch so he could sit down beside her if he wanted, she brushed some hair that had fallen out of her bun away from her face. "I'm glad that you came over, I just want to spend time with you" She looked up at him as she wanted to be in his arms, all the hunting and training was taking a toll on her. She wanted to tell Liam the truth but knew that she couldn't, he wouldn't understand and then he'd think she was crazy and leave her.

Lottie was kind of relieved that he wasn't really talking much on the walk back to her flat. She was honestly just trying to process what she had saw back in the parking lot, though it wasn't really working out too well. It just didn't make any sense to her. Had she really been seeing Harry back there? Was that monster with the pitch black eyes, and near animalistic expression on his face, really her sweet, caring and loving, boyfriend? She really didn't know what to believe. So, she remained silent even once they had reached her flat, allowing him to lead her over to the couch where she sat down. She looked to him, waiting for what would hopefully be a logical explanation. However, the logical explanation never came. She couldn't help the bitter laughter that escaped her lips. "You can't be serious right now." She mumbled, shaking her head. Did he think she was an idiot? Was he crazy? When she looked at him, she could tell that he was being completely serious, and that honestly kind of made her sick to her stomach. "Vampires don't exist, Harry."
Liam still felt bad for waking her even though she was happy that he had. It was clear that she was tired, though he didn't know why she was, and he knew that she could use the extra sleep. "You're sure?" He asked her, raising an eyebrow. "Because, you can go back to sleep if you'd like. I was going to stay anyway." Even though they had only been dating for a short while now, he still worried about her a lot. Even when it was something small like her being tired and needing extra sleep. He was just protective of her he supposed and maybe he worried a bit too much at times, but it was because he cared about her a lot. "Fairly uneventful until now." He smiled at her before taking a seat on the couch, an arm wrapping loosely around her shoulders. "I want to spend time with you too, love." He pulled her small frame closer to his, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "Enough about me. How was your day? Fairly eventful I'm assuming?"

Harry looked at Lottie keeping his face serious, his heart received a tear when she laughed at him after he told her his deepest secret. "Yes vampires doe exist, Charlotte. I was turned when I was turned into a vampire when I was nineteen, the year I was born was 1830 so I'm a hundred and eighty one" He explained to his girlfriend who would hopefully believe him, looking at Lottie it was obvious that she wasn't believing what he was telling her and why should she? If their situations were changed than he wouldn't believe that she was a vampire, he also would have laughed at her. So he did the only think that he could to make her believe him, he closed his eyes for a second and when he looked at her again his eyes were black. Parting his lips just enough for his sharp pointed fangs to peak through, "I know that I'm a monster Lottie. But I will always love you and protect you, I'll understand if you need some time alone" He spoke softly making his eyes go back to green and his fangs to retract back up into his gums.
"I'm sure, I don't want you to get bored being here alone if I sleep more" Freya knew he just want her to make sure she was okay which she was now, she loved how he always thought about her before anyone else. He made her feel wanted and loved which is all she wanted, she smiled letting him pull her closer to him. Leaning into his side she rested her head on his shoulder, curling her legs up onto the couch behind her. "Well now it won't be uneventful, you have me to keep you occupied now. My day has been so busy, I worked late last night with Dad and than he called me at 6 in the morning saying I was needed again. You know how I'm not a morning person, he's been doing this a lot lately and it's starting to wear me down" She told him softly as she relaxed completely against him, just enjoying that he was right there with her when she needed him to be.

Lottie just couldn't wrap her head around any of this. All she'd wanted to do was go home and curl up on the couch with her boyfriend, and then everything with Alex had happened and she was now finding out something about her boyfriend that just had to be impossible. Harry wasn't a vampire. He couldn't be a vampire. "Do you realize how insane this all sounds, Harry?!" She all but exclaimed. Her voice was strained and she was looking at him incredulously. She watched him closely, a startled gasp escaping her lips, and her golden eyes widening when she saw him transform before her very eyes. That shouldn't be possible. This was insane, but there was no other way he could be doing what he was doing, could there? She didn't want to believe that he was a vampire, but what other explanation did she have? "I'm sorry. I just--I need some time alone." She said quietly as she got to her feet. "You should go." Without another word she headed down the hall to her bedroom.
"I would never get bored, love." Liam told her honestly. And he was being completely truthful with her. Even if she was sleeping, and he was doing absolutely nothing, he wouldn't be bored. Because, for the first time in a very long time, he didn't feel alone. For the longest time now he'd been searching for his mate, and now he'd finally found her. And he could see why the lads were all so happy with theirs. He was no longer alone. And he was the happiest that he'd been in a very long time. He chuckled softly at her later words. "I suppose you're right." He said, grinning slightly. "Does he know how draining this is on you?" He asked, worried about her.

This is what Harry had been scared about and how it was happening right in front of his eyes, she wanted nothing to do with him not that he blamed her of course. He would have done the exactly same thing, he watched as his girlfriend walked down the hall to her bedroom which he had followed her down so many times. He sighed heavily through his nose as he stood up from the couch, turning he headed towards the front door of Lottie's apartment and walked through it making sure it was shut securely behind him. He felt the tears welled up behind his green eyes as he walked away from the love of his life, he'd give her as much time as she needed to think this through and deal with it. Not that he liked having space between them considering that boy could easily ignore what he had told him and go to comfort her, he hadn't compelled the other boy as he was more interested in getting Lottie out of the car.
Freya smiled knowing that her boyfriend would have found something to do while she slept, but she didn't want to sleep now that he was there at her flat. She wanted to spend all of her time with him, "I know you wouldn't get bored, but I'm awake now and I get want a cuddle" She told him as she could always relax when he was around, lately she has been uptight and constantly thinking about hunting. But when Liam was with her nothing else mattered to her, all she cared about was him and she loved how he had that affect on her. "I don't think he does, I've tried to tell him but he either doesn't listen to me or he doesn't want to listen to me. I'm sure he'll ease up on me soon, he just has a business deal that he needs to close" She explained to him although this business deal was that he had some leads on a small group of vampires that were living in town.

Lottie had been extremely distracted over the course of the last couple of days. She honestly couldn't tell you what topics had been covered in any of her university classes. Although, she was pretty sure it was review of old topics in preparation for finals. The fact of the matter was that she'd pretty much been in a daze since Harry had left her apartment that night. She was conflicted. She still didn't fully know what to think. Harry was a vampire. Her boyfriend was a vampire. How could she even begin to fathom this news? This wasn't something that people heard everyday. However, the fact that he was a vampire wasn't really what was troubling her. I know that I'm a monster, Lottie. Her boyfriend's words rang loud and clear in her mind. But was that really true? Was Harry a monster? Because, the boy that she'd come to know over the course of the last couple of months was anything but a monster. He was charming and sweet and caring. Were those qualities that a monster possessed? She didn't think so. And as she laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling blankly for who really knows how long, that was when it dawned on her. Harry was a vampire, but that didn't make him a monster. He'd saved her the other night when Alex had been forcing himself on her. He did nothing but protect her. And with those thoughts in mind, she quickly stood, slipped on her shoes, and headed out of her flat.

Her feet couldn't carry her fast enough. She'd been to Harry's on a couple of different occasions, though they usually spent their time at her flat when they weren't out doing something in the city. She, thankfully, had a decent memory, and was able to find the apartment building rather quickly. Heart pounding as she waited in the elevator, she reached the desired floor and headed to his apartment, knocking on the door repeatedly.
Liam chuckled softly at his girlfriend's words. She was sometimes just far too adorable even for words. "Your wish is my command." He said, pressing another kiss to the side of her head. He was perfectly content with staying in and relaxing with his gorgeous girlfriend. In fact, he really couldn't ask for anything more. He didn't need to take her out and wine and dine her, although he liked to do that too, because he really just loved spending time with her. And he was almost positive that the feeling was a mutual one. He nodded at her later words, a slight frown tugging at the corners of his lips. He really did worry about her sometimes. He didn't understand how her father couldn't see how physically and emotionally draining all this work was for her. He could see it clear as the light of day. Of course, maybe he was just more in tune to how Freya was feeling and acting. He didn't know, but whatever the case was, he still worried about her. Maybe a bit too much at times. And he would continue to worry about her no matter what.

"If he doesn't, you should try talking to him about it again, love. You shouldn't wear yourself out like this. It isn't good for you." His tone held extreme sincerity. He wasn't trying to be smothering or overly protective of her, though he couldn't quite help it at times because she was his mate. And he had been searching for her for decades now. He just didn't want something to happen to her. Though he knew that overworking herself wouldn't cause anything extreme to happy, he still worried.

Harry hadn't left his apartment since he arrived there after telling Lottie about what he was, he hadn't bothered to drink any blood and he was hardly sleeping. He had been sitting in front of the TV most of the time but he wasn't actually watching the shows that were being played, he wasn't being his normal self because he didn't feel like himself with Charlotte by his side. He had found himself numerous times on the verge to call her but always backed down at the last second, he knew all too well that she needed a few days to think about what she had been told and what she had seen. But the last few days have felt like months to Harry and not knowing how his girlfriend was feeling was driving him crazy. He had bags under his eyes, the green in his eyes wasn't vibrant or bright and his curly hair was untamed and flat. Hearing a knock on the door to his apartment, he slowly made his way over and opened the door expecting to see one of his friends who was there to cheer him up. But then his eyes landed on the one person he hadn't expected to see, his body straightened up as he stared at his girlfriend in surprise.

"Lottie... please come in" He stepped aside holding the door open for his beautiful girlfriend, suddenly all the hope in the world filled his body and heart. She could very well be there to break up with him, or she could be there to talk about this because she still loves him. He made a silent prayer that she was there to talk to him, he was never going to stop loving her. "Can I get you a drink or a snack?" He offered looking at her, she too didn't seem like the usual happy, bubbly girl that he was used to seeing every single day. This had taken a toll on both of them.
Freya couldn't have been happier at the moment, she scooted around on the couch to make herself even more comfortable. She stayed leaning into Liam's body but had brought her knees up closer to her body, she loved how they didn't need to be constantly doing things together. Sure they went out on dates and had fun, but sometimes she just wanted to have a cuddle with him while they watched movies. "I'll talk to him tomorrow about it, I promise and then I'll call you straight away" She moved her head back slightly so she could look up at him, the way he cared about her and made sure that she was okay constantly made her heart melt. "I don't know what I've done to deserve you, you have no idea how truly happy I am that I bumped into you that day. I'm so lucky that you wanted me, as much as I wanted you" She smiled at him looking into his stunning warm brown eyes that she first noticed about him, there wasn't anything about Liam that she didn't like.

Leaning up closer to him, she pressed her lips to his for another kiss though she let this one linger longer than usual. She couldn't help herself, she found herself wanting to kiss him at the most random times, nothing was stopping her now and if she wanted to kiss him than she did.

Lottie felt as though she had so many things to say, but no actual idea of how to say them. She nodded wordlessly and stepped into his flat, still honestly at a complete loss for words. "No thank you." She said quietly. How was she supposed to go about this? It wasn't every day that one learned that their boyfriend was a vampire, let alone that vampires even existed. That wasn't the issue though. Lottie had at least somewhat come to terms with the news. Harry had saved her. He wasn't a monster. How could she have ever seen him that way? Yes, she had been terrified when he first really showed her who he was, but she knew that, despite that, if he really was a monster, he wouldn't have saved her. He would have hurt her already. And he hadn't.

Really getting a good look at him now, she could honestly say that she'd never seen him in this sort of a state before. He looked exhausted. She didn't know if it was physically or emotionally, or maybe both, but she did know that she was just as exhausted as he was. All the thinking she had been doing had rendered sleep next to impossible. She was completely drained. And seeing him in a similar state to what she was in, made her feel horrible and undeniably guilty. Guilty because she'd actually for a split second thought that he would hurt her. That she'd actually for a moment thought that he was a monster. "I'm sorry." She whispered almost inaudibly. Her dark eyes glistened with unshed tears as they bore into his emerald ones.
Liam nodded, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He was just relieved and happy to hear that she would talk to her father about it. He didn't know if she would actually get through to him or not, but he hoped that she would. He knew that he worried about her far too much sometimes, but he really couldn't quite help it. He cared about her far too much to just stop worrying about her suddenly and altogether. In fact, he didn't think that he'd ever stop worrying about her, because she was his mate and there wasn't likely anything that was ever, or could ever, change that fact. "I think you've got it reversed, love. If anyone doesn't deserve the other, it's me. You're far too good for me, Freya. I've known that for quite some time now. And I've known one other thing as well." He paused for a moment, unsure of whether or not to tell her.

He didn't get the chance to say it though because her lips were soon on his. He smiled and obliged happily, kissing her back sweetly. And when he pulled away, any sort of hesitation or uncertainty that he'd felt moments before was gone, and he knew exactly what he had to say to her. He'd known for a while now, but had been worried that he would scare her off because it was too soon or something. "I love you." He murmured softly, his dark eyes locking with hers as he rested his forehead against hers.

Harry knew just by looking at Charlotte that she was feeling exactly the same way as him, neither had been sleeping and both hadn't been eating or drinking in his case. He knew the timing was horrible considering Lottie should be preparing for her finals, her mind should be focusing on her studies when she hasn't been because she's been thinking about him being a vampire. Confusion formed on his face as he frowned softly at her, "Sorry? What are you sorry for, darling? I should be apologizing to you, I should have told you sooner and not right before your finals" He spoke softly to her watching as her beautiful hazel eyes filled with tears, he hated seeing Lottie upset or cry because he always wanted to teach the person who hurt her a lesson but now he was that person and his heart broke because of it.

"I never meant to scare you Lottie, I had wanted this to go so differently but than I could feel something was wrong. I knew you'd be at the library so I went there and... I heard what he said to you and I saw his hand on your thigh, only I'm allowed to touch you there. I lost it and needed to protect you" He explained to her hoping she would somewhat understand what had gone through his mind that night, he gazed into her hazel eyes and he just wanted to kiss her tears away before they rolled down her cheeks. "I would never hurt you, I hope you can trust me on that. I love you Charlotte and nothing is ever going to change that for me, I know this is a lot to deal with and if you can't than I'll understand" He assured her not wanting her to feel bad about breaking up with him, he wanted her to love him and want to be with him but he wasn't going to put pressure on her.
Freya couldn't help but giggle and shake her head at Liam's comment, she wasn't anything special and in her eyes she was always going to be the lucky one between them. But she did like how he fought her on it, it made her feel wanted which is all she needed. She knew from their first date that she was going to need Liam in her life, he made her feel safe and protected. Like nothing could happen to her while he was around her, she had a barrier surrounding her body that only her boyfriend could get past. She wouldn't know what she'd do if he ever left her, he made her happy and was the reason she hadn't already given up on everything. Hunting and the practicing was harder than she first thought, Liam was always there encouraging her and cheering her up even if he didn't actually know what she was doing.

She slowly opened her eyes after their lips parted and as she rested her forehead against his, hearing those three little words made her world complete. She couldn't wipe the wide smile off of her as she looked into the eyes that she loved, "I love you too, more than anything else" She whispered to him feeling her heart burst with so much love for him, she's never felt this way before but she was glad she was feeling it now with Liam.

"For letting you think that you're a monster, and for even a split second, thinking that that might have even been true." Lottie said quietly, her eyes still glistening with tears. He was the farthest thing from a monster. She didn't know how she could have possibly begun to think that of him. It had been a very brief thought, but she knew that it still crossed her mind. And she hated herself for that. How could she have possibly even slightly thought that about him? How could he possibly be a monster when he made her the happiest that she had been in a very long time? Yes, he was a vampire, but he wasn't a monster. Those were two completely different things. At least, in Harry's case they were.

"You're not a monster, Harry. You're the farthest thing from that. I know that you would never hurt me, and I know that I can trust you. I'm so sorry for shutting you out the way that I did. I was confused, and I just--I didn't know what to think. But I know now. I don't care what you are, Harry Styles. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I love you so much." Her voice cracked slightly at the end.
Liam grinned widely, hearing her adorable laughter. He would never get tired of hearing her laugh. As cheesy and cliche as it probably sounded, it was one of the most beautiful sounds he had ever heard in his entire immortal life thus far. And to make things even cheesier, she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen before, and he knew that he would never grow tired of her. Because, despite only knowing her for a couple of months now, he just knew. She was his everything, and would always be his everything. Nothing and no one could ever change that fact. He was hopelessly in love with her, and he knew that there was no possible way for him to reverse or change that fact either. Not that he would want to change it. That was the last thing in the world that he would ever want to change.

The grin on his face only seemed to widen at her words. He'd been so worried about scaring her off in some way. He didn't want her to feel pressured in any way at all. He didn't want her to think that she had to say it to him or that she had to feel this way about him already, but now, actually hearing her say it, he really didn't know why he had any doubts at all. Without saying another word, he pressed his lips to hers once more, his lips moving passionately against hers.

Harry hadn't been counting on Lottie to actually still want to be with him after she knew what he was, she was the love of his life, she was his mate and nothing would come between them as he wouldn't let it. Everything about her were things that he loved greatly, from her laugh to the way she twirled her hair around her finger when she was concentrating. How her hazel eyes wrinkled when she smiled and laughed, she was his everything, she was his entire world and he didn't want to continue living if she wasn't right there beside him. "Are you sure about this, love? I don't want you to regret this and then end up hating me, I love you more than anything else in this world. My heart belongs to you and has the second I laid eyes on you" He wanted her to know just how strongly he felt for her, just how much love his cold heart held for her.

"I'd do anything and everything for you" He whispered to her as he took a step forward, closing the gap that was in between them. His hands going straight to her small waist as he leaned down, pressing soft kissed to her eye lids then he kissed each of her cheeks. "Please don't be upset, my love. I still consider myself a monster, I have done many things in my past that would scare you and I regret what I have done." He whispered to her gently giving her waist a squeeze, he would always see himself as a monster because in his eyes he was.
A weight was lifted off of Freya's chest once she told Liam that she loved him, she didn't have to think about it because she knew weeks ago that she had fallen in love with him. She wasn't afraid to tell him how she felt and she'd tell him every single day to make sure that he knew it, she also just wanted to tell him that she loved him because the words flowed from her lips easily when he was around. Her cheeks were beginning to become sore from how much she was smiling, but right now she didn't care because her boyfriend loved her and had told her. Her eyes fluttered shut as his lips were against her's again, this time the kiss was different from every other time they have shared a kiss. Her lips moved perfectly with his and the passion in their kiss made her head dizzy, she couldn't think straight.

Placing her hands on the sides of his neck to keep him in place, a soft moan sounded from her throat as she had never experienced a kiss like the one Liam was giving to her now. She never wanted to stop kissing him, she wanted this moment to last forever which it wouldn't but at least she could replay it in her mind as she'd never forget this special moment she was sharing with the man she loved.

Lottie could tell that he was surprised by her words. Why, she had absolutely no idea. Did he think that she was going to break up with him? She might have been conflicted for a couple of days, but that didn't mean her feelings for him had changed. She loved him, and she had a feeling that she always would. There was just something with Harry that was nothing like she had ever experienced before. Things with him were different. She'd never felt so strongly about anyone else. "I've never been so sure about anything else in my entire life." She said honestly, her voice soft. "I could never hate you, love. I love you far too much for that to even be a slight possibility."

She didn't care that he was a vampire. For a little while there, she had had her doubts, but didn't everyone at least have their doubts about something in their life? But, now she knew that that didn't matter. It didn't matter because she loved him, and she knew that he was never going to hurt her. "You saved me, Harry. Monsters don't do things like that. And even if you did do terrible things in the past, you're different now. I can tell. You're a good man."
Liam didn't think that he could remember a time in his immortal life that he'd felt happier. He'd experienced so many different and amazing things but there was nothing in comparison to hearing the woman that he loved say it back. He hadn't expected anything different out of this visit than the ones prior. Normally, he would go over to her flat, they'd cuddle on the couch and watch some TV or a movie, and when she fell asleep, he'd carry her to her room, press a soft kiss to her forehead, and then leave. But tonight was different. Tonight he had finally told her how he'd been feeling about her for quite some time now. And, better yet, she felt the same exact way.

He smiled against her lips, holding her close to him as he kissed her. He could sense her slight surprise and he knew it was because he had never kissed her this way before. He'd always been careful with her, afraid that if he did something wrong she might break. That's how vampires saw humans though. Delicate and fragile, and in comparison to vampires, that was precisely correct. After a couple of moments had passed by, he pulled back, a wide grin on his face as he looked down at the woman he loved. He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to the tip of her nose.

Harry didn't even know what to say to Lottie right now, so he let his hand cup her soft cheek in his palm as he looked into her eyes. "You are way too understanding for your own good, love. I am so lucky to have you and have you still love me" He leaned down closer to his girlfriend and kissed her soft inviting lips that he loved so much, he let the strong love and passion flow through the kiss to Charlotte as he needed her to know and feel how he was feeling towards her right now. "I love you more than anything Lottie, you are my world and if I didn't have you than I'd be nothing" He murmured against her lips as his other arm wrapped around her small waist, gently pulling her closer to him which still wasn't close enough for him but it would do for the time being. He gently brushed the tip of his nose to Lottie's before resting their foreheads together, "I never thought this would ever happen, I always thought you'd leave me and not want anything to do with me. It's not everyday that you find out your amazing boyfriend is a vampire" He cheekily called himself amazing.
Freya scooted herself closer to Liam, "Wow... you've been holding out on me, now that I know how amazing you can kiss. I want kisses like that all the time" She smiled at him brightly causing her dimples to form in her cheeks, "I've never felt this happy before, it feels like my heart can't hold anymore and then you do something to make me love you even more" She whispered to him looking into his eyes, it felt like now she had Liam at her side she could do anything and everything without having to worry or be scared. They were one now, one against the world. They'd be hand in hand as they took on everything that would come their way, but she knew nothing would break them apart because of the strong love they held for each other.

Lottie was rather surprised to see her normally confident and witty boyfriend was nearly speechless. "I could never stop loving you, Harry. You're definitely stuck with me." She murmured softly, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She reacted almost instantly when he kissed her. Although it had only been a few days since she had last seen him, it had honestly felt like an eternity, and she wasn't about to deny the fact that she had missed him. And as she kissed him, she realized something. This kiss stood out amongst all of the other kisses that they had shared. It was almost like he'd been holding back in the past, but he wasn't anymore. And she was rendered completely breathless when he pulled away. She smiled softly as she looked into the familiar pair of emeralds that she'd been captivated by from the very first moment that she looked into them. "How could I ever leave you? I love you far too much to do anything like that. And I'm pretty sure that it shows considering the fact that I'm still here despite cheeky comments like that one." Her tone was light and teasing. For the first time in days she felt like she could relax and truly be herself again.
Liam couldn't help chuckling at his girlfriend's words. "Maybe I have. Or maybe I'm a terrible kisser, and just got lucky a bit ago." He said jokingly. A slight grin tugged at the corners of his lips as he looked down at her. "You make me feel like the luckiest man alive. I can honestly say that I've never felt like this about anyone else." He murmured softly. He wished that she could know just how important that statement was. If only she knew just how long he'd been alive and realized just how much she truly meant to him. He knew that she would need to know the truth eventually, but they had only been dating for a couple of months now, and he didn't want to scare her off. He didn't know how she would react when she found out that he was a vampire. He hoped that she would be alright with it, and he would give her as much time as she needed because he loved her. She was the most important person in the world. She was his world. And he never wanted to lose her. Ever.
