A Very Furry Love

Lucas didn't wake up until pretty late the next morning, noticing Vincent was still asleep to -and appeared to have a bruise where Aza had attacked him. Lucas winced, knowing he and Jordan were going to get it today because it was extremely unlikely she would forget.

"Thank you," Alixx ruffled his hair as she got up, shaking her head when he just rolled over to go back to sleep. Then she headed into the kitchen in search of caffeine.

Aza woke up a bit later than usually though she was still up before Rachel. She headed out of the room and to the kitchen where she found Alixx looking arounf. She let out a loud yawn before sticking her hand in the cupboard and grabbing what she needed for the coffee machine. "Morning Alixx." She mumbled after she was done yawning. Maybe she should just head back to bed.

Jordan could sleep in all day if everyone would let him. So he continued to sleep soundly without a peep.

"You sound like you're up too early," Alixx smiled at Aza. "Did you not sleep well?" She figured Aza and Lucas felt like they were in Hell since they didn't have anyone to cuddle with... she didn't include Jordan in that since the guy could -quite frankly- sleep anywhere, and he'd ended up cuddling with her anyway besides. Alixx found the bottled water then, opening it and taking a drink from it.

Lucas ended up getting up after a while of just staring at the ceiling, heading downstairs. Without realizing it, a smile had crept onto his face at the sound of Aza's voice, and was still there as he headed into the kitchen, finding Aza and Alixx there. "Hey girls," he said.

"No I didn't sleep well. Well at least not as well as I normally do." Aza said as she moved over to the table and laid back, closing her eyes for a moment. She always slept better when someone was with her. Though that was not something that was going to be able to happen while she was up in the mountains with her friends. They would not really understand the whole situation so it was better to just avoid it. When Aza heard Lucas' voice, a smile moved over her lips. She opened up her eyes, looking up at him brightly. "Morning." Just seeing Lucas seemed to wake her up a bit.

Alixx nodded, as if she'd expected an answer like that. As Lucas walked in, she gave him an odd look at the smile he had plastered on his face. "Morning..." she said. She took another, long drink from her water bottle as she headed over to the table where Aza had sat down, though she paused at the sight of the smile Aza had all of a sudden gotten as well. Now, Alixx didn't understand the wolves in some areas, but she understood people well enough, and that included wolves... Aza and Lucas had mended things a little while back, and she'd never seen them just smile at each other like that, or look so happy for that matter.

"Morning," Lucas smiled, mainly at Aza admittedly...

From there, it didn't take a lot to connect the dots. Her eyes widened. "You two are dating now, aren't you?!" she asked, maybe a little more loudly than she should've with everyone else still being presumably asleep. "Don't try to deny it; anyone with eyes can see those smiles you two have plastered to your faces!"

Aza immediately snapped out of her smilely state and turned to Alixx with wide eyes. It wasn't like she was ashamed with their relationship but she knew that she did not want the other wolves to know until they were serious about it. It was just that when wolves got in any relationship it was automatically assumed that they had found 'the one'. Wolves mate for life and they had to find their true mate. So she didn't want the pressure from the pack about any of that. Though Alixx on the other hand probably wouldn't pressure them about it too much. But could she keep a secret? "So you think we're dating because we are smiling at each other?" Aza asked Alixx. She wondered if she could convince her that they were not. Worse though she wondered if her and Lucas were even capable of hiding this from the pack.

Alixx gave Aza a look. "You two smile at each other plenty. You don't usually give each other great goofy grins," she pointed out. "Besides, everyone knows you're angry about last night." She looked at Lucas. "Sorry, but.... She wouldn't usually be so happy to see you usually after something like last night."

Lucas sighed, glancing over at Aza, wondering what she wanted to say to Alixx.... Finally he just shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, you're right," he said. He went over and sat down beside Aza. "Listen Alixx, you can't say anything-"

"Why would I? You two will tell everyone if or when you're ready. Besides, they think someone's found their mate every time anyone partners up. And while it does happen... It's really not fair to pressure everyone about it." Alixx shrugged. "I was just surprised, to be honest..."

Aza instantly calmed down when Alixx said that she would not tell the others. She just didn't want all that pressure put on them already. So she turned to Lucas, giving him a little smile before looking back at Alixx. "Thank you." Her hand then moved to Lucas'. She moved her fingers in between his and held onto him gently. "Though if we do not want the others to find out we are going to have to hide it a bit better than this Lucas."

Lucas squeezed Aza's hand gently as she took his hand. "Yeah, I know..." he sighed. "I guess for the entire day, I'll have to pretend to be afraid you're going to do something to me... which shouldn't be too hard since you did say you're still upset with me and Jordan." It was going to be easier here than when they got back too -of that, he was almost certain.

Alixx smiled a bit as she saw them, sitting down with her bottle of water. "Would you guys do me a favor? When I decide I find someone I want to date, remind me never to let him come over, no matter what. I'm afraid of what'll happen to him if it happens."

"Well I wouldn't say mad exactly but I am Definatey going to punish you too for doing that." Aza told him as she suddenly pulled her hand out of his, her muscles tensing up. "It was extremely irresponsible of the two of you to do that! I almost knocked out poor Vincent and I know he has a bruise now. Plus I almost hurt Jordan too." She snapped a little before lowering her voice in a hushed but angry whisper. "And I shifted because I thought we were in danger. We were almost found out!"

Lucas had the grace at least to look sheepish -and sorry- as he rubbed at the back of his neck. "Yeah, Jordan and I didn't think that one through too well... it was only snowballs though. It wasn't as if we were trying to hurt you guys..." he defended.

"By the way Aza," Alixx interjected. "Now that you mention Vincent... you probably shouldn't apologize to him... I was trying to explain everything to them so it made sense and didn't include wolves... so he thinks I hit him."

"You three didn't mean to cause much trouble, I know but you still did." Aza said, completely unamused with his way of trying to get himself out of trouble. She then moved onto her feet and grabbed a large pitcher of water, filling it up. Then she moved her way to the living room and moved the pitcher over Jordan's head, dumping the water all over his body.

Jordan's eyes shot open as cold water moved all over his body. He sat up, coughing as he looked up at Aza. "ARE YOU INSANE?" He yelled at her as he moved off of he couch, completely soaked. "What the hell Aza!" Jordan was pissed.

Aza glared right back at Jordan. "After you clean yourself off I want you to go apologize to then two other girls for what you did last night. Then you will make them breakfast to show them that you mean it." She demanded. "Understand?" Aza growled at him.

Jordan began to grumble as he made his way to the bathroom.

Lucas winced as he watched Aza pour water over Jordan and then yell at him. For some reason, Jordan just seemed to be unlucky enough to be getting it bad, even though himself and Vincent had been involved as well. She probably figured Vincent had already been punished enough though... and as for him... Lucas couldn't imagine what she was planning, but it had to be bad if she was keeping him in suspense like this.

Alixx frowned as Jordan headed off to the bathroom and Aza came back. The girl already acted so much like an alpha that it was amazing her father didn't cave and let her become alpha, honestly... "Why are you being so hard on only Jordan?" she asked.

Aza moved back to the table. Though this time she sat besides Alixx and across from Lucas. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at him. She wasn't quite sure what she was going to do about him. Obviously she couldn't punish the others and not him. Vincent was already taken care of even if hurting him was accidental it was enough. Jordan was a bit easier too since it was his idea. So he needed to apologize the most but Lucas was completely different. "I think that Vincent has paid his dues don't you? Plus Jordan was the mastermind of all of this and I think he needs to apologize to the others." It was harder for her to get back at them like this. Normally she would just have fought them immediately as a wolf but this time that was not possible. "How about you Lucas? What do you think should happen? Out of everyone you should have known better. You're next in line! It's one thing to pull a prank on the pack but us and humans together? Especially since you were breaking in and attacking! This was completely irresponsible. So if you were alpha what would you do if a pack member had done this?"

Lucas felt more like it was Aza's mother lecturing him rather than Aza... it was still pretty bad though, especially since rather than just telling him what she was going to do, she was asking him his opinion on the matter. What kind of person actually asked someone how they wanted to be punished? "In my defense, I didn't think you would freak out and attack us because of snowballs... aside from that, we're teenagers, and teenagers do stupid things. As for your question, I don't think I should answer it. It would be one thing if you asked me randomly, but since it's my ass on the line, my answer is obviously going to be biased. So you should just come up with something."

Aza wrinkled her nose a bit. It wasn't like she could have know that they were attacking them with snowballs at the time. All she had know was that it was pitch black and someone had broken in through the window. However they were teenagers and pranks like this happened often. She was sometimes apart of them. Though it didn't change the fact that they had gone too far with this. If they had gotten found out by the others in the house they all would be toast when they got back home. "Just make sure you apologize to the other two when they come out." That was not going to be it but it surely was going to be a start....

After Aza spoke, Lucas just watched her for a moment, expecting her to continue, but then she didn't. He knew this wasn't going to be it... not with how Aza was, but he guessed he just got to look forward to waiting until she randomly decided decided to continue, and he sighed a little. "Okay... well, just to make sure I cover everyone... Aza, Alixx, I am deeply sorry for my horrendous behavior last night. When Rachel wakes up, I'll make sure to give her the same apology as well."

"You and Jordan should probably go apologize to Vincent too. After you guys got him in a situation where I...I mean where he thinks Alixx beat the shit out of him." She let out a small chuckle before glancing down at her coffee. "Alixx you better watch out. He might start trying to dodge you so he doesn't have to deal with your fists of fury." Aza said before taking a sip of her coffee. Then she got up and stretched a little. "Alixx, we should start getting ready for the mountain."

"Yeah, I was going to anyway... he has a pretty bad bruise, after all. It's going to be hard to remember who actually beat the shit out of him though," Lucas shook his head, and then went to get dressed for the day since he was still in his clothes from the night before. "You okay, dude?" He asked Jordan as he entered the room.

Alixx smiled. "It's about time someone's scared of me," she joked. "But yeah, I suppose we should start getting dressed.. add some more layers right before we leave." She tipped her head at Aza as she stood as well. "By the way... I just have to ask because I never really saw it coming, but Lucas? I mean... you guys just started getting along again, so... it's surprising."

Jordan had cleaned himself off and was pulling a new shirt back on. He turned to Lucas once he was done. "I'm fine." He growled. "I just need Aza to get off of my fucking case. We just pulled a prank, not kill someone!" He said before turning back to his pile of clothes and pushing it over to the wall more so. This was not a situation he wanted to be in and he was pissed.

Aza smiled a little before giving Alixx a little shrug. "I know it seems a bit odd with everything that happened between us. Though I really like him. Plus we were fighting because of the alpha position, not because we actually disliked each other." Her smile widen a bit more. "Plus I actually really really like him."
