I was just listening to it in the car, but if you wanted to keep it One Direction, "Does He Know?" also fits really well!

Does anyone have any ideas about the band? i.e. name, how well-known they are, are we going to use One Direction songs as the band's, etc.

Well since Haz is by himself, I think Im going to use a mixture but mostly fall out boy

I agree, and Harry also has songs that he wrote separately from the band that he has also recorded without them too I think.

Maybe they could be well known around the area? And that's how they were able to get the record deal?

I think they should use their own songs for the band.

I apologize, I haven't had access to the internet for the past few days. I should have Louis info up by tonight or tomorrow.

To add to what everyone is saying, I could see them as just getting off their feet when it comes to their band. Like, they could be well known in the area and getting gigs to perform in bars or such, so they're starting to get their hopes up (or they could have recently gotten a label if we're going with that).

I was thinking more of a legit "garage" band — no label, not a huge following outside of their area just yet, and still perform mostly in small venues/bars. That's why when Harry gets his own record deal, it adds fuel to the fire.

Ok, that's what I thought we were going for at first.

I have a question about the band and the boys; is there a general idea of how long they've known each other/have been playing for?

It'll depend on how old everyone's characters are. I said Zayn joined during his freshman year, so if that's the case for everyone then it's 3-4 years old. If it's not, it can be older and he just joined at a later time.

As for how long they've known each other, we can work all that out when we do the character relationships.

Hmmm I think it should have formed when Zayn joined, that way they are all really close and why Zayn was overly hurt for what Harry did. Idek I'm going to go hide in a corner.

I like that! So as long as everyone's around the same age, the band will have been formed during their freshman year of college.

Sounds good. So what was Harry in the band and did someone replace him?

If he played guitar, it's possible that he got kicked out and no one replaced him, since bands don't always need two.

Sounds good. It could also add to Harry wanting to sing and why he goes off by himself

Yep! I'm going to come up with a quick/basic bio for Zayn's ex girlfriend and post it soon. When I do, feel free to add to it/change it. I feel like she's our co-character lol.

What do you think of this:

Olivia Schultz — 21 years old. Zayn's ex-girlfriend. Is a dance(?) major at the same university as the boys and met Zayn in a freshman art course. She has an affinity for partying and wound up sleeping with Harry after getting particularly drunk not long after her and Zayn's one-year anniversary. While she genuinely regrets doing what she did, because Zayn won't even speak to her or let her apologize, she kind of stopped caring. She gets invited to the party by Harry, not knowing it's Liam's party or that Zayn's going to be there.

Sounds good. I'm thinking that she is invited by Harry just to spite Zayn even though Harry deep down wants to show Zayn that it meant nothing .
