Did everyone see Matty's tweets about International Women's Day? As if I needed more reason to love him.

It makes me giggle how small Matty looks. I know they're slouching. I also know Matty is average size (between 5'9 and 5'11) and that his band mates are all over 6' but I still. It tickles me. I love him.

To answer your questions:

1. I found out about them through Youtube, August 2013. I was watching The NBHD interviews and came across an interview with Matty and Jessie.
2. My favorite has to be either "Robbers," "Me," or "Pressure."
3. While I really like the Deluxe debut album, I really enjoy the Music For Cars EP and the Sex EP.
4. Favorite music video? "Settle Down." It's simply beautiful.
5. Looks aren't the only thing keeping me hooked on The 1975, though it's definitely a bonus. More than anything, I like the originality of the lyrics and the instrumentation. I also love how genuine the boys are.
6. Have I ever seen them love? Yes yesyeysyesyyes October 18, 2013 at The Firebird in St. Louis, Missouri. Though I have yet to meet them.

HELLO! It's been around... I don't know. Maybe about two months? It started with Jewel (the 1975) and I obsessing over them to each other in messages and so she came up with the idea to start a thread - well, actually, we wanted it to be a fandom club but we weren't sure how to create a club at the time so we just made a thread in the music forum. As you can see we, sadly, don't have many participants so we haven't made the jump to creating an actual club. However the few of us here are die hard. WELCOME!

My mom keeps saying that I'll get over them eventually, that it's just one of those teenage obsessions. I'd like to respectfully disagree with her in the fact that if I was going to get tired of them, it would have happened a long time ago. I just - I'm speechless on the topic of the media they put out majority of the time. I have never felt so strongly for four boys.

We would love another die hard! Like you said, it's hard to find others on Mibba that like them so we welcome anyone willing to gush over them with us.

Mom's tend to say that. Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not. I don't see myself getting over them (though I am far from a teenager. God I'm old). But I haven't felt this strongly about a band since I was seventeen and I think they've even surpassed that band in my heart now.
