Ok, Ema's Timer idea is perfect, and I'm definitely with it. It could be they think they're with the person they're destined to be with and then they make eye contact with our OCs and they realize who they're really meant to be with??

How I perceive the idea is that they all have this device in their arm and it shows them the exact countdown of when they will meet their perfect match. So, I was thinking that one of our characters can already be with their perfect match, one meets the guy and falls in love with him before she meets her perfect match, one meets her perfect match and who she is supposed to be with at the same time, and I'm thinking one girl gets hers removed and the guy she ends up with has one?

a seriously just woke up. She hasn't even got out of bed yet.

I knew my grogginess hated me.

The girl gets her TiMER removed which doesn't happen usually and the guy that she falls in love with has a TiMER. I was thinking if someone wanted this idea then the guys TiMER could read some ungodly time til he meets his match or it could be blank which means that his perfect match doesn't have one. Just a thought

OMFG that sounds perfect! That could be one of the big reveals in the story! And then maybe they can meet in like an unexpected way and they didn't realise right away that they're meant for each other!

I really like the variations of the situation! Okay let me list it:
1. One girl has met her perfect match. The story can be about their rough relationship and how they insist that they should be able to make it work?

2. One girl met a guy that she fell in love with before she met her predestined perfect match.

3. One girl meets her perfect match smoothly, as she supposed to.

4. One girl has their "match watch" removed, thus not knowing her fate.

Did I get it right?

Yep. I want either 2 or 4.

If 2 , do we want one of the other guys to be her perfect match even though she loves the guy she is with.

so how are we exactly linking our characters. I planned on mine being a sister to one of the guys.

Okay, so this is what I have in mind for no. 2.

The girl, say B, meets Ashton, for example, but they're not each other's match. Over time, they would fall in love with each other, but their story is about their struggle of concealing their love because they know that that's not how it works. In the end, they can live happily ever after when each other's perfect match accidentally fell in love with each other too, for example.

I don't know though, does that make sense?

Also, yeah, a sister makes sense! Mine would probably be a neighbour, or simply a friend? So instead of having her be friends with another girl, I'll have her be friends with one of the guys.

I think 1 and 4 are my favorites because they're just amazing and unique and I feel like they could be worked with very well
Linking our characters? Hmm, I planned that mine could be basically just a normal girl (not really related to any of the four), maybe best friends with one of the other OCs, or just a random stranger.

Anyway, I think I'm cool with working with any of the ideas, though I think Calum is more of a no. 1 kinda guy. Or no. 3. But I feel like no. 3 needs more plot line to make it more interesting. What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I think I want 4 and if you take 1. I was thinking that my character is Luke's sister and so she struggles that her brother has already found his "perfect" match.

I thought on no. 1, the girl and the guy were already a couple that it's not about how they met anymore, but rather how their relationship goes?

I'm trying! I think I got it.... mostly.

Okay... so... urgh... I'm a bit slow here. In the end, the characters are gonna be with their 'perfect match' or they'll each other fall in love with other people and defies the machine? Like... to show that. No matter how great is the technology, in the end, true love conquers all. And how did they get the device in the first place? Lina has an idea but... it's probably silly.
