Asian Drama Fandom Club

I just started watching a Chinese drama on Viki called The King's Woman and I've got a lot of emotions about it. Like, the main guy is an asshole, but I definitely ship the lead with him rather than the guy she likes (who also loves her back and is a goodie-goodie) because I love when a guy changes for the girl and I find it endearing. Also, the other guy is just such a wimp and he's too good. Does that make me weird for hating the guys that are kinda clingy and wimpy?

No it's not just you. I hate the girls in dramas that are clingy and whiny too.

And I hate the assholes lol. Basically 90% of people in Asian dramaland I hate.

I've been trying to watch more Japanese dramas, but I can barely find any I want to watch...

And omg Kamenashi Kazuya is super hot but apparently I'm taller than him

Hi. I think I've been around a few times saying hello well this time I wanna say I finally watched my first Asian drama, a Taiwanese drama called Fall in Love With Me (sometimes called Fall in Love With Both of Me) starring Aran Yung (I think I got that name wrong). I am in love with this show damn it.

I loved that one! I didn't like how it got super complicated at the end though with him being pressured to date that one chick, but I cried at the end! I think I wrote a review on it on here actually... yeah, I did lol

But he is so cute! Last I heard, he went on a break from acting to come to the states for university. I think either UCLA or USC. Not sure where he is now, but I'm hoping to see him come back soon!

I can tell it got complicated because when my friend's netflix account went out for awhile and i downloaded an app on my phone to watch asian dramas on, I was lost on which episode i was on (the netflix was out for a month) so i looked up the episode i was on and saw a bunch of summaries mentioning the chick trying to pressure Tian Xing to marry her or something and I was like, "Dude, what even?"

I know! I liked him better when he's being Xiao Lu (possibly because he looks cuter that way) then being Tian Xing XD Not that Tian Xing is bad, he just tried too hard to win over Tao Le Si as Tian Xing. xD

whooo, it's been a long time since i popped in, but i watched my first kdrama after almost a year. it's on netflix & it's called "solomon's perjury" GUYS. IT WAS SO GOOD.

it was the one high school drama i loved maybe because it wasn't your typical drama. def think you should check it out

aw, bby. i missed you. i always see you posting & stuff so i'm like "hey, it's emmalee." i actually miss mibba a lot but i'm so busy w/ other things that i can't even comprehend sitting down on my laptop unless i'm writing essays or working on portfolios. how've you been?

My mom's been watching Black with Song Seung Heon in it and honestly it looks really fucking good. Like, it's really dark which is right up my alley because I just haven't been able to digest cheesy Korean dramas lately.

I don't think I've heard of that one, what's it about? And I live for them cheesy dramas. I need to pick one up so I'm distracted from what happened, probably going to start While You Were Sleeping with Lee Jong Suk.

Ended up finally watching While You Were Sleeping and I'm still binge watching. I'm on the second to last episode and it's been pretty good, a few twists and turns here and there. I've really come to despise one of the characters because of how cunning he is and just... ugh. I want him gone. But Jongsuk is so cute, I forget how cute he is between dramas and then I fall in love with him all over again. The last thing I saw him in was W, which he was also good in. I'm so sad this is his last drama before enlistment, though. I'm going to miss him for two years, but I know that it's going to go by so fast!

Anyone watching Hwayugi with Lee Seung Gi? It's pretty good so far and I'm digging it! I have two episodes left before I finish I Am Not a Robot lol

Hwayugi's going to finish up this week! I've been watching it every week and was dying the whole time. It got pretty good!

Hwayugi's ending left me dissatisfied. That is all.
