Illusions of the sunlight

Zayn chuckled softly as Jane's suggested of how he could impress her and pull off his lie, "I doubt anyone would fall for me buying a Van Gogh masterpiece and say that it was mine" He smiled though for most people their age it could probably work, it was sad really that young people weren't interested in art anymore because it really was relaxing and such a great way to express any emotions that need to come out.

Seeing her nibbling on her bottom lip was adorable but also told him something about her, "That sounds good to me and I can see your work whenever you want to show me" He wasn't going to pressure her or force her to show him anything, if she wasn't comfortable letting him see her work than that was completely fine with him because it was her work after all and he didn't have any right to push his way in like that.

"I'm still sure that all paintings you do are beautiful" He said smiling not letting him look at Jane for too long, he didn't want to start staring at her because that would make things awkward between them. "So do you like going on rides?" He asked not wanting there to be any awkward silence falling between them.

"I'm always going to worry" Evie would, she was a big worrier even if it's over something small. She also tended to over think a lot of things, not everything but still a lot and that usually turned into worry afterwards. But that was just how she was and always would be. Feeling the ride jerk a little caused her hand to instantly reach out and grab onto whatever was close to her, her fingers formed into a fist against the soft fabric of Liam's shirt. She was never good when things jerked like that because she had seen movies about when people had died on roller coasters.

Looking at Liam she nodded her head, leaving her hand holding onto the front of his shirt. "Yeah I have actually, he asked me out to the movies and than suggested I bring a packed bag with me. So I shut him down... not very nicely either" She was so proud of herself, she wasn't the easy type and would stay over with a guy who had just taken her on one date. She wouldn't let any guy get her into bed that easily, sure Darren had been attractive but there wasn't any chemistry between them or a spark.

"Well, thank you," Jane said, brushing her hair behind her ear. Not many people were even interested in her art, so she appreciated Zayn's compliment even if he hadn't seen them yet. She didn't know if he was actually serious about seeing them or not, but she appreciated the thought.

The ride jerked up again and Jane gripped onto the cart's bar to steady herself. "Rides aren't my favorite." She looked over the edge nervously then back over at Zayn. "I'm a sort of afraid of heights, but luckily this one isn't as bad as some of the others." As far as ferris wheels went, it was rather small since it had to be toted from town to town, but it was still pretty high.

Liam's blood boiled at the thought that some guy would try to take Evie home with him. He had half a mind to find out where this Darren guy lived and go kick his ass just for talking to Evie that way. Reaching his hand over to the bar that held them in, he held onto it tightly to try to get rid of some of the angry tension that he was feeling. "Well, I'm glad you stood up for yourself," he said, and he was rather impressed how calmly he had said it. "If he ever tries to pull that shit again, let me know."

He knew he was probably being overprotective and he didn't know if Evie would get mad or not, but he couldn't help it. He hated thinking that some guy was just going to try to take advantage of her and there was really nothing he could say or do about it, aside from tell Evie that he thought it was a bad idea.

"You're very welcome and no I'm not just saying that, you're someone rare Jane and now that I know you admire art. I'm not going to be letting you leave until I can talk with you more" Zayn would take this as slow as Jane wanted, hopefully he could become friends with her first and just see what happens between them. "What? You should have told me and we could have just waited for Liam and Evie, after this ride maybe we could go find some food while those two go onto the rides they want?" He asked as his fingers fiddled with her dark wash jeans, he was nervous as Jane could easily reject him and than tell him to get lost.

He now felt horrible that he had let Jane ride the ferris wheel, sure it wasn't a large one but it still went high enough for someone to get scared by it. He wished there was a way to hurry the ride up so he could get her back onto the solid ground, but it was too late and now they'd just have to wait. "Do you work or study?" He asked wanting to keep Jane's attention on him so she wouldn't think about the height.

Evie smiled at her best friend, "Of course I did. You do always tell me not to let anyone use me and to stand up for myself, so I did" She knew that Liam could get protective of her and to her it was sweet, he wanted the best for her and he had seen her get hurt by a guy many times before. "You'll be the first one that I tell" She assured him slowly moving her hand back over to her own lap, "You don't have to worry about me. I can handle myself with stupid guys, they don't deserve my time" She smiled looking out at the wonderful view as they slowly got closer to the top of the ferris wheel.

"It's so beautiful up here" Her eyes moved around to take in everything that she could possibly see, the fair was always full with not only people but stalls and rides. The area wasn't large so everything was set up close to others, but it had been that way every single year since it started.

"Food sounds great, actually," Jane said as she rubbed her hand playfully against her stomach. "I'm starving but Liam insisted we ride rides before we get food. I think he didn't want us to get sick or something." Or he wanted to be alone with Evie, but she couldn't say that out loud. She still wasn't sure how much Zayn knew about that whole thing. For all she knew, Liam could tell Zayn everything and he'd know more about it than she did, but she doubted that.

"I study," she said, looking down at the ground before getting nervous and turning her head away. "I'm just at the community college right now, but I hope to transfer within the next year or two. What about you?" The ferris wheel stopped right as it reached the top, so it could let on passengers down below, and Jane could feel herself shaking. She looked over the edge again, which she knew she shouldn't have done, and was instantly terrified. "I'm sorry do you mind if I just -" She scooted a little more towards Zayn so she was touching him probably more than what was appropriate for strangers, but she just needed to be away from the edge.

Evie didn't know how right she was. Liam thought she deserved the world and he would give it to her if he could, but he wasn't yet ready to risk losing her friendship to cross that line. He hoped one day he'd be able to, but he couldn't imagine telling her how he felt and being rejected. He wouldn't be able to live with himself. It seemed much easier to just keep things in the dark.

"It's very beautiful," Liam said, though he hadn't actually taken the time to look away from her to see what the scenery actually looked like. He knew it couldn't be more beautiful than her anyway. "Aren't you glad I dragged you up here now?"

Zayn smiled as he too was starving but he was pretty hungry all the time so it was normal for him, "Good because I'm more interested in eating than going on anymore rides" He smiled as he could stand rides and liked a few, but he was happy to just sit somewhere and eat while people watching. "That's pretty cool, what are you studying? I just work in a music store in the mall, it's great because I love music as well. Art and music have always been my passions" He told her proudly as he had worked in the same store for a few years now and has loved every single day of it.

"Oh no, it's fine" He knew it'd still be a few minutes before the ride took them down and they could get out, so she could be as close to him as she needed to be. He moved his arm to rest along the back of the cart, not around her shoulders as that would make it awkward but it'd give her more room to be further away from the edge.

"I guess that I'm glad you dragged me up here, but it still jerked when really someone should fix that because this ride should be smooth and romantic" Evie said knowing no one probably cared about how the ride went or if it was romantic or not, the guy who let them on didn't seem happy. "I hope Jane is okay, I'm surprised she even agreed to come on here" She suddenly felt bad for not being there for her sister who was scared of heights, Evie wasn't and forgot in those seconds of getting into the cart with Liam.

She could have called down the Jane to make sure she was okay but then that would annoy everyone else around them, she didn't want to ruin anyone's romantic time as they reached the top and slowly begun to lower the cart.

Jane laughed, tapping her fingers on the hem of her shorts nervously. No one ever seemed to be as interested in her as Zayn was, so it was weird to have someone ask her questions and actually talk about herself. "As cliche as it sounds, I'm studying art. I knew the only way I could keep up with school is if I chose something I'm interested in, so art was my obvious choice." She looked at Zayn nervously, afraid he was going to criticize her decision because so many people already had. It was an impractical and illogical choice, she knew. "That sounds amazing. I can't imagine what it's like to have a job that you love."

"Smooth and romantic?" Liam said with a laugh, looking at her with his eyebrows raised. "Are you trying to make a move on me, Evie?" Liam knew that she would think he was only joking, but he wished more than anything in the world that it was true. He would give anything to break the barrier between best friends and more than friends, but he couldn't do that and risk losing Evie forever.

"Jane will be okay," Liam said as he looked at her with a reassuring smile. He knew he could never get Evie to stop worrying no matter how hard he tried. "She can handle herself."

Zayn only continued to smile when Jane told him that she was studying art, he knew a lot of people wouldn't have been happy with her making that decision because he had looked into studying art as well. Though he thought better of it because he never enjoyed high school so he didn't want to waste his time with college, "That's great Jane. Maybe one day you could own a famous art studio and I'll have to come visit it" He grinned knowing that wouldn't be happening anytime soon but there wasn't anything stopping her from doing whatever she wanted, he firmly believed in that people can do what they like and no one should criticize that.

"You'll have a job that you'll love" Zayn assured her because who wouldn't want to hire her, sure he hasn't actually seen her work yet but he was positive it was going to be wonderful. "You could even start selling your work and you could make up a new name, so no one knows it's actually you" He suggested as writers did that sometimes though he wasn't completely sure why, but they did.

Evie smiled as she looked at Liam, "You've caught me out. My plan has been blown now, I was going to make a move on you" She couldn't keep a straight face as she soon enough started laughing, she knew that if she did tell Jane how she felt about Liam than her sister would tell her to make a move. But it was harder than that because she could lose him in a second, that was the only thing holding her back from letting him know that she wanted more from him. She was scared and so she was going to keep everything to herself.

"You're right and I haven't heard any screaming" She knew the ride would finish shortly and than Jane could be back on the ground, "So what ride are we going on after this one?" She asked him as she did love surprises, but at the same time she also liked knowing what Liam had planned for them.

Jane laughed more loudly than she should have at the notion that anyone would want to buy her work, whether she signed a fake name to it or not. Not many people appreciate art these days, and the ones that did weren't interested in anything of Jane's. "I think the only person who would be buying it would be my mother, and she'd probably give me way more than it was worth."

Jane tried to peek into the next cart, wondering what her sister and Liam were up to, if anything. She was sure Liam would be thankful that she and Zayn weren't going on the rides, which would finally give him some alone time with Evie. Jane looked from the cart back to Zayn with her lips pressed together. Liam would really need to thank her one day. "I know this is going to sound weird since I rode with Liam and Evie, but do you think you could take me home later?" She asked, knowing Liam would kill for more time alone with Evie and Jane could play it off like she had a stomach ache or something.

Liam could never tell her how much he wished that it would be true - that she would be making a move on him. To hear those words come out of her mouth was like a tease to him, but he knew he had to laugh it off with her.

"What are you in the mood for?" He asked her, not being able to take his eyes off of her chocolate brown hair and how gorgeous it looked when they were so close to the sun. Everything about her was just perfect to Liam, and sometimes he didn't understand how so much beauty could be wrapped into one single person. "Since I dragged you on here, I'll let you pick the next one."

"Your Mom buying your work is fine, there's nothing wrong with that" Zayn smiled knowing his parents would do the same thing even if he told them not to, "You don't know what going to happen. Someone could fall in love with your work, you have to think positive about this Jane" He chuckled softly not wanting her to think any less of herself, though he wasn't sure what she was like completely so he didn't want to tell her too much even though he knew the world was at her feet and she could do whatever she wanted.

"Yeah of course I can, that's no problem. Though you'll have two teenage girls to deal with too" He said knowing whenever Jane wanted to go home, then so would his sisters unless their friends could take them home. He of course had no idea what was going on with Liam and Evie, though it had been clear between them that Evie was off guard meaning his friend had imprinted on him.

Evie thought about what ride she wanted to go on, even though she didn't want to ride any but knew it'd make Liam happy. "I'll pick a roller coaster but you pick the one you want to ride the most, I'll only ride one roller coaster with you" She told him knowing he had a couple favourites that he went on every year, the sooner she rode the roller coaster the sooner she could have it over and done with. "But after the next ride, I'm going to want something to eat" She looked at him though she had no idea what she actually wanted to eat yet.

"We could get a few different meals and than share?" She suggested knowing she'd want to try bits and pieces from different food stalls, though she wasn't a big eater which is why she wanted to share because Liam would finish off anything she was too full to eat.

Truthfully, Jane wasn't really a fan of teenage girls, but Zayn didn't have to know that. She thought she could deal with them for a car ride home if it meant she could give Evie and Liam some alone time and not be an awkward third wheel in the back seat. "Yeah, that's fine. I don't mind." She gave him a smile. "Thank you for doing that.

The ferris wheel jerked one last time as Evie and Liam got let out below them, and then it was Jane and Zayn's cart at the bottom, the worker opening the door for them with his unpleasant grin. She still hadn't figured out how she was going to tell Evie they were splitting up, because she was sure her sister was going to talk about how they were more than welcome to come and a dozen other things so they wouldn't split up. Maybe she would get lucky and Zayn would say something first.

"Just one roller coaster?" Liam asked with a smile, just as their cart touched down and the worker opened the door up. He helped Evie out of it as best he could before looking over at her again. "But what if you ride one and love it and decide you want to ride them all?" He knew that would never happen in a million years, but he loved toying with Evie every chance he could get. He went through a list of roller coasters in his head and tried to pick one he thought Jane would actually ride, because he knew Evie wouldn't ride if Jane was just going to sit by the exit and wait. "I think I'll go with Excalibur."

Liam had been thinking about food since the moment they got there. Being a werewolf, it seemed like his metabolism would digest food as fast as he could get his hands on it some days. "I'm thinking funnel cakes, frozen lemonades, a few hot dogs, some popcorn and maybe some nachos too. What sounds good to you?" Liam thought by this point that Evie wasn't surprised by how much he ate, but he knew sometimes his lists could be overwhelming.

"Not a problem" Zayn smiled waiting until the worker had unlocked the cart door before he climbed out and made sure that Jane too was safe as she climbed out, spotting Liam and Evie standing together he guided Jane over to them not knowing how easy it would be to split up with them. "Hey guys, I'm going to take Jane to get some food. We're both really hungry and we wouldn't be great company on any other rides, we'll see you both later" He announced seeing Evie's eyes go straight to her younger twin sister, "Don't worry Evie. I'll take care of her" He assured the brunette who was clearly slightly worried about letting her sister go off with a stranger.

He was just lucky that Liam knew him and could make sure Evie knew that he was a good guy, he didn't wait for an answer as he turned and gently placed his hand on Jane's back. Guiding her towards some food stalls so they could have a look and see what they wanted to eat, "I hate this part. I can never decide on what I want to eat" He chuckled softly as they dodged the large crowd of people that were also walking around the fair.

"I'm never going to enjoy riding roller coasters, you're lucky that I'm even letting you take me on one" Evie told him as they climbed from their cart and stood off to the side to wait for Jane and Zayn, she nodded her head knowing that Liam always ate a lot but it was nothing new to her. He has already eaten a lot so she was used to the large list, "All of that sounds delicious. I want some nachos and maybe a burger" She smiled seeing her sister and Liam's friend walking over to them, everything seemed to be fine with them and Jane didn't seem to be upset with having to spend time with a stranger.

She opened her mouth to tell Jane and Zayn that they didn't have to leave, that the ride wouldn't take long and then they could all get food together. However she didn't get the time to as Zayn had started taking Jane away from them, looking at Liam she was slightly surprised but also happy that Zayn had taken charge. Jane seemed to be comfortable enough with Zayn to even let him take her away, so Evie wasn't overly worried about being away from Jane.

Well, that was much easier than Jane had expected. She was shocked there wasn't at least a little pleading or begging from Evie, but she and Zayn hadn't really stayed around long enough to find out. Zayn's hand fell on Jane's back, nearly startling her, and she walked with him towards the many food stalls. She still wasn't sure why Zayn was so keen on hanging out with her, but she wasn't going to argue with an opportunity to allow Liam and Evie a chance to go on another unofficial, weird friend date thing.

"It's all delicious, I promise," Jane said, looking between each of the stalls as they walked down the line. Deciding what to eat really was the hardest part. Decisions in general just sucked, really. She looked over at Zayn, biting her lip softly. "What are you in the mood for?" She asked, deciding that she'd probably just have whatever he was having.

"That's that then," Liam said to Evie, thanking his lucky stars that he'd somehow managed to nicely ditch Jane and be abler to hang out with Evie alone. He looked over to the beautiful girl and noted the nervous expression on her face. "Jane'll be okay. I've known Zayn for a very long time, so trust me when I say he's a good guy. He won't do anything to hurt your sister." Not that Liam would let him if he tried. He cared about Evie more than anything else, so protecting Jane fell under the territory of loving Evie, because he knew how much he meant to her.

"Now, let's get going to that roller coaster you love so much," Liam said, tapping Evie's hand gently, almost as if he was going to hold her hand before he chickened out and pulled back.

"I hope that wasn't too forward" Zayn wondered if he had just annoyed Jane's sister because he could see how close the two were, if he pissed off Evie than it would just be harder for him to spend more time with Jane. "I could honestly eat everything, but how about we start off with some hotdogs and burgers? I might get a large bowl of chips too" He said not wanting to eat as much as he normally does because he didn't want to come across as a pig, even though he was a bottomless pit. As a werewolf he could pretty much eat as much as he wanted and he didn't gain any weight at all.

"Unless you wanted something else?" He asked not knowing what food she even liked or if she was allergic to a certain food, if she wanted to go see more food stalls than he'd go along with her willingly. He'd eat whatever she did and would even order more for himself and for her if she was still hungry.

Evie believed Liam when he said that Zayn was a good guy, though she was still going to be a protective sister and make sure Jane was safe and happy at all times. "You know that if he makes a single mistake, I'll be harsh on him and I can hold grudges forever" She looked at Liam as she had held a grudge on a girl that was mean to Jane, they had only been ten years old but Evie still remembers it and always will. "Yes the ride that I love so much" She said knowing the ride wouldn't last more than a few minutes, though it'd feel like a long time once she was actually on the ride.

She turned around and began walking towards the Excalibur, as they got closer she noticed the line wasn't as long as it had been when they arrived. Joining the end of the line she looked at Liam, "What if we're on the ride and I get scared?" She looked at him feeling a little extra brave.

"No, no, it was fine," Jane said, shaking her head. "I don't think we would have gotten away from Evie if you hadn't." She laughed at the thought because she was surprised Evie hadn't switched her and Liam's plans so they could come get food too.

"I think I'll just do a burger," Jane said with a laugh, "that'll be plenty of food for me." Did all the guys around here eat like wild animals or was it just the ones that Jane knew? She didn't understand how Liam could eat an entire fridge worth of food and not gain weight, but it seemed like Zayn was the same as Liam.

"Don't worry, so will I," Liam said, looking over at Evie with a smile. Zayn really would have hell to pay if he hurt Jane, and not in the way that Evie was thinking. Evie was Liam's imprint and he would do anything to make sure her and her loved ones were safe.

He couldn't help but chuckle as he looked at Evie. He didn't have to imagine what would happen if she got scared on the ride because she always did. She'd scream the entire time, grab onto his arm and bury her face into his shoulder, and it would be the best 30 seconds of Liam's life because he'd finally be able to hold her in the way that he always wanted. "I'll be there to protect you, Ev. I won't let you fall out." And he really wouldn't, he always made sure to hold down onto Evie's lap bar in case it malfunctioned in some way, which he had heard about happening before.

Smiling Zayn looked at Jane as he was quickly figuring out the differences the girls had, "She does seem like someone who likes to stick with plans" He chuckled softly still surprised he had managed to get away, though he had a feeling if Evie did try to keep them together than Liam would have helped out. "Sure thing" He nodded as they walked over to the burger stall, "What kind would you like?" He asked knowing he'd be getting a burger with the lot because it gave him more, he'd start off with a burger and than see what other food stalls were around.

"So are Liam and Evie dating?" He asked Jane not wanting to assume anything or say something wrong when they did join up again, it was obvious to him at least that Liam had certain werewolf feelings for Evie as other wolves could sense it. But he wasn't sure what was going on with Evie and he did want his friend to be happy, he had only ever heard a couple of stories about a wolf imprinting but that imprint doesn't return the feelings. It was rare and he wasn't even sure if the stories were true or not, his father told him and his grandfather had told his father the same thing.

Evie smiled widely when Liam agreed with her that Zayn would pay if he hurt Jane, though she hoped he didn't hurt her sister because it hurt her seeing her twin in pain. She could feel heat warm her cheeks when he said that he'd protect her, even though she knew that he would because he always did and she always did hold onto him whenever she was scared. Her face would be buried securely in his shoulder for two hours when a horror movie was being played on the tv, she'd be clinging onto him before this ride even started. "Good, I'm doing this for you so you better keep me safe" She looked at him and walked a little as more people were let onto the ride.

Her heart beat increased in speed when they were allowed onto the ride, she waited until they were shown to their seats before she climbed on and sat down. Her hand already holding onto Liam's arm once he had sat down beside her, the staff fixed everyone's safety bar and the safety belts. "You better enjoy this while it lasts" She looked at Liam as the countdown started and the ride slowly began to move.

"I'll just take it plain," she said as she pulled her cash out of her back pocket, knowing her debit card wouldn't work at any of the stalls. "And I think I'll have a coke too." The two of them made it to the stall and stood in the long line, which was moving slowly forward.

Jane nearly laughed at the mention of Evie and Liam dating. At least she wasn't the only one who noticed that there were feelings there. "Not exactly dating per say. It's complicated." It was a very complicated situation seeing as Evie was blind to Liam's feelings for her though it was the most obvious thing in the world to Jane.

"Evie, I would never let anything or anyone hurt you," Liam said, wanting nothing more than to reach out and touch her cheek, though he knew he never could. "Ever." He smiled at her as the line continued getting shorter and shorter until they reached the front. Liam knew Evie must have been terrified, and every time he looked at her, her eyes were a little wider than usual.

Liam's heart thumped as Evie's hand wrapped around his arm, and he looked over at her with a reassuring smile. "Oh, trust me, I will," Liam said, chuckling a bit as they took their seats. He placed his hand on top of hers just as the ride began to move.

Zayn nodded his head as he wished the list would either be shorter or move faster, the smell coming from all the stalls around them was only making him hungrier. "Right, I won't mention anything then" He smiled glad that he at least knew they weren't together so he wouldn't put his foot into it, "Did you even want to come here?" He asked knowing he would have been completely happy to stay home and watch a load of movies or work so more on his art pieces. Though he was still happy bringing his sisters to the fair, it was another way he could make sure they stayed safe and that no little punk decided to try anything or hurt them. He was big on family and would protect his with his life.

He took a few small steps as the line moved along at a steady pace and he couldn't help but smile when the sun caught onto Jane's beautiful dark locks, the way her hair shone in the sun and the way her eyes seemed brighter almost threw Zayn off guard. She was becoming even more gorgeous as the seconds ticked by and he was lost for words, the sun warmed up her complexion and he was struggling to understand how no one had snapped her up or wanted to be with her.

Evie tried her hardest to keep herself as calm as possible but on the inside she was freaking out, she knew she just had to get through this ride and then she'd be fine. Liam was right there beside her and nothing was going to happen, he'd make sure of that. She was going well at calming herself until the ride started gaining speed, than the ride was going at a fast speed and was jerked upwards. Her hand tightened on Liam's arm because if the ride goes up, then it's also going to be coming back down. It wasn't long before Evie was screaming and struggling to keep her eyes open as the ride followed the tracks, her screams increased when she was upside down for a few seconds.

"Is it finished?" She asked once the ride slowed down where it had started, a few strands of her hair had fallen across her nose as she looked at Liam. The safety bar moved back and she was quickly unbuckling the belt that had been across her body.

Jane chuckled, shaking her head quickly. "It wasn't exactly my choice. Evie really wanted me to get out of the house, and for some reason she thought inviting me on her 'date' with Liam was a great way to do it." She looked over at Zayn and shrugged her shoulders. "It hasn't been too bad though."

It would have been much worse if she would have had to stay with Evie and Liam the whole time, watching the way Liam looked at Evie with those puppy dog eyes like he wanted her more than he wanted anything else in the world, which he did.

Liam couldn't help but laugh at Evie as she freaked out throughout the ride. He was never going to let anything bad happen to her, so it was just funny to him. He knew that she was perfectly safe with him next to her, especially on some silly roller coaster. There was nothing that she had to worry about.

"It's over," he said with a laugh, reaching over to push back a piece of hair that had tangled up during the ride. He thought maybe he shouldn't have touched her, but it was only a small touch and she was already holding onto him anyway. Liam hated the moment she let go off him to undo her buckle, but he did the same as her and got out of the car as the workers ushered them away.

Zayn smiled as he listened to Jane's smooth and soothing voice, "Are you someone who'd rather stay in?" He asked as he knew he was, he was a home body and was the most comfortable in his apartment either by himself or with friends. As long as he was home and knew he was safe. "I'm sure she was just trying to get you to have fun, besides if you had stayed home than I never would have met you" He said softly not knowing if that was going too far or making things awkward between them because he didn't want that, he wanted Jane to be comfortable around him and for her to enjoy being around him.

"I know I would have been happy staying home, even if my Mom does try to get me out and meeting new people" He shook his head softly as he knew his Mom just wanted him to meet the person he was destined to be with, she was the imprint of his Dad and they both wanted all their children to be happy.

Evie was used to Liam laughing at how she reacted on roller coasters, to him this roller coaster was nothing but to her it was scary and she wasn't the only one who had been screaming. Feeling his gentle touch as he brushed back some of her hair, she went to open her mouth to say something about how she felt. Though she stopped herself when he climbed off the ride, she was quick to follow him as everyone walked towards the exit so the workers could let on another group of people.

"Can we go get some food now?" She asked turning her dark eyes onto Liam as they walked down a few steps and away from the ride, she ran her fingers through her hair to make sure it hadn't gotten messy from the ride. She knew she needed to talk to Jane about this, she needed to know what to do.

Jane nodded her head quickly. "I'd much rather be home. It's not that hate people or anything; it's just that home is so nice," she said with a laugh as she looked over at Zayn. She really didn't hate being around people or anything, she just much preferred being at home where she could do what she wanted.

Jane blushed at the mention of them meeting and immediately turned her head away, hoping Zayn wouldn't notice. She hadn't really thought about it until then, but she wondered if she'd ever see Zayn again after they left the fair. "I'm sure she just wants you to be happy," Jane said, "Evie is the same way with me."

Liam's eyes were hooked on Evie's, lost in the way that she looked at him. He would never get over how gorgeous her eyes were. "Since you survived that with minimal complaining, you can have whatever you want," Liam said, looking over at Evie with a smile. He would give her absolutely anything if it meant that she would be happy. Nothing meant more to him that making Evie happy, not even himself.

Liam thought for a moment than maybe they'd see Jane and Zayn at the food carts, and he hoped that this wouldn't mean they'd spend the rest of the day together. As much as he loved Jane and Zayn, he loved his alone time with Evie even more.
