He nodded,"They're not my problem," he said to her, "I'm curious as to why you're here if youre going to spend your life moping about the same you would if you had been married off to some lord or count," he said to her licking his lips.

"Take a look around you, its beautiful. Life is beautiful, you're alive, if Marissa and Yixing can find love - so can you, stop being a stuck up brat and let it find you," he told her honestly.

She smiled a little and kissed him softly on the lips, "Not every night.. twice a month is just fine," she murmured.

I shrugged. "Because the only thing I have gained is my freedom. They're the only ones I'm convinced are in love, and I'll never have that luck. I am a stuck up brat, it's how I was raised. Yes, I am alive, the world is beautiful. But I'm a brat who can't do anything useful. I knew I would spend my life moping, and I don't need a lecture from you, thanks. Why don't you worry about your life and I'll worry about mine."

He nodded. "I will do my best to make it more often than not." He murmured.

He looked at her,"With that attitude you'll never find happiness," he told her furrowing his brow, "Marissa seems to be the exact opposite of you, believes in things til she is proved wrong - maybe thats why she is happy right now,"

She smiled a little as she stroked his cheek,"Yixing.. I.. I don't know how to be a good wife," she murmured,"In the physical manner,"

I nodded. "We are opposites. But Marissa has her life set. Yixing loves her. He's willing to teach her and help her learn and wait for her. At least back home I could be certain of my future. She likes to see the rainbows that don't necessarily exist, but for her they do. She has happiness. All I have is freedom. It's all I've got. All she's lost is a title and the level of wealth. She lost things, but she gained. What have I gained?"

He shrugged. "We can work on that too, whenever you're ready to." He said, checking on the food. "I just want you to be comfortable with me."

He looked at her,"You gained freedom and friends," he told her softly, "You could gain happiness and love if you had an open mind," he smiled a little, teasing her.

She nodded, "I don't mind when we start, whenever you feel comfortable," she murmured softly as she wtachedh im check the food.

I smiled a little at his teasing. "Happiness and Love dont exist." I murmured. "Not for me at least." I added.

He nodded a little. "Well, I'd like to be married to you first, and then you can decide when. Completely up to you."

"Ah, but they do," he told her smiling a little,"I know it,"

She nodded a little,"Of course," she smiled a little as she looked at him, "Is it done yet?" she asked softly.

I sighed a little as I looked at him. "And how do you know it?"

He nodded. "Almost." He said, stirring the food and giving her some to try. "How is it?"

"Everyone has love and happiness," he told her.

"Its really good," she smiled a little.

He smiled. "It just needs to keep being stirred, then itll be ready."

I shook my head. "I've never experienced either. So maybe I got left out."

She smiled a little as she looked at him,"Okay," she said to him,"Can I do it?"

"Because you're not accepting it," he told her smiling a little.

I shook my head. "It's never been there to accept."

He nodded handing her the spoon and stepping back. "Sure," He smiled.

He looked at her,"IT's gonna happen," he told her knowingly, "Trust me,"

She smiled and took the spoon, and began to stir.

I sighed a little, shaking my head. "I've never understood believing in things you couldn't see."

He watched her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Good job, you'll have this perfect in no time."

"Then I take it you're not religious?" he said to her.

She smiled a little as she continued to stir it, "You think so?" she asked.

I shook my head. "I believe there is a God. I believe that everyone is worshipping the same one, he just is named different things. Whether or not he preforms miracles is another story."

He nodded. "I do, you'll have it perfect. You might strt kicking me out of the kitchen."

"But you can't see him," he said to her, "You don't have proof that he exists," he told her, "But you don't believe in love, and happiness and you can prove they exist and see it," he told her.

She laughed a little,"Hm maybe," she said to him laughing.

I nodded. "You're right, I can't prove he exists. But I can't prove love and happiness exist, I've never experienced it. Maybe it's there for others, but for myself, it isn't there. By some miracle, I'm alive, and free. So there is a God. But, I am still unhappy and without love, hence it doesn't exist."

He smiled kissing her cheek softly. "I love you," He murmured.

"That doesn't make any sense," he told her,"But you'll see soon enough - it exists," he smiled.

"I love you too," she murmured as she leaned into him.

I shook my head at him, going back to staring at the sky. "I don't believe you," I murmured honestly.

He held her, the food finishing and him pulling out from the fire. "Lets serve it into bowls."
