Logan picked around at his food, not sure how to feel in the current moment. There was an awkward feel to the air, like there was something he was missing.

Madison could feel Harper's gaze on her, so she looked to smile at the other girl. She wanted her to know what was going on in her mind but now wasn't the time to say anything.

Harper smiled then looked over at Logan. She kissed his cheek softly, then went back to eating her food. Harper didn't understand why there was so much tension.

Easton finished his food then start to drink his beer. He had a feeling that it would calm his nerves. He looked at Madison as he took a swig of his beer.

Logan smiled over at his wife and commenced with action of eating his food.

Madison looked up and met Easton's eyes, getting stuck for a moment. Then she cleared her throat, "I think I need to be excused for a moment." She stood and made her way out the door of the restaurant and breathed in the cool air. It was getting way too awkward at that table for her.

Harper looked over as Madison walked out then got up. She walked outside with Madison. "are you okay?" She asked, crossing her arms. She was concerned about her friend.

Easton sighed as the girls walked out. He took a swig of his beer.

Logan watched as his wife left the building, he then turned to look at everyone else and quirked a brow. "Does anyone know what that was about?" He jabbed his thumb in the direction of the door.

Madison let out a sigh at her friend's question. "No. Yes. I don't even know. I just thought things felt awkward as hell and I just couldn't deal. I needed the cool air." She gnawed at her bottom lip, unsure to share what had happened last night.

Harper nodded, not convinced. "Does this have to do with Easton?" She asked. She knew her friend was keep something hidden. "What happened last night Madison?" She asked.

Easton shook his head, "Not a clue." He muttered as he took a sip of his beer. He knew what was wrong but he wasn't going to mention it in front of her boyfriend.

"Hm," Logan eyed his friend curiously and then glanced to Brandon. "I assume you don't know a thing?" Brandon answered his question with a shrug and looked lost.

"Nothing really," Madison looked away from Harper and down at the sidewalk, studying the cracks. She sighed before continuing, "I just pretty much threw myself at Easton like a pathetic slut who can't stay faithful to her boyfriend."

Harper stared at her, "Oh that's what happened." She said, not surprised. She looked over as Easton stepped out. She looked at Madison then walked back inside, sitting next to Logan.

Easton sighed as he got up, then walked out. He looked at Madison and waited for Harper to go inside. "Mads are you okay?" He asked as he stepped so he was next to her. He faced her, looking down at her. He pushed a few strands of hair from her face, "I don't want you to be upset." He whispered. He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes for a moment.

Logan watched as Easton walked out the door and Harper made her way in. He eyed her questioningly, not expecting an answer until they were alone.

"I'm fine, I just needed cool air. Things just feel wrong when I'm sitting next to a guy when you across from me, when you should be next to me." Madison bit her lip, still following the crevices in the sidewalk.

Harper gave him a small smile as she sat down next to him. She laced her fingers with his as she talked to Brandon and him.

Easton nodded, "I know, but things are just hard right now." He said as he rubbed her back softly. He smiled as he pushed her hair behind her ear, "It will be okay mads." He said.

"Do you know when they'll be back in here?" Brandon questioned Harper and Logan waited to see what her answer would be.

"They shouldn't have to be. I just wish we were kids again; when falling in love was easy." Madison knotted her fingers together and placed them in her lap.

Harper finished chewing her food and looked at Brandon. "They won't be much longer. They are just catching up is all." She said.

Easton sighed as he put his arm around her, "I know but things are different." He said. He hate seeing her this hurt, "You got Brandon now." He said.

"Oh, okay.." Brandon trailed off and Logan worried that Easton and Madison were going to take too long.

"I know things are different, I know it better than anyone else. I'm the one who had to stay here and put up with all the differences." Madison let out a sigh, not trying to sound snappy with him; she was just aggravated.

Harper continued to eat and hope that Madison and Easton would hurry. She could see that Brandon was upset.

Easton bit his bottom lip lightly, "Madison I'm really sorry." He said softly. Easton pulled her slightly closer to his body. He kissed her temple, "Please don't be mad at me." He whispered against her skin.

"Maybe I should go check on her," Brandon said and Logan quickly jumped in with a, "No, they should be back any minute now."

"I'm not mad," Madison huffed; she could never really be mad at Easton for anything he did. Which she hated.

Harper looked at Logan then back at Brandon. "They shouldn't be much longer." She said. She watched as he sat back down and sighed.

Easton smiled, "Yes because that huff says it all." He said. He stood up, "We should get back in there, our food is gonna get cold." He said, offering her his hand.

Logan glanced up to see Easton and Madison making their way back into the building. Relief flooded him, "look, here they come."

Madison made her way back into the booth next to Brandon, smiling at him. "Sorry about that, I just got a little crowded." Brandon nodded and returned her smile, just like she knew he would; he was ever so trusting with big brown eyes.

Harper looked at Easton and Madison then continued to eat her food. She was really worried about them hurting Brandon. She knew them getting back together was inevitable. Harper looked at Logan then looked at her watch to see what time it was. She hated that she had to get up to go to work tomorrow.

Easton sat down, taking a sip of his beer. He looked over at Logan, feeling his friend giving him the eye. He knew that he would have to leave the states again soon, but he still wanted Madison. He knew he could have her back at the drop of a hat.

"What time is it, dear?" Logan asked, noticing Harper checking the time. He was honestly ready to go home, not really comfortable with the situation anymore.

Madison finished her food quickly, not wanting to be at the restuarant anymore. Everything and everybody was making her nervous with thick tension. With a fake yawn she turned to Brandon, "I think I'm ready to go home. I'm really tired."

Harper looked at him, "Eight o'clock." She said softly. She kissed him softly, "I think we are going to go too." She said as she placed her hand over Logan's. She got up with him, pulling her jacket on. She smiled, waving at Madison. "Goodnight guys." She said as touched Eastons shoulders.

Easton smiled as he paid his part of the bill. "So I guess I will talk to you guys later." He said. He hugged Harper then waved at Madison. "Goodnight." He said as he walked outside with all of them. He lit a cigarette catching Madison's eye one last time.
