"I couldn't help it, she's just really good looking." The words flowed from his tongue like silk, then he instantly looked up to her. He didn't want to make things awkward, but the words just flew out. Quickly looking around, he rubbed the back of his neck and apologized for stepping out of line. That was a little awkward of him to say, and he instantly regretted it. Not wanting to make her run off. Sighing, he looked to the stack of papers that were on his desk. A handful of them were from students who wanted to drop his class and take regular English, he just had to sign them.

Looking back up to her, Aaron smiled softly. "That's very true." He was enjoying the closeness of her company. Without thinking, once again, he reached out and moved a strand of hair from her face and placed it behind her ear. He allowed his hand to linger a moment beside her face, feeling the warmth coming from her skin. Aaron just looked at her, a smile spread across his face while he did so. He had to admit, she was gorgeous. And there was just something about her, something that made him feel different inside. He just had to keep reminding himself that she was a student and he was a teacher. But, those thoughts weren't poking through at the moment.

Katherine shrugged and moved her hair back to place and her shirt. Her mind was still walking around. She needed to know who she had gone off with, more importantly she needed to know if she had slept with the guy! Kat was a little worried about her reputation, she was already being called a whore, she didn't know how much worse it could get, then again, she did. Once a girl at the school had slept with someone that they didn't know and word spread like wildfire, the girl had to transfer due to the constant harassment. Sighing, she picked at the ground and kept her eyes down. She wanted to know what had happened. She laughed a little when he made the comment about the keg, "Hey... I had to show the guys up! I'm pretty sure it was a bad idea though." She laughed lightly.

"By any chance, the girl you went off with, did y'all.. Y'know?" She wiggled her eyebrows. True, she barely knew the kid and more than likely he wouldn't tell her even if he did remember. Kat was just curious, because the bruises on her hips told a story that something else had happened between her and mystery man that night. But she wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to tell Lucas. Then again, what harm would it do? He wouldn't tell anyone. "I'm only asking because I have these bruises on my hips, and they seem like the type of bruises one would get from some rough..." She trailed off her words.

Hearing those words, she quickly looked away from him, fearing that a prominent blush would spread across her face. If this had been any other situation with a teacher, Sarah probably would have vomited and then ran to the office to report harassment, but Aaron was different from the rest of these teachers. It was a compliment coming from him. "It's okay.. We were just joking around." She reassured him but silently hoped that at he had meant every single word that came out of his mouth. Leaning more forward, she looked down at the stack of papers that he had at his desk. It seemed like they were all drop out forms that need he needed to sign. At one point, she probably would have been one of the kids, but they would be missing out on a lot of valuable skills by dropping to regular. Like, having Aaron as a teacher.

Sarah lightly bit her lip when he reached across to tuck a loose strand of a hair behind her ear. Feeling the soft graze of his hand against her cheek was enough for her heart to skip a beat. It was so odd to her how his smile just tugged at her heart strings, making her question her fundamental basics that she stuck to from the start. They were starting to cross a line right now that they couldn't come back from. She knew that but it wasn't influencing her thoughts at all. Even though her conscience was yelling at her to pull away or at least to stop with the flirting, all she could think about was the feeling of his lips pressed against hers. Her eyes lingered at his smile, tracing the outline of his lips.

"Well, you did. And then I heard you flashed the guys as a form of victory." He added on since that had been one of the main rumors circulating throughout the hallway. When they were walking to the cafeteria, Lucas was sure that he had heard it at least several times before they finally made it there. Katherine Williams was definitely a different type of girl. "Probably was bad idea but it's too late now. Just try not to get too drunk in the future." Lucas advised since obviously alcohol and Katherine were a bad combination, unless she wanted to be an unpredictable bomb. Of course, that didn't seem to ease her mind at all though. He wasn't really sure how else he could have helped out to find what she was looking for. It wasn't like he had any contacts to call.

Lucas raised an eyebrow at her, wondering what she was referring to when she waggled her brows. Immediately, his mouth pressed into a firm frown since he never hooked up with people at parties. Girlfriends were another story and it definitely wasn't hooking up. "I am sure that I didn't do anything like that. You have the wrong guy, Katherine." He defended since he wasn't even sure who he would have hooked up with at the party. Most people didn't even realize that he was there. How could he have slept with one of them? "I am the invisible guy. No one even noticed me there. Maybe I just got lucky with a make out. That's it though." Lucas sighed since this was starting to get more complicated than he wanted it to be. When she continued on by explained her question, he used his hand to cut her off. "Yeah, don't finish that sentence. If it helps, I am not usually the rough type."

Aaron couldn't help but let his eyes linger on her lips for a few moments. His mind was shouting at him, telling him to walk away and to stop what he was doing. But he wasn't listening very well. Without thinking, at all, Aaron moved his band back down and placed it softly on hers. He leaned closer so they were only a few centimeters apart. His heart was pounding against his chest, nerves were wreaking havoc on his entire body, but he kept his composure on the outside. Any other time he would've walked away from this, knowing it was wrong, but there was something about Sarah, something that kept he drawn in. Pulling his hand up towards her, he rested it on her cheek, cupping her face for a moment. "You're stunning." He whispered.

Now his body had taken over. There was no turning back, the line was crossed. He had complimented her, and he was touching her. And not in a teacher-caring type of way, but the type of way that shouldn't be between teacher and student. His eyes gazed into hers, a feeling of euphoria washing through him as they sat there. How badly he wanted to kiss her, but he was afraid to. He was afraid that she would reject him, something he wasn't sure he could handle. He was a grown man, but he had been hurt already once. But who was he to think that a high school student would be any better than a grown woman? But those thoughts were pushed away quickly while his thumb softly ran over her skin.

"More than likely, I did flash. But it's just skin." That was a motto her mothers friend had told her when she was fifteen. It's just skin, it's not like she let anyone touch, just look. Who cared? If she was proud of her body, so be it. People could pull the sticks from their asses and get over it. "And I would stop drinking, if I had a real reason to." She grumbled the last part and then turned back to face him with a bright smile. "I'm really sorry for bugging you with all of this. It's just, you're my only other person who I can talk to. My girl friends are all being stuck up and whatnot." She shrugged. Besides, she knew none of them would've been much help, they were just as gone as she had been that night.

Sighing, she bit her lip and looked over to him with a little pout. "Look, you're an attractive guy. If you did get lucky, you did. Who cares? Sex is sex. I mean, if you did have sex with someone, kudos to you! Nothing to be ashamed of." She shook her head and leaned into him for a moment, then sat back up straight, "And you were noticed by someone, did you not see the love bites you have to prove that!?" She threw her hands into the air and laughed a little. Then she looked down and thought about it, "Sorry for asking you. You really don't look like the rough type." Sadness washed over her. She really needed to know what happened, and for some reason, she felt like Lucas was the missing piece to the entire puzzle. Could she have made out with him that night? But that wouldn't explain the bruising on her hips or the soreness in her legs. Kat wanted to ask him if there were any scratch marks on his back, but she decided against it. More than likely she had already scarred the poor guy.

When he leaned forward even more, she could feel his breath brush right against her lips. Sarah knew that if she would just lean forward a few more centimeters.. she would get what she wanted. There was some fear that this moment would be completely ruined though. If she moved too quickly, he would realize what a mistake this was or, even worse, she would realize her guilt for even wanting to kiss her teacher. Sarah could feel this spark in the air when he placed a hand against her cheek, sending a shiver down her spine. She moved her hand to lightly place it on top of his, willing him to move forward. Pausing for a moment, she locked eyes with him and was unable to believe that he had just said that to her. "You're no so bad looking yourself." She teased back with a lingering smile.

Sarah continued to stare into his eyes wanting him to just make the move already. The tension was starting to kill her and there was no point in turning back now. This was her teacher. The same teacher that a lot of girls wanted to have but couldn't. The thought of throwing her hat into the ring hadn't even crossed her mind but look at her now in this situation. Sarah leaned forward more to lessen the gap between them but couldn't find it within herself to make the first move. "How long are you going to keep me waiting?" She questioned and felt her lip just brush against his.

Lucas was sure that flashing skin like that was no problem for someone like Katherine, considering that she had been doing it since Freshman year. "It was just some advice so that next time you're not in this situation." He reiterated since alcohol had gotten them into two horrible situation with hers being the worse. If she didn't want to stop getting wasted, that would be her decision though. "It's whatever. I don't have anyone to talk to anyway." Taking another sip of the water, he didn't find it surprising that her friends had ditched her. "Don't be too mad when I say this but.. your friends wouldn't notice if you fell off the face of the Earth. They would only care about who is going to ask them to prom." Lucas sighed since she would probably be upset with him for it, but he had to say it. Someone had to finally say it to her.

"I'm not ashamed if I did have sex with someone, but sex isn't just sex. There are so many things that can go wrong if you have sex with the wrong person. STDs. Pregnancy. That's some shit I don't want to deal with." He pointed out with a frown since sex could be the best and worst thing. Finishing off the sandwich, he balled up the plastic and tossed it into the trash can a few feet away. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Some drunk girl probably just bumped into me and smashed her lips against mine. No big deal." Lucas shrugged while looking down at his phone for the time. They would have to get to the next period soon. He was sure that he had enough of Katherine for the day. "It's fine." He reiterated once more since he was getting annoyed with how many times she apologized. Getting up, he groaned at the aching in his back, frowning slightly to himself. "Hey, could you look at this for a second?" Peeling back his shirt, he asked her to take a look at what had been giving him back aches all day.

Smirking, Aaron looked into her eyes one last time. When she made the comment about his looks, he felt a sense of pride. And as she commented about making her wait, something in his mind took over. This was his student. This was wrong. This was illegal. But the thoughts were pushed away, leaning closer his lips pressed against hers, softly. He didn't want to force the kiss, nor did he want to make it seem like he was some sort of pervert. Pulling her closer, he allowed his lips to keep touching hers. His body had shivers, and his mind was clouded over with something new. Thoughts about his ex had faded, thoughts about the papers, gone. The only thing on his mind was keeping the gentle kiss as long as he could.

Aaron wasn't one to be super romantic, in fact he wasn't really one to be cuddly either. As he pulled away from the kiss, he kept his forehead against hers. "There's something about you, Miss. Sarah, and I have no clue what it is. But I like it." His hand fell from her cheek and landed on her knee, he rubbed his thumb over her skin as they sat there together. It was silent, but it wasn't an awkward silence. It was comfortable.

"I know. I just, alcohol makes me feel better." She let the words slip from her lips, that made her sound like an alcoholic, she wasn't impressed with herself on that one. Shaking her head, she looked up to him, "I'm sure you have people to talk to, you just don't want to." Katherine was beginning to feel that she was bothering him. Maybe it would be best if they only saw each other during History and on the certain days where they would have to work together. Looking down, she threw her garbage away and grabbed a stick of gum from her mouth and popped it into her mouth. She offered some to him, she was just trying to be nice.

"Condoms." She said bluntly. Condoms were her life saver, if it weren't for condoms then more than likely should would have a baby by now. Her and James were always all over one another. Laughing lightly at his comment about the making out, she smiled. "Hey, if some girl did, that proves you're a good looking guy who doesn't only blend into the wallpaper!" She titled her drink towards him. When Lucas stood up, Kat felt her face flush a little when his shirt was peeled up. Then her eyes grew wide, there were scratch marks alright. Some were deeper than others and a few of them had bruised up. Leaning out, she ran her fingers across them and gawked. "Jesus, dude! Did you fuck a tiger?" Laughing, Katherine looked at them more and just shook her head. Whoever he did it with, he was doing something very right.

Sarah closed her eyes when he leaned forward till their lips finally met. It was a gentle kiss. A kiss that told her that Aaron really did care about her as opposed to just some guy wanting something from a teenager. He really meant every single word that he had said and she wished that he could see that she felt the same way. Moving her hand, she ran it through his hair, realizing that it had been just as soft as she had thought. The idea of this being wrong was immediately cancelled. She thought that everything about this kiss was completely right and couldn't bring herself to pull away from it. Sarah wished that they could just stay like this for as long as possible.

When he pulled away from her, she felt a small smile appear on her face with a laugh. "I'm glad that I could keep your interest." Sarah responded with a grin before his hand settled onto her knee. She moved her hand to gently run down the side of his face, feeling his beard lightly scratch against her hand. The silence filled in the air between them and, for once, she didn't want it to leave. It was comforting to her just looking at Aaron with a smile.

Hearing her comment about drinking, he simply just raised an eyebrow since those were the words that a teenager should use, but.. he was no different. The alcohol was an escape from reality. "Right, right." He responded sarcastically since there was no one that he had to talk to nor did he want to talk to. Lucas shook his head since the taste of gum never stayed long enough for it to be useful. "Thank though." He added on since it was a nice gesture.

"Condoms don't always work." He reminded her since it was like it was magical device that stopped all pregnancies from happening. Maybe she was just lucky. Shrugging, he didn't really see it that way but she seemed to be pretty convinced that some girl had shown interest. Lucas didn't even know who this girl was and didn't really seem to care enough to find her. When he heard Katherine pause for a moment when looking at his back, he furrowed his eyebrows since she was never speechless. "What? What's wrong?" He was a little panicked by her silence before he felt her fingers run over something, leaving a sting in its path. Lucas sighed since that would explain all of his pains. "Uh, I didn't fuck anyone let alone a tiger." Lucas responded since couldn't remember doing anyone that day of the party, especially hard enough to leave scrapes along his back.

But those thoughts were at the very back of his mind. All he wanted was to kiss her lips, speak softly to her and possibly take her somewhere else so they could be alone. Making sure nobody would he able to interrupt the innocence of their forming relationship.

Looking down to his phone, he huffed at the time. "You'll have to go soon." Aaron almost whined when he spoke. He was enjoying the time they were having together and the last thing he wanted was for it to end. Gently taking her hand in his, he smiled to her. "I like having you here, though. During the free period." His eyes were shining with happiness. "And if I'm not being too forward, could we possibly have moments like these somewhere outside of school?" What was he doing? He had no clue. But he knew he wasn't going to let this girl slip between his fingers.

Katherine shrugged and laughed as she continued to exam his back. Soon, she stopped and looked to Lucas, "Making out doesn't usually lead to that." Smirking, she grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder. Today she was going to leave school early and head home. She had it all planned out. Play sick, go home and spend the rest of the day in bed. Not texting anyone or talking to anyone. It seemed like a good way to spend her free time.

Shifting her weight from foot to foot she looked to her feet then back up to Lucas. "So uh, send me a text when you wanna hang out and get to work on the project. Or if you just wanna talk. I don't mind." Katherine was stepping out of her comfort zone saying that. Normally people were dying to talk to her, but she knew it was slowly changing.

"All you have to do is ask." She softly whispered back while he kissed her forehead, causing a smile to quickly form once more. Hopefully, no one would walk in on them. Sarah knew that they would both get in trouble for something like this, especially Aaron. He could be fired. He could even be charged because she was being so selfish. It started to worry her but it was all the way in the back of her mind, not wanting to think about it for the moment.

Sarah frowned since she didn't want to leave this moment but reality was starting to come back to her. "Yeah, I know." She looked into his eyes while she spoke, admiring how calming they were. Laughing, she hoped that he enjoyed having her around during free period. "I would hope so otherwise I'd be pretty confused right now." Placing a light kiss against his cheek, she put some space in between them since she had to slowly let go of this moment. She leaned back into her seat when he reached over for her hand. "I'd love that.. It's just.. Where would we go?" Sarah questioned with a little confusion; they would have to be extremely careful.

Sliding his t-shirt back down, he turned around with a frown since he knew that making out usually didn't result to that, unless he made out with a tiger. Okay, Lucas had just confirmed that he had not only made out with someone, but he also slept with someone. Great. Hopefully, he had used a condom. He tried to wrack his brain with a sigh but nothing came up. Lucas finished up his bottle of water and then threw it into the trash can with the other part of his lunch.

"Yeah, sure. I should be free today, actually, if you want to get this thing over with." He offered with a small shrug since the faster the better. Lucas figured that she probably didn't want to spend a lot of her time with the kid that people didn't even remember.

Aaron cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck. "I... Well... Not to sound creepy or anything, but I have an apartment on the other end of town. We could possibly go there." He shrugged. He really had no clue what he was doing. He knew they had to be careful, but he was willing to take all precautions, as long as he got to spend time with her. He stood up and stretched his arms above his head. Suddenly thanking himself for going to the coffee shop yesterday. He looked down to her, "We could have dinner or something like that."

Checking his phone once more, he scanned over the texts that he had received from his ex. A few from his mother and then a few others from the home economics teacher. Rolling his eyes, he looked to Sarah. He felt like a kid in high school all over again. He had a crush, true it wasn't a legal crush, but he had one and he was excited to lose sleep due to talking to her all night.

"Sounds great! But I'm not entirely sure we could get the whole thing done in one night." Kat commented with a shrug. The project was worth two hundred points, no way in hell was she going to bullshit her way through it. Cracking her knuckles, Kat continued to think about Friday night. There were so many things that added up to her sleeping with someone, and the same went for Lucas. But she didn't want to believe that they slept together.

Kat tugged at her bag tighter. "I'm skipping the last half of the day. I'm not really up for dealing with a bunch of rumors right now." Sniffling, she ran a hand through her hair and stretched shortly after. "If you wanna skip, you can come with me. My parents aren't home and we could get a head start on our power point!" Was she really asking some kid to skip with her? Some kid she barely knew? Guess she was and she was fine with that.

She blinked when she saw how rigid Aaron was after her question, wondering what she had said wrong. "O-Oh.. I mean, it's not like we really have many choices, right?" Running a hand through her hair, Sarah felt a light blush spread across her face from the idea of being inside of his apartment. She had never been inside of a boy's room before let alone another man's apartment. Giving a small nod, she smiled while meeting his gaze. "Okay, but you're going to have to cook for me. No take-out." Sarah set a small condition since she thought it would be nice to eat his cooking.

When he looked down to check his phone, she lightly squeezed his hand since she was sure that his ex had texted him again. He always had this specific face whenever he was looking over her messages, as if he was tortured. "Are you alright?" She asked because she wanted to know what was bothering him. Sarah wanted him to know that she cared.

"As long as we pass, I could care less what happened to the rest of the project. Unless you have some other thoughts." He responded back with indifference. Right now, he had a solid C in the class and he was sure that getting a D on the project wouldn't hurt his grade that badly. Apparently, she wanted a decent grade though or actually cared about the grade.

Lucas thought for a moment since it wasn't like he had any tests for the rest of the day or anything worth staying for. "Yeah, sure. Why not. It's not like I'm going to miss something big at school, right?" He ultimately decided while grabbing his books from the ground. It was odd thinking that he was about to skip the rest of the day with Katherine Williams. This was the same type of girl that always annoyed him during class whenever she would lean over to whisper in her friend's ear or pass notes. Now, he was actually going to go over her house like they were friends.

Aaron chuckled at her comment about the food. Smiling, he looked up to her and sighed softly. "I'm fine. Just a lot on my plate lately." Taking her hand in his, he rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand while they sat there for a few moments. Thoughts were racing through his mind while he sat there and held her hand. There was something about her. He wanted to be able to hold her and take care of her. She had a big heart, from what he could tell, and she was smart as hell. Sighing, he stood up and rubbed the back of his neck. "What are you doing tonight?"

Was he moving too fast? Probably, but he wanted to be able to have her over. Maybe they could watch a movie after dinner, just so he could have his arms wrapped around her. There was something he wanted, he wanted her, more than anything. But he didn't want to just strip her naked and take her, he wanted to actually take care of her and not like a father. But like a lover. He shook his head at the thoughts he was having and chewed on his lip.

Katherine smiled at him and motioned her head to the parking lot as she began to walk to her car. "I'm kinda glad we got paired up. I needed to make new friends, and you seem to actually care about school so this will probably help my grade, like a lot." Laughing, she slid into the drivers side of her car and started it up. She began to play Of Mice & Men while she sat there for a moment. She kept thinking about the party, and then she kept thinking about how she was about to take Lucas back to her house. She was about to have a guy, in her house, without her parents knowing.

Now, she seemed like the type of girl who would have a guy over all the time, but that was a lie. She was always over at James's house, they were rarely at her house. Sighing, she chewed on her lip and ran a hand through her hair, continuously. It was becoming a habit of hers whenever she had a bout of anxiety.

Sarah could understand that his mind was probably racing at a mile a minute, and she definitely wasn't helping the matter either. Between his ex-wife and the lawyers, it probably wasn't easy to throw her into the mix. "I know.. and I know that I am also a part of that plate, too." She frowned slightly because it felt horrible to know that she only attributed to his issues. Then, the doubt started to settle in: maybe this had been a horrible idea after all. "If you need your space, don't worry about me. You have to worry about yourself right now." She admitted while looking down at his thumb running across the back of her hand. It was even harder to think that she was loving every moment of it.

"Tonight? Nothing, but between homework any everything.." Sarah trailed off, having an idea of where he was going to go with this. Of course, she would want to have dinner with him and make Aaron her personal chef, but it was a school night. She had projects to start worrying about, not to mention additional homework. It was already stressful just thinking about it. "I mean, I could do work at your house.. I just feel like it's rude though." She sighed at her inner conflict.

Lucas raised an eyebrow in her direction since he never expected Katherine Williams to say that to him. Compared to just a mere two hours ago, it seemed like she would have rather jumped off a cliff rather than work with him. "Thanks, I guess." He awkwardly responded while rubbing the back of his neck. Katherine was completely wrong about him caring about school though. Sure, he cared to some extent but not to the point where she had exaggerated. "I care enough to not fail for the year. Do you really think that's going to help?" If she needed a near perfect score to pass for the year, he certainly wasn't about to work his ass off to achieve it. A solid C is what he would be aiming for with this project. Perhaps a B-, if he was lucky.

Glancing over at her, he noticed that she was chewing on her bottom lip. It was like something was bothering her. "You okay? If you have something to do, I could just come back another day. I'm not gonna be upset." He reassured him since he had suggested the idea that they work on it as fast as possible.

He shook his head, "You can work while I cook. Its fine with me. I know you have schoolwork. Besides, it doesn't bother me. Makes me happy to know a student actually cares about their work." He smiled softly and the sat down, writing down his address and apartment number, he slipped her the paper. "8'o'clock." Aaron smiled and felt a rush of happiness come through his body. There had been so many downs lately that he had forgotten what it was like to feel happiness.

Stretching his hands over his head, he leaned back over and placed a soft kiss on her lips. Letting his lips linger near hers for a little longer than intended. He was excited for the evening, a chance to hold her and a chance for him to feel wanted and needed.

"It'll help more than if I was paired with one of my friends." Kat shrugged and began to drive down the road. She ignored his comment about them waiting for another day. She wanted to hang out with him and get their project started. She also wanted to make a new friend and hopefully figure out her wild weekend. Knowing that he would deny having sex with her, she needed to figure it out. Something in the back of her head was telling her that they had.

As she drove, a few times she glanced over to him and wondered what it would be like to kiss him.

Taking the paper into her hands, she neatly folded it into a tiny square then placed it in the pocket of her jeans. She definitely didn't want anyone finding that. "Okay, 8 o'clock." Sarah repeated and leaned forward more to meet him halfway with the kiss. Hearing the bell ring, she pulled away just in case one of his students walked in for the next class. She stood up from the desk and brushed off her skirt, flashing him a smile. "I will see you later then, Mr. Matthews." With that, she picked up her books to move onto her next class.

By the end of the day, she already had excitement bubbling inside of her for tonight. Sarah just had to get home and do as much work as possible so that she wouldn't have to it at his house. Quickly, she took her books home and went to work.

"I guess so." He shrugged in agreement and glanced over at her. For a moment, he just stared to admire her side profile. Lucas couldn't start to possibly think about the idea of actually hooking up with her at the party. Katherine would never spare him a glance before, so why would she after a few drinks? That was something that made him completely sure that nothing had happened between them. He wasn't really interested in figuring out who it had been anyway.

Getting silence back as an answer, Lucas figured that he shouldn't press the question further. She probably just didn't want to answer it at all. He looked outside the window to watch the scenery pass by while the silence started to settle in.

As he finished up his work, Aaron packed up his things and started home. He was planning on making a simple dinner for the night. Steak, potatoes and for dessert a nice chocolate cake. He had always wanted to go into culinary when he was younger, but his family had discouraged him from doing so. Leading him to the teaching path, but in a way it's a blessing because he's able to help the younger masses understand that they can do whatever they want. But he doesn't tell them that he wasn't able to do what he wants, because then his message gets muddled up.

Sighing as he drove home, he parked, went to his apartment and began to whip the meal together. The steak wouldn't take too long, but the cake and potatoes would and he wanted everything to be perfect. A bundle of butterflies erupted through his body every time he looked over to the clock and thought about how slow time was going. Finishing up, he debated on what they could drink. He was legal for champagne, but she was not. This was his only predicament.

Shrugging, he decided he'd ask her what she wanted when she got there. Running to the bathroom, he stripped and showered quickly. Making himself look more presentable as he did so. A slick, button up black shirt and a pair of well fit jeans were his choices for the night. Smirking at his picks, he set the table and lit a couple candles in the middle. She deserved to have someone treat her like a Princess and he wanted to be that person.

As Kat drove, thoughts flooded her mind. Then, she parked her car in front of her house and got out. Turning around, she waved for Lucas to follow her. Thoughts were still flooding. She was about to take a guy into her house, and they would be home alone for quite some time. Not only that, but she kept feeling as though they had hooked up at the party, even though she knew Lucas would deny that ever happening. Chewing on her lip, she opened the door and went straight to the kitchen to get some snacks and a glass of water.

'I mean, even if we did have sex, he wouldn't admit to it. Not only that, but he'd probably think I'm a whore. Ah, fuck.' Kat leaned against the counter and continued to sip her water.

About a hour before the allocated time, Sarah leaned back in her chair with a yawn to stretch her arms above her head. It was a miracle that she had actually finished her homework before she was supposed to meet up with Aaron. Luck was actually on her side for the night. She stood up from the chair to hop into the shower then dressed in a casual black dress paired with a cardigan. Of course, she had to dress up at least a little bit for a date. Sarah looked at herself quickly in the mirror to fix her hair, moving a strand here and there. Approving of her look, she tried to calm down her heart racing by repeating that everything would work out.

She left her house after leaving a note for her parents behind saying that she would be at a friend's house. That would be enough of an explanation for them to not worry. Reaching into her pocket, she found the note that he had slipped her during lunch. Aaron's house turned out to be about a twenty minute walk from hers, but Sarah found every step completely worth it.

Knocking on the door, Sarah cleared her throat and hoped that this was the right house. It would be a little awkward to explain why she was knocking on a random house in the middle of the night, especially since she was so nervous. "Hey," She greeted Aaron with a smile once he opened the door. Yep, it was the right house.

Exiting the car, Lucas grabbed his backpack and swung it over his shoulder. So this was Kat's house. It seemed nice enough like everyone else's house in the middle of town. He entered inside while following her inside of the kitchen and started to look around. There were multiple photos of her growing up filling the hallways of the first floor. "Nice." He mumbled to himself when he passed the picture of her face covered in chocolate. Unlike her, Lucas never had any of those special photos nor were they hanging up in the hallway. Those were the times when his parents were going through divorce; it was pretty horrible.

While she leaned back against the counter, he reached into his backpack to grab the history binder. "So, ghost stories, right? We should use a laptop or computer to get started."

Alan opened up the door and smiled at Sarah. Something about her brought a happiness to his life, odd because he had only known her a short time and she was his student, but his level of caring about the minor details was small. Smirking, he opened the door wide enough for her to walk inside. "Come on in, dinner will be ready in a few moments." He listened as a timer went off in the kitchen. He shut the door and walked over to the oven, switching it off he grabbed the food and made the plates for them. Walking over to the table, he smiled softly. "What would you like to drink, tonight?"

He felt comfortable having her in his apartment. After his divorce, finding someone who made him comfortable and happy was rare. Speaking of his divorce, to himself, his phone began vibrating. A phone call from his ex. Laughing silently to himself, he sent her a text: I'm enjoying my night with a lovely lady, goodbye.

Kat listened as he pointed out the need for a computer. "Up in my room is my laptop. We can just work up there, it's easier and I get better connection in my bedroom." Her mind was still in other places while she spoke. Hooking up with the hottie in her house was her main thought. Had she done it or not? She was beginning to worry. Sighing, she grabbed a bag of chips and went up the stairs to her room.

Entering the room with the black walls and numerous posters and pictures, she turned on her iHome and started softly playing metal music in the background. She took a spot on her bed and grabbed her laptop. "Take a seat anywhere." She called out the door.
