Complicated Equations

Aria chuckled and said, "Mmm, like what?" She looked up at him swinging their hands lightly. She smiled up at him showing off her own white teeth. She ran a hand through her hair with her other hand. Or well, through the pony tail part of it.

Jake yawned soflty as he started to grade more papers. How he tired of grading stuff. He would get over it though. He would need to. He popped his neck lightly. He pushed his glasses up on the bridge of his nose.

"Hm, we could talk about whatever you'd like. Your interests, your loves and hates, anything that pops up in that pretty little head of yours." His smile crinkled at his eyes. He drug her towards a bench, overlooking the lake, so they could sit together.

The bell signaling class was over rang and Ophelia gave out a sad sigh. She dreaded heading for other classes but what could one student do? She took time to get her things together, letting the other students dash out of the classroom and into the hallway. Heading up to Mr. Williams's desk with her paper in hand. "This is what I have so far." She smiled at her, holding her paper out. "I can come back at lunchtime, if you'd like," she stated, rather nervously.

"Pretty?" She asked pausing as she raised an eyebrow. "I'm so not pretty." She replied chuckling. She smiled seeing his smile. She blinked when she was pulled over towards a bench. She smiled sitting down gently. She looked at the lake and then back at him.

Jake looked up at her. He took the paper and nodded, "Well, it's not the easiest to understand so I completely get why you didn't finish it. I only had one student finish." He said. He looked back up and said, "Sure, I don't mind. Gotta being your own lunch though." He chuckled. He ran a hand through his hair lightly. He gave her a sweet smile.

"You are so very much pretty. What causes you to think otherwise?" Said Zayne, scoffing at her statement with wide eyes.

"Of course," replied Ophelia. She flashed a smile, gave a two fingered salute and wished lunch would come pretty quickly.

Aria laughed a dimpled smile on her face as she looked up at him. She said, "A lot of things. Probably having to do with low confidence levels." She smiled softly at him however. He was quite the charmer, and quite sweet.

Jake nodded and said, "See you then." He waved as he waited for his second class to get here. He had no clue why, but he wished lunch to come quickly.

"Well, I intend to wash all those insecurties away." Grinning at the girl, he brought her hand to his lips and mummered against it, "That is if you'll let me."

Ophelia knew that lunch was only a hour and a half away but that didn't stop the wait from driving her crazy. Her foot met the tiled floor in a tapping frenzy; it was the only thing that was keeping her sane. She didn't understand what had gotten into her. Usually she never acted like this about anyone, so why was she dying to go see Mr. Williams?

Aria watched him a smile coming onto her face again at his words. Her heart racing a little when he kissed her hand. She smiled and said, "How could I ever refuse?" She asked him a smile on her face as she kissed his cheek. "You're sweet." She told him.

Jake helped students here and there wanting lunch to be here already. Not only to see Ophelia but because then he could have break. Running a hand through his hand, he took watch over his students studying them as they worked out the problems. He was a history teacher.

"I like that answer, very much." He chuckled. "Maybe you would like to go ahead and head to my place and then i can start dinner for you, yes?" His accent was thick in the air. Most of the time people barely noticed since he had been in America for so long now, but he had been born and raised in the UK.

Ophelia bit her lip as she looked down at the math problems on her paper, they kept jumbling into one big mess. It was slowly beginning to give her a headache. She silently wondered if Mr. Williams was any good at math too, or if she was going to have to get a second tutor.

(It's okay. Mibba actually ate quite a few of my notifications recently, so I need to check other ones to see if that was the case there.)

Damn. They really need to make the notifications easier and stuff. )

Aria smiled and said, "Glad you do." She hummed liking his accent. She nodded and said, "Sure." She told him. "Nice accent." She grinned up at him her dimples deeply implanted into her cheeks. She stood up and said, "Lead the way, Zayne."

Jake had actually wanted to be a history and a math teacher but they had only one spot open so he settled for History. He hummed softly to himself putting grades in once more. He heard the bell ring and sighed in relief.

"Thanks," Zayne chuckled as he took her hand and led her back to his car. Again, he opened the door for her and closed it behind her then joined her on the driver's side. He made his way to a quiet part of town and pulled into the parking lot of the little apartment building. "Wait there," he said to Aria as he got out of the car. Zayne quickly made his way over to her door to open it for her. Grinning, he led her towards the building. "Here we are."

The bell rang and Ophelia made a beeline for her locker, grabbing her luch out. She made her way towards Mr. Williams's classroom. Before stepping in, she made sure there was no one else in the classroom with him. Once she saw he was alone, she made her way in. "Hey there," she said in a chipper tone, "Any good at math?" A cheeky grin upon her face.

Aria smiled nodding, "You're very welcome." She felt her smaller hand in his larger one and smiled as he led her to his car. She grabbed her jacket lightly having set it on the hood of the car. She got into his vehicle efficiently. She buckled her seatbelt for his benefit. She smiled when he said to wait there. She giggled when he pulled the door open for her. "Why thank you. Such a sweetheart." She got out gently and looked up at him quite aware of how close they actually were.

Jake got his lunch out of his desk. It was composed of a sandwich and a bag of chips along with water. He looked up and chuckled. "Yes. I'm qualified to be a math teacher as well." He said, "You're lucky day." He gave her a smile before saying, "Come on in."

Zayne pulled Aria behind him into the apartment complex and up two flights of stairs. His hand, the one that wasn't holding hers, reached into his pocket and pulled out his key. He turned the key counterclockwise and opened the door to his humble abode. It wasn't much but he was quite proud of it.

"Yay, I'm all about those lucky days." Ophelia replied as she tugged a chair up to his desk. She opened her lunchbox to pull out an apple, then whipped out her homework and layed it down. She stared at her paper, agressively, willing it to show her the answers. Of course, nothing appeared and a frown spread across her features.

Aria felt his hand pull her up the stairs. She walked behind him gently willing rarely not to trip. She looked around as she walked inside. She smiled softly and said, "Rather homey." She turned to give him a wicked grin. She set her jacket down on a table lightly glancing back to see if that was alright. "It would suck if you were a serial killer." She giggled.

Jake laughed and ate on his sandwich as he saw her concentrating. He suddenly thought of
Something. "You don't see the words all jumbled together do you?" He asked knowing she was having trouble but didn't know if it was she just didn't get it or because her mind would not allow her to.

"I suppose that would rather suck," Zayne replied, laughing lightly. "Lucky for you, I'm not." He flashed a grin in her direction and made his way into the kitchen. "So, what do you like? I was thinking spaghetti because of the whole romantic aspect but I don't want to make you anything you don't want."

"Well, sometimes the words do seem to give me a problem." Ophelia gnawed at her lip, not liking to talk about the fact that her brain wasn't normal. "I actually have dyslexia," she mumbled and picked at the peeling on her apple.

Aria laughed nodding, "It is a good thing." She smiled. She laughed hearng him and said, "Spafehitti is fine." She smiled and sat down lightly as she watched him a smile on his face.

Jake nodded and said, "That's what I needed to know." He then began to teach her it a different way maybe one she wouldn't understand. He pointed at them and wrote something in an easier manner.

"Alrighty," he replied as he went to work in the kitchen. Pulling out the ingredients from the cabinets and such. He started the water in a pot and left it to begin boiling. After that, he made his way to where she was sitting.

Opehilia nodded, listening to everything he said. Trying to soak up all the information she could. It was helpful that he had a nice voice to listen to as well.

Aria nodded. She watched him from the couch as he cooked. She ran a hand through her lovely brown hair lightly. She smiled when he came over and said, "Hello." She pokes his tummy lightly and smiled.

Jake tried to be as helpful as possible. "Did that help?" He asked ten minutes befor lunch was over. He finished his sandwich.

Zayne grabbed his tummy where she had poked him, his eyes going wide as he gasped. "How could you do that?!" He joked with her, laughing.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean, I understand more than I did before." Ophelia smiled at him. "But I still don't get this stuff. Why does school have to be so hard?" Her head went into her hands. "Everything else comes so easily to me, except my school work."

"Cause I wanted to see what kind of adorable reaction you would do." She giggled and smiled at him. She then played with his hair letting her legs hang over his lap.

"Hey, it's okay." He told her. He set a hand on her shoulder and rubbed her back. "Hey, come on I'll help you." He told her. "There's nothing wrong with you." He smiled.
