Thunderstruck <3

Tony cleared his throat and took a drink before setting his glass down again, "maybe, maybe " Tony found himself staring at her for a moment before looking at his plate which was empty, "wow I guess I was hungry after all" he laughed. "Did you want to get dessert or anything?"

Ella giggled softly, "okay you need to stop making me laugh and I'm not laughing at your face I promise, I'm just having fun" she smiled, blushing as she did so. Walking up to the stairs of her apartment, Ella took out her key and opened her door, "well, that makes sense, come on in" she smield brightly at him. Ella took off her heels and closed the door once he was inside, "do you want some water or anything" Ella thought about changing into something more comfortable or for home.

Jackson watched him closely, studying him. She then shook herself out of it knowing she was not a spy on today. She chuckled and said, "You mean, yes yes I certainly hope. Reading is food for the brain." She told him. She heard him and shook her head and said, "Nah." She heard someone ask if they wanted the check. She nodded intending on paying for her own half.

Steve grinned and said, "Awh the whole purpose of that was to make you laugh, ya know." He chuckled before raising his hands up in surrender, "I surrender." He laughed as he walked up the stairs with much ease. He nodded and said, "I hope so." He smiled back at her as he went into her apartment. "No thanks." He said as he waited for her. He didn't think sitting down in her apartment was polite, considering she hadn't told him he could. He hummed softly as he looked around.

Tony watched Jackson as she looked at him, it was a weird thing to do right? He shook his thoughts away and laughed, "I do read mostly mechanics and scientific related subjects but I do when I have to get thigns woriking or get things done" he looked up and shook his head, "I got this and I don't want to hear it, I have the money for this" he chuckled giving the waiter some money.

Ella grinned, "you're so sweet," she giggled again, "well good, because I didn't think you'd win that fight " she teased. "All right, well have a seat but before you do, mind unzipping me? I'm going to go change into something more comfortable, when I'm home I like being in shorts or whatever" she grinned turning around and waited for him. "It's just a zipper relax" she teased.

Jackson studied him once more before looking away as she hummed in the open air not really minding what people thought. Her eyes floated back to looking at him as he spoke. She sighed and said, "Scientific stuff is boring when they put it in a book. Fascinating as well as boring." She said. She sighed and said, "Fine." She crossed her arms stubbornly across her chest.

Steve chuckled and said, "That's like the sixth time I believe you have called me that, Miss. Oh, I figured I'd lose that fight." He chuckled. He nodded and went over to her, his hands warm as he unzipped her dress lightly. He stepped back and raised an eyebrow, "Not tense." He replied a smile on his face. He then went over to the couch and sat down gently, not really leaning back into the couch either.

@ The Flash

Tony grinned and shook his head, "it's pretty amazing once you get the hang of it, though it's better once you see it actually happening in front of you so I know what you mean" Tony was glad she had left her pay for their meals, it wasn't a big deal really. As soon as he got up he waited for her, "did you have anything else planned? I don't intention of going back to SHIELD I'm tired and I have other things to do, not that I don't want to keep 'shooting' you or anything but I'm sure you're tired of it too right?"

Ella turned around so he wouldn't see her blush, "I know, I can't help it. Yep you're right" she felt a chill run down her spine feeling his skin against her back. She hadn't said anything about it though, she held the front of her dressed before turning around, "you're right, I'm not quite that attractive to cause tension" she said softly, "I'll be right back" she walked into her bedroom and closed the door behind her. As soon as she took her dress off she tossed it aside and grabbed a really loose shirt and some shorts slipping them on. She grabbed a wet make up remover towelette and wiped her face clean before taking off any jewelry she had on. Once she was done she pulled her hair in a bun and walked back to the living room. "See, not quite as impressive now am I?" she walked to the kitchen to get herself some water.

Jackson raised an eyebrow and said, "I'm basically a walking mineral." She told him. "Of course I know what it's like." She chuckled. She tehn said, "I'm paying next though. You argue with me, I'll just make it to where they decline your card and I get to pay." She said raising an eyebrow. She stood up brushing herself off, just a habit. She walked out with him, stuffing her hands in her pockets. She said, "Ugh. Fury can go screw himself. I'm not being his experiment today. So no, in answer to your question, I have nothing really planned today."

Steve smiled and said, "It's alright." He didn't mind it. She had told him to stop making her blush, so he didn't compliment her again. He bit his tongue every time the urge came up. He heard her and said, "It's not that. You're stunning." He told her, but she had already disappeared. He looked up at the ceiling lightly. He heard her come back in and saw her behind all the fanciness. He smiled and said, "Beautiful with and without the fanciness." He told her. "Just like you are inside and out." He smiled at her and said, "For the record you're far cuter." He told her giving her a dimpled grin again.

@ The Flash

Tony walked out with Jackson, "I think that's cool, what's it like?" he was curious as to know more about her and what her abilities were. Not because he wanted to study her but because it sparked an interest in him. Tony let out another laugh, "fine, fine. I'll let you get next one" he knew she would argue too so he didn't bother with saying now. "Yeah, I don't feel like doing that today either, what do you do when you're out like this? I'm sure you buy books or something" he teased.

Ella had poured herself some water into a cup and took a drink before walking back to the living room, she really didn't think she was all that great looking, she crossed her arms, "you're far too polite you know that right?" she took a seat in her recliner and crossed her legs. "I appreciate the compliments though, I'm not shooting them down" she stated, holding her legs with her arms. She was sure he had seen better looking women than her and she didn't have a problem with it. She was short and weird and her face was weirdly shaped and her eyes were too close together. You're doing it again. she thought to herself, her eyes were close and she breathed in and out. Her eyes opened and looked at Steve, "so what did you want to talk about?"

Jackson hummed softly and said, "It was odd at first, but now it's like a defense mechanism." She said. She chuckled and said, "It's like having a shield to cover you always and knowing nothing can reach you." She murmured softly. She laughed and said, "Good." She said, knowing she would and could do it if she needed and wanted to. She hummed softly to herself. "I just watch everyone, wondering what it's like to not worry about threatening things. I wonder what it's like to worry about trivial things." She told him softly. She looked up at the sky and said, "Sometimes I'll just sit and watch the clouds." She smiled and said, "I think too much." She hummed. She stopped humming before saying, "I like it most in winter, because then there's snow." She chuckled again, knowing she was just rambling now.

"I may be far too polite, but it's better than not polite whatsoever." He said. He smiled gently again. He nodded and said, "You don't seem like you believe it, and you should. Because you really are stunning." He told her. He really thought she was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. He smiled to himself. He said, "Well, I can't ask my stupid question, so I'll ask my other stupid question. What's your favourite food?" He asked her a relaxed look on his face. He felt peaceful for once. He was usually always tense.

Tony simply nodded, "it's a good way to look at it, it's protects you that's great though" he understood though, when he had the metal strapped to his chest it was weird at first but he grew used to it, now he was getting used to it again, except not having it. "I can't win an argument with you can I?" he asked laughing. Tony didn't actually listen to most people but he listened to Jackson something about her just intruged him and he wanted to know more about her. "It's the simple things we take for granted and later ask ourselves why we didn't do more of that" he chuckeld softly.

Ella nodded as she listened to Steve talk, she simply shrugged her shoulders, "thanks" was all she said. No blush not a smile she just thanked him, she was having an overwhelming feeling of sadness inside and was trying to make it g o away. She raised her eyebrow, "wait.. you can't ask what stupid question?" she was curious as to what he wanted to ask her but had changed his mind. That would probably haunt her all night, Ella sighed softly. "I don't really have a favorite food, I'll eat whatever I'm in the mood for, what about you?" she let go of her legs and lied back on her recliner.

Jackson nodded and said, "It's there when no one is, I suppose." She said. "Oh dear that sounds morbid." She laughed softly. She looked around at the trees. she hummed softly again. She grinned and said, "Not many people can." She smiled again at this and said, "Don't feel bad, you aren't the first person to lose in an argument against me." She smiled again. She nodded and said, "That's why this world is not what it should be." She chuckled as she walked. She saw a park and noticed a bench and stood up on it, raising her arms out as she walked it before jumping back down.

Steve nodded and said, "You're welcome, Ella." He said using her name instead of Ma'am or miss. He watched thinking there was something wrong. He didn't persue it though simply because he was going to give her privacy. He smiled hearing her question. "The stupid question where I ask if you like me, I suppose.' He said humming afterwards. He then said, "It's stupid because I don't want you to answer it quite yet, I don't think.." He said. "I'd rather you answer after a second date, if you would give me that honor." He told her. He watched her legs before humming and said, "I like my mom's coconut pie.." He said going back in his memories.

He thought that made plenty of sense, it was like this weird force field against whatever comes her way, he shook his head. Watching her for a moment or two, "makes me feel better I guess" he chuckled. Tony watched her as she walked towards the bench and followed her, it was really weird not having his suit with him, he had it at all times. Of course if something came up he could always call it on demand, that was one of the many things he had improved on.

Ella stared off into space for a moment before looking back at Steve, "that's not a stupid question, it's a reasonable one, its kind of obvious by the way" she removed the few strands of hair in her face ant tucked them away, "I don't have to tell you at all, how about that?" she asked teasingly. "You are too polite I don't know how to handle this," she smiled softly, "yes of course, whenever your free, I know you're busy so it doesn't have to be tomorrow or even this week" she shrugged. Ella nodded, "I thought you said you weren't into desserts?" Ella thought about it, "and it's technically dessert not food, so try again" she laughed. "I think mine is anything Mexican given my heritage" she chuckled.

Jackson smiled softly and said, "Morbid as well." She told him as she ran a hand through her hair once more. She glanced at him and studied him once more and said, "You seem anxious." She said softly. She then sighed rubbing her temples, "Sorry ignore me." She chuckled. She wanted a hot shower and then a good book. She smiled. She would go for watching a movie.

Steve laughed this time and said, "I suppose not. Granted, I can't really make you tell me." He smiled. He sighed and said, "I've got a mission tomorrow but other than that my schedule is clear except for me running around and punching a bag." He said. "Yes, I know. I've been told. I have no life." He laughed softly. He smiled and said, "I'm not. She just used to make good coconut pie." He told her. He nodded and said, "Pizza. That's the best thing ever to me." He laughed and said, "Probbaly silly."

He didn't understand why she kept saying morbid he hadn't mentioned anything of that nature, he shrugged his shoulders anyway, "I'm not anxious, Ive recovered from that awhile back" he laughed. "Are you okay? did you need to go or something? You know you're more than welcome to just leave it wouldn't bother me," Tony nodded. He really didn't care she didn't have to stick around if Jackson didn't want to.

Ella shrugged her shoulders, "I guess you'll never know" she chuckled and then nodded. "Well, you're the one that asked so, what exactly are we doing or going" she could feel her phone vibrate in her pocket, she pulled it out and rolled her eyes. "Sorry, I'm being checked on like a child, she's worse than my older brother" Ella laughed, "well, maybe that's why Natasha keeps setting you on dates, so you can 'live' or whatever she calls it" Ella nodded once more, "I love key lime pie it's my favorite or lemon meringue I make killer pies" she laughed, "though I won't try making that coconut pie, I'm sure mine wouldn't be as good as your mom's" Ella pulled her hair up and looked up. "New York style right?" she asked teasingly.

Jackson hummed thinking in her own world again. She sat down and then looked up at him. She said, "Nah, you're fun to talk to." She smiled at him gently. She said, "Glad to hear you've recovered." She told him. She smiled again. She said, "I'm fine I suppose." She told him chuckling. "You should just watch people around you." She murmured softly. "Unless you already do that."

Steve smiled and said, "That's okay." He said and smiled again, "I have a feeling I won't have to ask." He chuckled. He hummed thinking. He said, "What's your favourite thing to do?" He bit his own lip for once as he thought. He chuckled and said, "She wasn't from New York. None of us were originally." He said. He smiled. "I think you could do her pie justice." He told her smiling. He felt a pang in his chest. He missed his family. Now he was alone. He shook it away, knowing that it wouldn't be like that forever, or at least he hoped not.

Tony chuckled, "well that's good to know, I don't think I'm that boring" he laughed, he nodded, "yeah thanks." It was hard to recover from the battle in New York but eventually with time he got over it and moved on, "what do you mean by that?" he wasn't quite sure what that meant. That could have been taken in any way and Tony wasn't sure what Jackson meant by that so he asked her. He looked at their surroundings, not quite a lot of people like he thought there would be.

Ella looked at him and chuckled, "oh hush, I can't be read that easily... most of of the time.. okay maybe" she pouted and crossed her arms. She cleared her throat, "um.. I don't think it's appropriate for me to answer that question" her face a bright pink, she didn't want to lie but she didn't want him knowing either. Though by how pink her face was he'd probably figure it out. "I guess not, I have heard you were Irish though so that that's cool.. why are you looking at me like that?" her face was clearly still red and it wasn't getting any better. "Listen.. I am just being honest I don't like lying especially about things pertained to me" she looked down at her hands in embarrassment.

Jackson nodded and said, "That's understandable." She had her own fair share of panic and anxiety attacks. They weren't fun, nor would they ever be. She chuckled and said, "I mean you don't have to be cooped up in your own world. It may not seem like it but just sitting down and watched people interact is interesting on it's own." She said. She said, "That's how writer and artists get their inspirations." She smiled to herself.

Don't be embarrassed for being yourself. Especially around me." He told her. He noticed the time and said, "I probably should go and let you sleep." He said. He smiled again and said, "I had a wonderful time. Thank you for choosing to spend your evening with me." He told her standing up gently. He smiled at her and said, "I'll see you Tuesday then." He said since tomorrow was Monday. He smiled again. He raised her hand before kissing It softly. He then went towards the door. "Have a nice night, Ella."

Tony remembered his anxiety attacks he would get them so often not quite as frequently though, "oh that, yeah I guess other people can think for me " he laughed shaking his head. "Do you people watch often?" he asked a smile on his face. "Well that makes sense, since you know they have to write what they see, feel or whatever other sense comes to mind"

Ella shook her head, "it's nothing." she stood up and nodded, "I suppose I should let you leave" she was going to say something about this sound like a commercial or something. The way he said spengind time with him ike she was going out of her way. She wasn't she was glad she went out with him. "thank you, I did too" she nodded. "Good night" she said softly before watching him walk out the door. Ella locked the door and want to her bedroom. He was definitely worth another shot, she quickly text messaged Natasha since she'd probably want to know.
