Between Heaven and Hell

Bella sighed as she appeared in a field near the city where the Winchester's were. She knew they wouldn't like this. She didn't like this. Castiel had sent her down there to help them on their "missions". She bit her lip gently. She had to pick a host to live in and this girl had willingly accepted. She sighed as she walked around knowing she was not going to impress them one bit. She ran a hand through her hair. She was nice and dandy until you pushed her buttons. She ran a hand through her black hair pushing it away from her emerald eyes. She then manned up and headed towards where they were staying. She saw the Motel and knew the only way to appear was to basically just appear. She made herself appear in their room. She looked at them and said, "Hi there." She bit her lip awkwardly. "Before you try and kill me, I'm an angel. I'm Bella. Castiel sent me." She told them sighing softly knowing she was making a shitty impression. She ran a hand through her hair again.

Sam was doing research. Bobby was mourning over his lost daughter and the boys were going to try and find her. Somehow she had made a deal with the devil, or a demon, and was now a demon. Sam couldn't believe it. They had grown up together. Now she was one of them. He glanced at Dean knowing he'd be drinking. He scrolled on his laptop. His baby if you would. As he scrolled down and he found an interesting article. He got distracted easily when it came to article. He sighed because it was a job. He heard something and looked up. He saw a girl standing before them. He opened his mouth to say something when she started to talk. "Jesus Christ." He sighed. He crossed his arms over his chest and glanced at Dean raising a questioning eyebrow.

Dean stared at the girl with a raised eyebrow as he took another drink, "Why did Cass send you?" Dean simply asked her as he downed another drink of his booze from the shot glass. He looked at Sam seeing the same expression along with the look that Bobby was sharing with them as well.

Cassie ran a hand through her dark brunette hair as she sat at the bar in some sleaze ball bar. She looked around downing her fourth beer as she watched the men go at their pool games and hit on women. She turned her head back missing her dad and the guys, especially Sam. No one knew her reasoning of making the deals she had made to become this shape. But she had her reasons, and it was keeping the two very men she loved more than anything safe.

@ Raven Skye;

Bella sighed and said, "Because you two need help." She said. "You're not willing to admit it, but you need it." She said softly. She noticed the alcohol and simply wrinkled her nose gently. She turned her eyes back to the boys. She sat down on a stool lightly, swinging her feet as she did so. She figured she might as well sit down with them as well. She saw Bobby and waved lightly to everyone since they were staring at her basically. She sighed and said, "Nice introductions." She muttered to herself basically. She might've been an angel but to be treated like everyone else would be nice too. She was equal to Castiel in heaven. She helped him a lot though. She didn't mind it. She watched the boy her emerald eyes piercing.

Sam raised his eyebrows hearing her. He said, "Well, you flat out just ruined Dean's ego." He chuckled lightly trying to make light of the mood. He took a drink from a shot as well. He saw her wave. He waited and heard her mutter and said, "You know us though, right?" He saw her nod and said, "Well, I guess it's proper. Sam." He then nodded his head to Dean. He wasn't in the mood to really talk. His thoughts kept going back to Cassie. He hoped Ruby tracked her down. He needed answers.

"Help. Help." Dean said shouting a little. "God fucking help me. I am going to rip Cass apart when I get a hold of him. Help, how the hell do I need help you moron." Dean shouted to the pure thin air and sighed looking back to girl. "Since you know us, then you know who I am. But to play freaking nice, Dean." He said and sat down in the chair shaking his head. "Cass." He muttered knowing his ego had been shot down by this girl angel.

Cassie turned a little hearing someone sit down beside of her. She narrowed her eyes lightly seeing Ruby there, "Cass." Ruby said ordering herself a beer. Cassie narrowed her eyes at her and growled out, "What the hell are you doing here?" She huffed pushing her beer away. "Sam wanted me to track you and so I did." Ruby bluntly said to her.

Cassie shook her head, "Tell Sam to not come. Tell him to let it go." She said as Ruby smirked, "Oh too bad. He done knows where you are, and you can't hide either." Ruby smirked pointing up as Cassie looked up seeing the symbol, "Son of a bitch." She muttered.

Bella bristled basically. She tensed hearing Dean. "Would you shut up." Cass said coming out of nowhere. She looked up at him and then back at Dean eyes wide. "You need help because you're human. Simple as that." He told him bluntly. He then said, "Now. Relax. Your ego needed to be deflated a bit anyways." He glanced at Bella and gave her a nod. "Bella will help you guys." He told him. "I expect you to treat her kindly." He said. He then disappeared. Bella sighed and said, "Don't start shouting again, please." She bit her lip lightly looking at him.

Sam looked down at his phone seeing a text message. He looked back up at Bella and winced at Dean. "God shut up!" He replied rolling his eyes. He found it funny, but he wasn't about to laugh. He saw Cass come out of nowhere and chuckled to himself hearing him. He heard him tell them to treat Bella kindly. "Hey, tell Dean that." He said texting Ruby back quickly. He then said, "I'll be back." He grabbed the keys to the car, and went out. He then started driving his look serious. Cassie... He thought.

Bella heard him say fuck and winced at his tone. He was just a ball of sunshine wasn't he? She noticed he was drinking a lot, and sighed. She heard his apology and pondered on whether it was sincere or not. She shrugged and murmured, "It's okay." She saw his smile and wondered what he was thinking. She thought to herself and said, "Well, I'm supposed to stay with you guys wherever you go location wise." She sighed.

Sam couldn't kill her. He knew that already. He gripped the steering wheel harder as he drove. He made it to the bar and got out of the car. He walked in, and saw Ruby and Cassie. Cassie...He shook his head and walked over. "Thanks Ruby. She won't hurt me. If I Need anything else I'll ask," He said watching her leave. He then turned back to Cassie and said, "What the hell Cass!?" He had a look of hurt in his eyes. Pain. He missed her.

Dean looked at her, "Meaning if we go on a job you have to go too." He said as she nodded. Dean nodded as he took another drink seeing Bobby leaving them alone, "Well then doll, buckle up cause when Sammie boy gets back we're leaving for a job." Dean smirked.

Cassie looked at Sam and narrowed her eyes, "Hi good to see you too. Blah. Blah." Cassie said in a smart ass tone cracking her neck a little sighing, "Yeah I could say the same. What the hell, having Ruby track me down and trap me?" She growled out at Sam.

Bella nodded and said, "Yes." She bit her lip again. She noticed Bobby leave and her eyes softened. She knew about his daughter. She just hoped he would be okay. She blinked hearing Dean call her doll. She sighed and said, "Well, Where are we going then?" She asked raising an eyebrow not really caring about his smirk.

Sam saw the narrowed eyes and gave a sigh. "Yeah. It is nice to see you." He murmured. "I would appreciate less sarcasm, Cass." He said tiredly. He hadn't slept for days. He couldn't. He said, "Oh come on Cassie, you should have expected that." He told her. He then stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her not being able to help it. "I'm sorry." He muttered.

"Sam has yet to tell me that one." Dean admitted to her as he set the bottle of booze down on the table. He looked at Bella and yawned a little, "Are you hungry? I am. I need some pie." He said rubbing a hand over his face heading for the door. "Coming?" He called over his shoulder to her.

Cassie kept her arms at her side when he hugged her. She felt the tears fall from her eyes as she tried to hid them but knew she couldn't when he pulled away. She could tell he hadn't slept and it was killing her that he was going through all this shit, and she wasn't able to tell him why. She could, but she had no idea where to begin.

@ Raven Skye;

Bella raised an eyebrow and said, "Nice communication skills you got there.." She watched as he set the booze down. She watched him head for the door and muttered, "Angels don't eat." She sighed and said, "I'm coming." She grabbed the bottle threw it away. "No more booze." She sighed. It just got people killed that's all it did. She walked with him and sat down once in the kitchen. "Never had pie." She admitted.

Sam pulled away after a few minutes sighing. He saw the tears and wiped them away. "Talk to me Cassie... No one but Ruby knows I'm here." He murmured hoping to convince her to tell him. He sat down and got a beer and then looked back at her. He said, "Just tell me. I don't care how long it takes." He murmured softly.

Dean looked at her, "It's good." Dean said eating the pie as he looked at her. He knew angels didn't eat and sighed a little leaning back into his chair a little, "So are you and Cass close? Or what?" Dean asked wondering things about her as he scanned her a little.

Cassie sighed knowing she was trapped till he removed part of the symbol. She remained sitting on the stool and dropped her head into her hands as she kept her face covered to hide anymore of her emotions that might escape. She removed them and looked away from Sam, "Some one was threatening you and my dad's lives. I knew it was because of me, because of Lucifer wanting me to get to you. So I made a deal." Cassie simply said. "To keep you two safe and out of harms way."

@ Raven Skye;

Bella nodded and said, "I figure since most of the population of humans like it." She said chuckling lightly. She crossed her legs lightly. She wore a tank top and some jeans. She sighed and said, "We're about equal in heaven. I suppose he's like a brother to me if that's what you're asking." She said.

Sam watched her, wanting the truth. He noticed her hiding her face, but let her knowing it was hard for her. He watched her and heard her words, his eyes widening. "Shit." He said. "Shit shit shit." He sighed and wanted to hit something. "This is because of me and Bobby?" He said frowning. "Cassie." He mumbled and suddenly thrusted his hand out and hit the bar. His knuckles cracked. He winced and sighed. "No." He looked at her with pain written all over his face. "No.." He said again feeling broken.

@ Matthew Sanders;

Dean nodded looking at her. He got the whole all angels are equal thing. He took another bite of his pie and stared at her a second more before getting a drink of the water he had gotten. He took and drunk too much beer today, and was being a complete ass to someone who was sent here to help them. He sighed running a hand over his face, "Truthfully, I am sorry for being a dick." Dean stared at her.

Cassie turned and looked at him hearing his knuckles crack as she frowned seeing the pain all over his face. She could feel the broken and emptiness that was over him. She felt the tears fall as she frowned looking at him. Seeing him hurt like he was, was killing her. "Sam." She whispered seeing him shake his head and sigh. She grabbed some ice the best she could and put it on his hand staring at him, "I won't let him hurt either of you. You two have been through enough with his ass." Cassie told him frowning.

@ Raven Skye;

Bella raised an eyebrow hearing his words, "It's okay. I threw your alcohol away." She replied smoothly. Castiel had told her how to deal with him. She pushed her raven black curls away from her face. Sighing softly, she rearranged how she was sitting crossing her legs over top one another instead. Looking back at him, she tilted her head lightly to the side her emerald eyes brightly lit as she looked at him. She waited for his next words. She studied him, noticing he had green eyes as well. She then looked down and yawned.

Sam couldn't look at her without feeling the pain. He wanted her back. He looked back at her, hearing her say his name. His hazel eyes looking at her. He heard her words and said, "You didn't have to do that though Cassie. Bobby and I would rather deal with his ass instead of not having you here with us!" He said. He looked at her and went and cupped her face lightly, "You shouldn't of done it Cassie.." He looked oh so said. Dropping his hand lightly he said, "I won't tell them I found you but you have to agree to meet me when I need to see you." He told her sighing.

@ Matthew Sanders;

Dean sat there watching her as he observed her. Something about her he just couldn't put. But something in him might actually fall for this angel. He took a drink of his water and set the glass back down staring at her. "Tired or something?" He questioned her.

Cassie sighed looking at Sam as she put her hand to his cheek, "I know you two would've. But I had to protect you two." She whispered to him as she kept her hand on his cheek and nodded. "I will." She said lightly staring at him feeling the pain she had caused as she fought back everything.

@ Raven Skye;

"Angels don't get tired." She said automatically. "Well, we don't get sleepy tired." She said after a moment. "Everyone gets tired." She played with a ring on her finger as she turned her eyes back up to meet his. She then said, "Well at least you're not angry at me for throwing away your alcohol." She observed lightly as she swung her feet. Her feet having not reached the floor in the chair she was in.

Sam reached up and set his hand on hers. They had this spark going on for years. They'd never acted on it though. "You didn't have to do anything." He whispered to her. He heard her and relaxed a little. "I have to go back soon. Dean will be wondering where i am." He said. He reached forward and pressed a kiss to her forehead his expression pained.

Dean nodded his head to Bella knowing she was right. They didn't get sleepy tired, but some what tired. Dean stretched a little yawning wore out himself, "Booze doesn't bother me. I can get more." He told her getting up and tossing his paper plate away as he looked back at her and smiled. "I think I am going to hit the sack." He smiled lightly at her as he took and started for the stairs, "You're welcomed to stay in the room I am in, if you wish." He told her before disappearing.

Cassie frowned keeping her hand on Sam's cheek. She felt his lips press to her forehead as she sighed a little. She didn't want him to go. It'd been a year and she didn't want to be apart from him any longer. But she truly had no idea how her dad let alone Dean would react to her being there. Especially her being a demon now. She looked at Sam and pressed her lips to his, wanting to do it for so long.
