Oh, Calamity!

Noel bit her lip, she didn't want the ride to be awkward so she thought of things to talk about, anything except the tiny human growing inside of her. "So...Hows the album? All wrapped up?" She asked softly, wondering in the back of her mind if he was still going to be at her big show the next night.

Benji grabbed her hand and lead her out the front door smiling widely as he saw that it was snowing. "It's snowing love!" He said and lead her outside. "Hey...Have you talked to Noel lately? Since her and Micah broke up?" He asked his fiancee as they passed a poster for her show on a lamppost.

Micah smiled, knowing she had to be hiding something from the way she was acting. "Got it finished today actually. Now, we just have to wait for the release party and then it's onto the next project," he said as he turned out of the parking lot. "Is that show of yours still on? I can't remember the of the top of my mind."

Victoria nodded. "Yeah, I have. She isn't doing very good. She misses him," she said. "I want to beat in his face, but it's not my business to get in that mess. Have you talked to Micah? Does he feel bad for what he did?"

Noel smiled to herself, he had seemed so different, like the Micah she had fallen in love with when she first moved here. "That's awesome. Yeah...Tomorrow is the opening show and then Friday and Saturday and then I'll probably be taken a year off doing shows."

Benji laughed lightly at her words and nodded. "He does...He never meant to hurt her, he just has some issues of his own to work out." He said with a sigh. "I'm not really sure if they are better off together or apart!"

Micah looked at her. "I'm sure I'm gonna go to the shower. Taking a year off?" He asked looking over at her. He was surprised to hear that. He noticed that she looked a little different than when he last saw her.

Victoria looked at him. "Micah had always had issues, way before getting with Noel. I kind of doubt that he will ever get married. I think it had something to do with him growing up and the relationships he had before her. I can just hope that he pulls himself together," she said, remembering how Micah was back in high school.

Noel bit her lip she was starting to feel guilty. "I-I'm pregnant Micah." She said in a small voice. "I don't want anything from you, I just had no one else to call about my car...Don't worry no one knows it's your baby and I plan to keep it that way." She murmured as he pulled up in front of her apartment. "Thanks for the ride."

Benji nodded. "Well I'm sure Noel is sad now, but she will get over him and move on, she's a smart girl." He said and smiled. "They were together for a year, but they will move on and who knows maybe one day they will be friends."

"Wait, Noel," Micah said. "You are just telling me this. You know I love kids and I want to be a part of its life and yours." He looked at her. His brown eyes searched her face. "Please don't be afraid of telling me something like that." He gave her his award-winning smile.

Victoria shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe they will be friends and maybe they will just be exes. I don't know if it will be good for them friends with them being so off and on," she said.

"Wait, Noel," Micah said. "You are just telling me this. You know I love kids and I want to be a part of its life and yours." He looked at her. His brown eyes searched her face. "Please don't be afraid of telling me something like that." He gave her his award-winning smile.

Victoria shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe they will be friends and maybe they will just be exes. I don't know if it will be good for them friends with them being so off and on," she said.

Noel instantly felt tears pooling in her eyes. "You don't want to be in my life...All we ever did was fight...And you obviously didn't want me...It was clear to see that the day I found that bra." She murmured and slipped out of his car. "You have the right to be in your child's life and that's not something I would take away from you...I'll keep you updated on the baby."

Benji sighed a bit. "Well that's true but it makes it a little awkward because we're all friends...Or we were all friends..." He said and squeezed her hand. "I just wish them all the happiness I have with you..."

Noel instantly felt tears pooling in her eyes. "You don't want to be in my life...All we ever did was fight...And you obviously didn't want me...It was clear to see that the day I found that bra." She murmured and slipped out of his car. "You have the right to be in your child's life and that's not something I would take away from you...I'll keep you updated on the baby."

Benji sighed a bit. "Well that's true but it makes it a little awkward because we're all friends...Or we were all friends..." He said and squeezed her hand. "I just wish them all the happiness I have with you..."

"Noel, that was a stupid mistake. I want you, and I want you in my life. I'm not saying that we should get back together immediately. We need time together as just friends and not have the pressure that a relationship can bring. I know we aren't perfect and that we each have our own flaws. We can work on them together," Micah said, reaching for her arm. "Do you really think that if I didn't want to be in your life, I would be giving you a ride right now?" His brown eyes looked into hers.

Victoria nodded. "So do I," she said. "It is just hard to think that they never got along like we do. I guess every relationship isn't the same." She shrugged her shoulders because there was nothing that she could do about it. She just smiled at Benji and glanced around the park.

Noel chewed on her bottom lip and nodded slowly. "Okay..." She whispered and grabbed her things as she got out. "I'm starving, thanks for the ride, Micah." She said and headed toward her apartment building.

Benji shrugged and continued to walk around the park. "So what should we do for your birthday, love?" He asked referring to her upcoming birthday in a few days.

Micah watched her walk into the apartment building. He drove to his apartment. He walked into his apartment trying to not think about what was going on with him and Noel.

Victoria looked at him. "Surprise me," she said. "You always think of great things to do." She smiled at him as she walked next to him. There were a few other people around them, but she was only focusing on Benji.
