Jordan sighed as she walked around the garage, her uncle owned the shop. she knew it was a front for the gang he was apart of. Her mind was on the cop from yesterday, she wondered how much he knew about her family. Biting her lip she pulled her phone from her pocket, looking down at the vibrating device. Sighing she ignored the call, thinking it might be best just to get a new phone all together. Though she really didn't know what this town had to offer any more. It had grown some since she left, but it was still smaller than what she was use to. Sighing she wished she knew some body here her age that she could hang out with. Or better yet show her around.

Jace finally pulled himself from bed and got ready, he had to make a run down to Sam's garage. They'd been more active lately, and he needed a heads up, because last night was a close call. He knew the sign but he figured it was just a bunch of the gang members kids trying to follow in their foot steps. But her, she was older than he expected. Much older, the car slowly as he pulled into the pit out front of the garage.

Going back to the station, he heard some gossip about the return of one of the Datons. Christian had heard about their gang of a family who had terrorized the town for some decades. The police had drove them out of the town at one point, only leaving a few inactive members behind. He thought that it was a bit coincidental that that the Jordan girl had come back at the same time. She seemed as harmless as a fly though. He ruled it out completely, settling into his desk. "So, what's on the agenda today?" He asked his fellow cop who sat across from him. The other cop explained that he would be patrolling a different route for a change, just as precaution for the rumors.

Trinity grabbed something to eat and started to review the plans that they had for tonight. They had to be quick about grabbing the things that the needed. Their guy on the inside had to call the cops and pretend like he was an innocent victim in all of it. She sighed because she had the most difficult task of running to the back to grab some electric cables. The other females weren't as strong as she was and the men were already carrying heavier items. Quickly, night fell and they started to put the plan into action.

Jordan smiled at her aunt as they stepped from the phone company. Her aunt didn't ask why she wanted a new phone, their family was always doing things like that. She couldn't help but feel so at ease here, all her troubles seem to fade away. "How about some food?" Her aunt asked, before wrapping her arm through Jordan's and leading her towards one of the original diners. Jordan had physically relaxed, feeling safe.

Once Jace finished with his business, he text Christian to see if he wanted to meet up for lunch. The last week or so they've been so busy doing nothing. Since there wasn't many police officers they'd been pulling different shifts. Sighing he sat in a booth, looking over the menu as he waited for Christian to show.

Watching the stores pass by, Trinity wondered if the other cop was going to show up. A small grin made its way to her face at the idea of a chase. It was thrilling. She got out of the car once they stopped in front of the store while they split up to grab the supplies. The clerk acted with surprise and waited a few minutes before calling the cops. Trinity ran to the back of the store and started to look around for the electric cable but couldn't find it. They must have just moved them somewhere else. Silently, she cursed before running off into a different direction to look around.

Christian just returned back to the station once he felt his phone buzz and saw that Jace wanted to meet up for lunch. Figuring that it was his lunch break anyway, he went to the local diner to meet up with him. "Hey, Jace." He greeted while sliding into the opposite seat. He was probably one of the few cops he could consider that he was friendly with. The other cops had their heads stuck up their asses. After finishing up with lunch, he heard the sound of his radio going off, telling of a robbery and calling all units. "We should go."

Jace nodded, before taking another swig of his drink. "So much for a day off." He chuckled, before standing up. He threw down some cash before following Christian to the door. Before they could reach the door, it opened. Revealing Sam's wife, she stepped in followed by a younger brunette. "Jordan?" Jace nearly gasped, he couldn't believe she was back in town. He and Jordan had grown up together. She would have graduated with him had her family not move out of town.

Jordan stared at Jace, she couldn't believe her eyes. Not to mention the cop from yesterday was standing beside him. "Jace." She said shocked, she couldn't believe he'd stayed after all the talk of them leaving. She smiled at him before moving away from him and over to a seat with her aunt. She really didn't want to deal with any of the drama that would come.

Christian was about to reach for then door when it opened by itself with two women walking inside. Taking a step back, he was about to let the two pass by when he saw the girl from yesterday. Jordan. He paused to look at the girl but furrowed his eyebrows when Jace recognized her. As much as he would have liked to talk about how he knew her, Christian realized that they had an emergency. "Jace, we have to go. Now." He pressured the other cop with a frown but glanced over at Jordan once more.

Trinity found the electrical cables in the back of the store inside of the storage area. Of course, they were at the top of the shelf where she couldn't reach. Her other gang members were waiting for her to finish up since heyt could hear the sirens in the distance. At this rate, she was going to be screwed. She climbed up the shelf, grasping the cord with one hand before giving it a yank. Trinity jumped back down but landed hard on her ankle. She felt a stinging while running off towards the cars.

Jordan watched as Jace and the officer exited the diner. "Who is that officer?" She asked her aunt, turning her attention to her. "He was like quizzing me yesterday when I stopped at the gas station." She enlighten her aunt so she didn't think anything more. "That's Taylor." Her aunt said, shrugging. "Noisy bastard." She continued. "Just steer clear of him."

Jace moved to his car grabbing his gun, badge and cuffs from the glove box before getting in the patrol car with Christian. "What's going on?" He asked, clipping his badge to his belt and pocketing his cuffs. His heart rate accelerating, usually the only time he's called in is when a wreck happened or there's going to be a hold up.

Trinity practically hopped her way out of the back door when the authorities showed up in the front. With that, the rest of her gang members filled into the car and left her behind with the electrical cable. They could just find another way to get it without her. She dropped down to the ground with a yelp of pain, immediately grabbing her ankle. She couldn't believe that they had just left her like that - her own family. There was no way that she was getting out of this one.

Christian cursed when he saw the car drive off but they still had to secure the rest of the perimeter. "It was a robbery. That gang from the other day broke in about ten minutes ago and threatened the clerk. You get the outside while I go in through the front." He said before moving off not wanting to waste anymore time talking. Going inside of the store, he found the clerk curled up in a ball on the ground. He seemed to be alright though.

Jace held his gun as he trailed around the building. Stopping in his tracks he stared ahead of him. Laying on the ground was a girl, his heart was in his throat. "You just don't give up do you?" He question, moving to stand over her. He bit back a smile, before kneeling down looming over her. "Are you hurt." He asked her, watching as she shook her head, of course they play tough. "Good." He smirked pulling his cuffs from his pocket, "now I get to use these."

Jordan moved through the small town her feet carrying her where ever. She didn't know where she was going nor did she care. Her eyes scanned the streets looking through the houses, the neighbors were nice, though none of the houses seemed to be for sale. She might have to by a fixer upper and see if her uncle could spare some of his goons to fix it up.

She silently cursed when she heard the sound of someone coming around the corner. It had to be a cop. Letting go of her ankle, Trinity stretched out her leg in front of her. Maybe she would be alright. "No, just had a bit of bad luck is all." She responded back with a sweet smile. She shook her head in response to his question since she was going to be fine.. hopefully. "Lucky you, huh." Trinity explained as she started to stand up from the ground with a sigh. The worst she would get was a few days in jail she reminded herself.

After securing the rest of the building, he went to find Jace with the only girl who had been left behind. "Great, you caught her." He left out a sigh of relief since they had someone to question back at the station. Christian ran a hand through his hair since this meant that there would be yet another report to write. "Let's put her in the back of the car and drive back." He tucked his gun back into place before moving over to let Jace through.

Jace frowned as she stood, noticing she was favoring her left foot. "Your hurt." He said, putting his cuffs away. Moving to her side he helped her to the car, ignoring Christian entirely. "Well it looks like they'll have to wait." He whispered into her ear, as he wrapped his arm around her waist giving her some stability.

Jordan's phone started going off, pulling it from her pocket she answered with out looking at caller ID. "Hello." Her voice soft and hoarse from lack of use. "Hey baby." His voice sneered over the phone. Dropping the phone she watched as the back popped off and the battery flew out. How the hell did he get her new number. With shaking hands she grabbed the pieces of her phone. Then she started looking around, her eyes searching the empty street. Looking into cars making sure they were empty. Her paranoia getting the best of her.

She frowned since he had noticed that she was hurt. "I-I didn't ask for your help." Trinity objected with a frown but hopping about wasn't working in her favor. With his warmth breath against her ear, he felt his arm slid around his waist to provide support. "Don't think I owe you or something like that." She added on before putting an arm around his shoulder to move over to the car.

Christian shook his head when Jace completely ignored the fact that she was still a criminal in a robbery case and a part of a gang. He wasn't thinking like a cop but thinking with his heart. "Just.. get her down to the station whenever." He sighed before taking his car back to the station to write the incident report.

Jordan made it back to her aunt and uncle's, she placed herself down on the curb out side. She was still shaken up from hearing his voice. And she knew if she went in side her uncle would know something was wrong immediately.

Jace sighed, before moving her to his car. "I didn't have that thought in my mind." He told her honestly. "Though now that you mention it." He smirked over at her, jokingly. Before opening the back door to his car, helping her in. Leaning down he smiled at her. "I wouldn't do anything you wouldn't want me to do." He informed her before closing the door.

On the way back, he couldn't help but notice that there was a lady sitting on the side of the road. It was strange and he was automatically worried that someone had happened. Christian pulled over a few inches away from the curb and got out of the car to see that the lady had been Jordan. They were running into each other all day. "Hey.. Are you alright?" He questioned, kneeling down to be leveled with her.

Trinity looked over at him completely unconvinced that some dirty thought hadn't crossed his mind. "Yeah, yeah. Of course you do." She sarcastically replied back and sat down in the back of the police car, looking around at the interior. Too many times she had ended up in the back of the same type of car. When he leaned forward, she caught a whiff of his cologne and swallowed. "Just get to driving me already." Trinity countered when she turned in the seat.

Jordan heard the car pull up, her eyes wide as she stared at the car. A sigh leaving her lips when she noticed Taylor stepping from the car. She didn't know being in a small town would warrent so many visits. Shiftin gshe looked at him, she didn't know anything about him, she just hoped her pale face didn't give away her direst. "I'm fine." She asured him, though it came out weak.

Jace smirked back at her. "As you wish." He told her, his eyes staring at her through the rearview mirror. Onc ehe noticed her eyes on his, he sent a wink her way. "So is this going to be a reoccuring thing?" He asked, after a few moments of silences.

Just from the look on her face, Christian could tell that she was anything but fine. He sat down on the curb beside her with a sigh while looking out into the distance. "You don't have to tell me what's bothering you, because it isn't my business, but I do know that you're not fine. All I need to know is if there's anything I can do to help." Christian glanced over at her when he was finished with his sentence hoping that she would say something.

Trinity looked out the window of the back seat as the scenery passed by and wondered what her fellow gang members were doing. They probably forgot all about her by now. Shifting her gaze back to the front, she met the cop's gaze in the mirror and rolled her eyes. "You're just lucky that I am here in the first place. So, no, it isn't." She responded back as her gaze shifted downward to her ankle that was still throbbing. This ankle was the whole reason why she was in this backseat.

Jordan shifted looking up at him, "I'm fine." She told him. "Just a bit shaken up." She explained, further. She didn't want her past following her. Sighing she stared back down at her hands, she didn't want to explain why she was shaken up. Shrugging at the last thing he said, she really didn't think there was anything he could do to help, it would only make things worse.

Jace smirked back at her. "No, I'm not lucky." He told her. "If I was you'd be handcuffed." He said before licking over his lips. There was hundreds of thoughts flying through his head, all involving handcuffs and her.

Christian nodded his head but couldn't just leave her there on the curb; it was against his principles. Leaning forward slightly, he rested his elbows against his knees. "Well, if you change your mind, call me any time." He reached into his pocket to bring out a card with a small smile, holding it out to her.

Bringing up her hands, she wiggled her fingers just shoving in his face that she wasn't handcuffed. "Wouldn't you like that." Trinity sighed before returning her gaze out the window, letting the cop's mind wander where it wanted. It wasn't going to be that easy to get her to bend over.

Jordan looked from the card to his face, before excepting the card. She knew he'd be the last person she'd call, but knew he wouldn't leave her alone if she didn't except it. "Thanks." She muttered, before hearing her uncles voice. "Daton, get in here." He yelled at her, sighing she stood. Offering the him one last smile before trailing into her uncle's house.

Jace chuckled as he shook his head, pulling up outside the police station. Exiting the car he moved around the back, helping her from the back of the car. "How is it I'm stuck booking you on my day off?" He asked, knowing she would have no idea.
