"No, it's okay," Kaleigh said shaking her head. She gave him a small smile, looking back ahead. "I'll manage. It's not that much further, look, I can see it." I was a pretty decently sized train station, but it looked run down and old. Kaleigh wasn't sure what they'd do, probably pick a platform and sit on a bench and watch people go by. Hopefully the building part of the station she was seeing extended to the actual platforms. It wouldn't be much warmer than outside, but at least it would be sheltered a bit.
"Yeah, sound's good," James replied, nodding. The first store they walked by was a large pretzel shop, something that James had never seen before. It smelled great, though. "You don't happen to have muggle money on you, do you, love?" James asked, slowing slightly to look at the pretzel menu that you could see from outside the shop.

"You sure? It's really no problem," Remus said, taking the hem of his sweater and tugging up on it lightly. Unless it was absolutely freezing, the cold rarely bothered him. One of the perks of turning into a werewolf once a month. "So are we going in and keeping an eye out, or staying outside? Because if we're stuck outside, you're taking the sweater and I won't let you argue with me about it." The last thing that he wanted was for her to become ill because he hadn't pushed her enough to take his sweater.
Lily's heart was fluttering rather pathetically in her chest when he called her love. She paused, reaching into the pocket of her trousers before pulling out a couple of crumpled bills. "I think just enough for us to split one, if you wanted to," she said, looking between him and the shop. "Have you never had a pretzel before?" She asked, surprise lacing her tone. It always surprised her when muggle things didn't translate over into the wizarding world.

"I'd like to see you try to put your sweater on me," Kaleigh chuckled as they reached the train station. She pulled open the door and stepped in, reading a sign right away that said 'platforms, this way' with an arrow. She started down a set of stairs, where the arrow was pointing. "You can keep your sweater. Even if its outside, I'm not taking it and letting you get cold because I was an idiot and didn't bring warm enough clothes."
James shook his head, his eyes back on the menu. "No... I haven't. There's cheese ones? That's wicked." Half the menu sounded amazing. He knew this wasn't anywhere near their current objective, but hey, they needed to blend in with the crowd, right? What better way than to look like a couple of muggles enjoying a pretzel.

Remus quirked a brow at her. "I could totally put a sweater on you. I could take you down in a second, Kal," he said with a grin. He followed her down the stairs, shaking his head at her. "Seriously, I don't get cold. And I'm not just saying that to be all masculine. It is almost physically impossible for me to get cold. It's in my genes, or something."
Lily let out a quiet laugh, her amusement at his awe showing. "The cinnamon sugar ones are the best, though," she murmured softly, motioning to it on the menu. "And if we get a small cup of the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, I should still have enough to get you a cheese one, if you wanted it," she suggested, smiling up at him.

[i just got home and i gotta go to bed now but ill reply to the other two when i get off work tomorrow!]

"We'll see how cold I get," Kaleigh said, knowing she wasn't going to let him give her his sweater. Staying warm in his genes or not, Kaleigh wasn't going to let him catch a cold or something. She'd manage. She'd just dance around or rub her arms a lot. She wasn't sure. She'd figure it out if they were in a cold spot.
"Yeah, okay," James said with a nod, looking to Lily with a smile. "You're the best, Evans, really." James grinned and pulled her into the pretzel shop, standing behind the person who was currently ordering. He was going to leave the talking to Lily, he didn't want to sound like a complete knob who didn't know what he was doing, after all.

    [that's cool! no worries! Cute]

Remus shook his head at her, but didn't bother saying anything else. He'd get her into his sweater one way or another. He couldn't remember the last time that he'd actually been sick. He chalked it up to being a werewolf. He carved a hand through his hair, sighing as he followed her. "So is this going to be inside or out?" He asked her, feeling a slight gust of cool air. She was definitely getting his sweater.
Lily laughed softly, giving him a shrug of her shoulders. "It's a couple of pretzels, James. It's nothing," she said sheepishly. She allowed him to pull her in, taking in all the delicious smells. She waited until they were motioned to step forward, and she gave a polite smile to the guy at the counter. "Can we get a thing of the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, and a pretzel with cheese, please?" She held out the money to the guy, realizing just how hungry she was.

"It's totally outside," Kaleigh replied as they reached the bottom of the stairs. There were arrows pointing towards other staircases at the end of tunnels, all pointing up. Kaleigh walked to number four, and started up the stairs. "Yeah, it's outside," Kaleigh said for certain, seeing the light from outside coming in through a glass door on the platform.
"You're still the best," James replied, giving her hand a little squeeze as he smiled at the guy who took their order. James was more excited than he knew he should be. He'd had some great food over the years, and a pretzel probably wasn't going to top it. But damn, did they ever smell like heaven on earth.
