Addy knew she was home alone so once she got to her room she closed her door and stripped naked. But he had no choice. "Alright, alright," he huffed. "I'll sign them when I get home." He hung up and rubbed the bridge of his nose before he walked back in to continue playing.

"You didn't have to cook," he said, walking over and kissing the top of her head before he ruffled her hair and grabbed a coke out of the fridge.

Addy rolled her eyes as she attempted to fix her hair. She walked over to her dad, purposely messing up his hair before she went back to cooking. "Did she call you at all today," the brunette asked. "She keeps blowing up my phone but I refuse to answer her." Addy was pissed at her mom for leaving her dad. Brian still loved Michelle so much, Addy could see that just like she could see that since she was around ten her mom started falling out of love with her father.

"Yeah, about an hour ago," Brian said. "I told her I'd sign the papers today." He was honestly considering getting hammered and using that as an excuse for why he didn't sign the papers again, but he knew Michelle would come over and force him to sign the papers if he kept doing that. He leaned against the counter, taking a sip of his coke. "I'm gonna miss you." He'd always had a strong bond with Addy ever since she was born. He loved her more than life, and the fact that he was losing her like this hurt a lot.

Addy frowned, feeling tears begin to form in her eyes. "I don't want to live with her," she exclaimed. "She doesn't understand me like you do dad." She set the timer for the chicken before she moved to sit on the counter, wiping her eyes when tears fell down her face. "Can't you talk to your lawyer again and see if you can just get full custody of me because at this point even getting emancipated is more of an option than living with her." Addy would probably run away if she was forced to spend every week with just her mom. They never got along like she and her dad did.

Brian frowned. "I already tried," he said, walking over and wrapping his arms around her. "Your mom isn't okay with that, so I have to settle for joint custody." It was different because Addy was a teenager, not a baby or a toddler, so it had to be tougher on her, than on a child. And it was a lot more complicated too. "We're lucky your mom settled for joint custody and not full custody. I know you two don't have much in common but she loves you so much." He pulled away and smiled halfheartedly at her. "It's just something we have to cope with for the next three years. But when you turn 18, you can go wherever you want."

Addy shook her head. She didn't want to be stuck with her mother four days a week for the next three years of her life. Sometimes the brunette could barely stand a second with her how in the hell did anyone expect more than that from her. She warped her arms around her dad, hugging tightly as she began to cry. "I hate her," she sobbed. "I don't want to live with her. I just want to runaway and hide the days she's supposed to have me."

Brian frowned deeply. "Don't say that, Addy," he said, pulling away from her. He wiped her tears and sighed softly. "Your mom has done so much for you, gone through so much for you. She loves you." He crossed his arms over his chest. "Now, you need to promise me that you'll do this or I won't let you come back."

Addy glared at her father. She moved down off the counter and shoved past her father. "The chicken will be done when the timer goes off," she mumbled. "I'm going for a walk." The brunette stormed upstairs to her room, sliding on some socks and vans plus her house keys and ID before she stormed back downstairs and put of the house. After all the hurt her mother was putting her father through she was beyond upset he was defending her.

Brian sighed heavily and rubbed his face. He knew there was nothing else he could do about the custody problem, but he was also afraid that if he let Adelaide go with Michelle, she would never want to see him again. Either way, he had no say in the matter and he couldn't let this keep dragging on. He walked down to the studio and grabbed the papers off the desk, reading them over for the hundredth time before he finally signed them.

Addy walked around the neighborhood managing to calm down after about ten minutes of walking around. She heard the timer go off as she walked inside the house, petting her dad's little Maltese before she checked the chicken and took it out of the oven. The brunette walked into her dad's studio and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. "I made you your favorite."

Brian looked up at Addy and sighed softly. "Thank you," he murmured, patting her back. He stood up and walked upstairs, making himself a plate before he sat down to eat. He ate slowly, trying not to think about all the things that were going on in his life right now. He tried to think about the positive things, like how good of a cook Addy was.

Addy ate her own food quietly, trying to think of ways to talk her dad out of making her stay with her mom. "Dad can we go to the beach tomorrow?"

Brian smiled at Addy and nodded his head. "Yeah, sure," he said. He continued eating, keeping to himself most of the meal before he stood up and cleaned his plate when he finished. He looked at her and sighed softly. "I'm gonna watch TV." He walked to the living room, planning on just sleeping in the recliner that night.

Addy smiled back at her dad, quietly finishing up her food and washing her plate. She made her dad a semi-strong alcoholic drink, handing it to him before she went up to her room. Brian turned the TV on shortly after he finished his drink, leaving netflix running one of his favorite shows. He grabbed Pinkly and headed upstairs, stopping in the middle of the hallway when he heard Adelaide grunting and making other noises. He frowned and put Pinkly down, walking over to her door and knocking gently on it before he opened it. He stopped and stared at what he saw, his eyes widening when he realized what she was doing. He quickly slammed the door shut and turned, walking into his room and rubbing his eyes.

Addy jumped startled when she heard her door slam. She turned her vibrator off, knowing her dad must have caught her and hid the toy before she got dress again.
