Brian shook his head. "No," he said. "I just shut your door. I thought you were asleep." He wanted to try to avoid this as much as he possibly could. He didn't want to know how or why she knew about that stuff and how she managed to get a vibrator. He smiled slightly. "I'm gonna go to bed."

Addy nodded, pressing a kiss to her father's cheek. She scratched behind Pinkly's ear as she walked out, stripping naked again once she was in her room once again. The brunette got under her covers, deciding to just go to bed since they were going to the beach in the morning.

Brian rubbed his face and got under the covers after changing, holding his head in his hands. He eventually fell asleep after a while, glad that he could be away from his thoughts for a while.

Addy woke up even before her dad usually did and made coffee and breakfast. The brunette changed into a bikini, braiding her hair and pulled on some sunglasses. She sat down at the kitchen table and started eating her breakfast.

Brian woke up to wet kisses from Pinkly, smiling as he opened his eyes and looked at her. She barked at him and he rolled his eyes, sitting up and stretching out. He yawned softly and pulled some clothes on before walking downstairs.

Addy heard Pinkly's feet pitter patter against the tile, grabbing a coffee cup when she did and made it just like her dad liked it. She was trying really hard at this point to stay on his good side and even suck up to him a little because this divorce was going to make her miserable.

Brian rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he walked downstairs, yawning softly. "Are you trying to bribe me or something?" he asked when he smelled the coffee.

Addy quickly shook her head, handing him his cup and made herself her own. She dumped tons of flavored creamer in it and began sipping it. "I wanted coffee so I figured I'd make some for you too," she replied. She set her coffee cup down, picking up Pinkly and carried her around while she got the dog her own breakfast. She set the food bowl down for Pinkly, making her give her kisses before she let her eat.

Brian watched Addy closely, still thinking about what he saw last night. He vaguely remembered her calling Matt's name and he made a face, covering his mouth and pushing his coffee away. He got up and walked into the living room, trying to take deep breaths to ward off the sudden wave of nausea that had just hit him.

Addy noticed her dad rush out of the kitchen and frowned. She set her fork down and followed her dad. "Dad what's wrong? Did I not make your coffee right?" She could tell he looked naseous and that started worrying her. "You don't look so good. Do you need to lay back down?"

"Just . . . go. I'm fine, okay," Brian said, turning away from her and rubbing his face. He sat down on the couch and held his head in his hands. His daughter was attracted to his best friend. The thought made him so sick for some reason. Maybe it was the fact that she masturbated and pretended it was Matt.

"Should I just have Matt and Val take me to the beach instead," Addy asked. She still wanted to go to the beach but if her dad wasn't feeling well she wasn't going to force him to go.

"No," Brian snapped, standing up and looking at her. "I'll take you. I just need a minute. I'll be okay." He sighed softly and went back to the kitchen to finish his coffee.

Addy jumped slightly, shocked that her dad had snapped at her. Not even when she was little had he ever snapped at her or raised his voice at her. She quickly rushed upstairs to grab her things, almost not wanting to go now because her dad had snapped at her.

Brian frowned slightly, realizing he might be overreacting a little. He stood up and walked upstairs, knocking on Addy's door. "Addy, I'm sorry," he said.

Addy set her bag down, frowning as she opened her door. "Just forget about the beach I just realized I have some homework I need to do," she lied. The brunette put all of her stuff away and change into her everyday lounging clothes of booty shorts from Zacky's clothing line and an oversized band tee.

Brian shook his head. "Addy, wait," he frowned. "I want to go to the beach with you. I didn't mean to snap, it's just . . . I'm really stressed out."

Addy opened her door again after she finished changing and left it open, pretending to do a school assignment she had already finished the the day before. "School is more important than the beach," she mumbled. "Besides I gotta get myself used to being disappointed thanks to being forced to live with mom during the week."

Brian frowned. "Don't be like that, Adelaide," he said. "You know there's nothing I can do. I already tried. You need to grow up and come to reality, because this is how things work in the real world. You don't always get what you want."
