Seize the Day

Brian laughed at her statement shrugging, "True." He grinned at her leaning in and kissing her again. "So from here, where do we go?" Brian asked not sure about where they went from here.

Lucy smiled at him, "I am positive that I will have a blast." She assured him smiling.

Sage laughed softly, "Where do you want to go from here?" She asked, looking at him, fine with whatever he would decide.

Jimmy grinned, "I think you will too, I planned this around stuff you used to like so I hope you haven't changed a whole lot."

Brian smiled at her, "I'd like to be more than just friends." He admitted to her.

Lucy smiled at him, "I haven't changed any Jimmy. She grew up a little more." She grinned at him.

Sage smiled brightly at his words, "Good, because I'd like that too." She told him honestly.

"Of course you grew up, I on the other hand, not so much." He chuckled, "I mean, there are things that I've grown out of, but I'm really just a big kid."

Brian grinned at her and lent across the table again kissing her lips.

Lucy laughed lightly, "That's the best kind of man." She grinned at him.

Sage smiled into the kiss, she couldn't think of a time when she had been happier than she was right in that moment.

Jimmy chuckled, "I'm glad you think so." He smiled over at her, "Because certain people don't think that."

Brian smiled pulling back and looking at her, "You truly are amazing, Sage." Brian told her lightly.

Lucy looked at him, "Well those people are idiots." She told him.

Sage laughed softly, "I wouldn't say I'm amazing." She smiled over at him, "This is really nice. I'm really happy we're here."

Jimmy smiled, "True, they just can't handle how awesome I am." He chuckled, "But that's they're loss, ya know?"

Brian grinned at her, "I am too, Sage." Brian smiled at her as he saw the waiter place their food in front of them.

Lucy nodded smiling, "Their lost, but my gain." She smiled at him.

Sage smiled and thanked the waiter before taking a few bites of her food, she didn't want the dinner to be awkward, but she also didn't want to talk with her mouth full of food. Once her plate was empty, she wiped her face with a napkin and smiled at Brian, "Thank you for dinner."

Jimmy nodded, "And in all honesty, there's really no one else I'd rather be spending time with right now. Hell, I'm surprised I'm even out on a date with you, I never thought it would happen, ya know?"

Brian finished his food up wiping his mouth off. He heard Sage and smiled at her, "You don't have to thank me." He told her and smiled. "I have one more thing planned for us after we finish here." Brian grinned at her.

Lucy nodded her head, "I honestly have to say, neither did I." She admitted to him and smiled. "Though I am glad that it is." She smiled.

Sage looked over at him, "There's more? I figured dinner would be the only thing we do." She said, knowing that Brian probably took some time to plan this out.

"The bright side is, we're here and we're spending time together and I'm starting to like you even more than I did before." Jimmy chuckled nervously, Lucy seemed to be the only one to make him that way.

Brian grinned, "Nope there's more." He smiled at her as he slid his credit card into the black envelope thing laying on the table. He smiled at Sage waiting on the waiter to bring his card back.

Lucy smiled a little,. "I am glad." She whispered lightly pecking his cheek. "Because I like you a lot more too."

Sage couldn't believe that there was more to the night, when the waiter brought the card back, Sage got up and walked out with Brian, wondering what could possibly be coming next.

Jimmy grinned, this was the last thing he had been planning to do that night, it was going to be his usual, go home and spend the night on his own, but here he was with Lucy, "Good, I mean come on, who doesn't like me?" He joked.

Brian took and drove to the beach boardwalk. He got out and walked around helping Sage out. He smiled taking her hand and leading her down to the beach. "I remember being kids and we'd take and walk the beach during the night. So." Brian smiled at her. "Figured we could that tonight." He told her holding his hand out to hers.

Lucy grinned at him, "I know right?!" She giggled as she smiled at Jimmy.

Sage smiled and took his hand and walked with him. She remembered the times that they had walked on the beach together and how much they had and she couldn't help smiling. "I remember how much fun we had out here."

Jimmy laughed, smiling over at her, "Well, now you can't deny that you like me." He grinned, loving that she liked him.

Brian grinned, "Yeah I do too." Brian smiled as he held to her hand. "That one night I got so stinking drunk that I took and ran along the beach nude." Brian laughed.

Lucy smiled at him as she finished up her food, "That I can't. And neither can you." She giggled lightly as she took a sip of her wine and looked at him. "This is nice, Jimmy. I am glad you asked me out." She took and smiled at him.

Sage laughed, "I remember that. No one believed you actually got nude and ran off. I also remember picking up your clothes and having to chase after you and help you get dressed."

Jimmy finished his food and smiled over at her, "I'm incredibly happy you took me up on the offer." He ran a hand through his hair, "I was thinking after this, we should go and do something after this."

Brian grinned at her nodding, "Yeah, that's true." He smiled at her. "If you hadn't been there i'd been a naked man running through the area." He laughed a little smiling at her.

Lucy raised a brow at him, "Sure." She smiled as she looked at him. "I am curious though, what did you have in mind?" She smiled.

Sage smiled, "I'm always watching out for you, dork." She laughed softly, "Just shows how much I care about you."

Jimmy shrugged slightly, "I was thinking something simple, maybe go for a walk or something?"
