Asher SerafinoAsher was still pretty torn up about losing his father, so instead of going out to be with his family like he should in the house they all grew up in, he stayed cooped up inside of his apartment. He'd made the decision to keep his cell phone off, just to have some alone time, and had since resorted to drinking whiskey straight from the bottle. He was mourning - sue the poor guy.
Nathaniel GiulianiNathaniel sat at the table inside the bar, laughing heartily along with a few people he had acquainted himself with - people who were visiting from out of state and didn't know who he was. It was nice being able to hang out with the civilians who didn't know your family history - it was almost calming, actually. He took a swig from his beer bottle and sat back in his seat, eyeing the door every few minutes to make sure no one ran up on him, though he doubted someone would be so stupid.
Jason MatthewsThough the death of Don Carmine was supposed to make the department rejoice, it had quite the opposite affect. Everyone suspected that the two families would be more at each others throats than before, so it only made things worse. There were talks about setting a curfew in the city in order to keep the civilians safe, but they weren't sure if that'd really help them more than hurt them by having them living in constant fear. Jason flipped through the Serafino's file once more, boot clad feet kicked up on her desk as she pulled out a document, scanning it over before placing it back in and looking at another.
Finn HarperFinn wiped down the counter, glancing up momentarily as one of the table's erupted in laughter. She caught sight of one of the Giuliani's and returned to her work, not wanting to make eye contact with the man. After hearing the news of Don Carmine's death on almost every local news station, Finn didn't know what to expect. Of course there were people she knew who were relieved because they thought all of the mob shit was over, but Finn knew better than that. This only made things worse.
