Jason put her feet down and sighed, mentally debating over if she should release his uncle or not. It'd help that they'd have some leverage over the family, but it'd also be a waste because someone who committed a real crime could be in the very spot that he was in. "Fuck," she muttered, typing in a combination on a drawer to retrieve the keys to the cells, "Why the fuck am I doing this?" She asked herself before standing up from her spot, "Follow me."

Felix Serafino

Felix grinned at her because he knew that he had won this time. She was pretty cute when she was all pissed off. He'd have to find out her shift hours so he could do it more often. "Of course, officer." He stood up and pushed his shirt sleeves up his elbows. It was the end of the day and he was still wearing his suit, minus the jacket.

Jason pushed a hand through her hair, still pretty pissed at herself for caving and letting this guy win. She typed in another combination for one of the doors before opening it, keeping it open for the man. "Never caught your first name," she murmured.

Felix Serafino

Felix followed behind Jason with his eyes firmly on her ass. It was stupid to be messing with the cops, especially since he was officially the head of the family, but he was an asshole at heart and nothing could change that. He leaned against the door and smiled at her, "You'll have to work for it."

Jason scoffed at his comment. "Please," she muttered, "I didn't really care much in the first place. C'mon, your uncle's this way." She continued her trek, nearing the cells were the men were. The man's uncle was laying down on a bed, slurring some song by The Police that she faintly recognized. Dude looked a hot mess.

Felix Serafino

Felix nodded and followed her, sure, yeah, totally didn't care. He knew he was being an idiot but for once he was enjoying himself too much to care. He couldn't always be like Asher and Maggie, all huffy puffy about business and stupid stuff. When they made it to the cells he groaned quietly. Uncle Eddie really did look like shit. "Great."

He looped his arm around his uncle and easily lifted him up, the man smelled like cigarettes and bourbon and made him cringe. "Let's get you home," he muttered.

Jason crossed her arms as the man helped his uncle up, not bothering to close the cell door behind them. "Not so fast," she muttered, "He's been charged for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and public nudity. You gotta pay me first before you take him home."

Finn Harper
Finn nodded at his request, turning back towards the miscellaneous bottles to pick out the one she needed. She poured the two whiskys and slid them towards each one. Huh, brother. Finn didn't think he was a Giuliani, though he sure had the amazing genes to prove otherwise. She never saw him in the news or wrapped up in any of their business, so maybe he was one that got away from all of that. Finn wasn't about to ask him up front about any of it, but she could still admire how fucking attractive he was.

Luca Giuliani

Luca thanked the bartender when she passed the drink to him. "Get one for yourself too and come join me," he said with a wink before taking a sip of his whisky. The bar was pretty quiet apart from the drunk group in the corner, but they were kept busy with a few pitchers of beer. He wanted to celebrate and who better to celebrate than with a very pretty woman. He glanced up at the TV that was above the bar when he saw a picture flash up of Don Carmine. His death was all over the local news, which made Luca smirk a little bit, because the family was left weak and Fiametta was left to the Giuliani's for the taking.

Nikolai Serafino
Nico didn't mean to overhear Maggie's conversation, but he couldn't stop himself from laughing. As he drew Daisy closer to his side he looked over to Maggie, "Now, now, Jitter Bug. You haven't even done the nasty with the lovely lady yet and you're already promising retribution." He teased, hand still playing in Daisy's hair, "You should at least find out if the sex is good before you promise to kill everyone she hates."

Knaves Giuliani
Knaves shook his head head no when they asked him if they needed anything else. He had dropped his cash payment upstairs behind the desk when he had arrived like he had done every other time they had had any business interactions. "Just box it all up and my escort will be here in a few minutes. I'm going to head to head up and check to see if the coast if clear." he told them as he placed a hand on his pistol in case he needed it.

Devon's brow lifted as she watched Knaves put a hand on his gun. She straightened placed her hands on her hips, "Aren't you just a little bit paranoid? The Don just died, I'm sure the Serafino family is all in mourning right now, not planning an attack. Unless the Don died of unnatural causes." Devon smirked now both brows raising, "Tell me, did the Don die of natural causes?"

Darren Donati
Darren rolled his eyes and headed back up to the main floor of the shop. Once there he took the money from the counter - why it was left out in the open he didn't know - and headed back into the office. He needed to redo the inventory he'd finished since Knaves just significantly lowered their count. Locking himself in the room he sat down to count the money, knowing that if Knaves shortened them any he'd charge him more than double next time.

Knaves looked down at his Doc Martens and then back up at Devon. "Thats the thing, we don't know. He just up and died today, could have been a bullet to the head, could have been poison, or finally the fat fuck got old and died after his heart exploded. I really don't know, to tell the truth it's not the Don's family I'm worried about." he told her as he took his hand off his pistol. He knew that he had enough money, he always brought more than enough when he walked in to their shop and they should have trusted them on this.

Devon snorted a little laugh, grabbing a few of the gun containers and leading the way back to the front of the store, "Then who are you worried about, Knaves?" She asked, tone taking on a mocking southern belle lilt, "Why, are you afraid of little ol' me?" she send him a grin, eyes shining with mirth as her voice returned to her normal accent, "Come on, Knaves, you know this shop is neutral ground."

Knaves looked deep into Devon's eyes before sighing and looking away. A spare rock had worked its way into the shop, Knaves kicked it to a corner of the room. "James isn't doing well. The last doctor report gave him, if he was lucky, six months left to live before he kicks the bucket." Knaves was silent for a moment, James had been the one who had found him as he was bouncing around the foster care system. He had been like a father to him growing up and was the one who drove him to his dialysis treatments daily. "There is no clear heir to the head of the family and when he dies that's when things will be getting ugly." he told her as a bell rang behind them.


James Giuliani
James sat in the back seat of the car as his driver pulled up to Devon's shop. He was there to pick up his loveable but sometimes clueless nephew. Stepping out he put on his signature white hat and grabbed his cane, which actually had a sword in it just in case, and walked into the shop. "Why hello Devon, hello James. How are we this fine day?" he asked with a slight Italian accent.

Devon looked over to Knaves as he talked about James. While she'd never had a good father figure, Devon couldn't imagine loosing Darren. She was about to respond to him when the doors opened and the bell tingled. Both malinois stood and raised the alert, barking. Though they staid on their pads they continued to alert. Devon looked up, saw James and smiled, "Ammit, Annubis, avgå." At the command the dogs stopped, responding to the Swedish word for 'stand down'. Once they were laying on the pads Devon looked at their guest, "James, hello. I'm doing fairly well this day, seeing how I just made a profit off Knaves here."

Finn Harper
Finn couldn't help but blush a little at the man's request. "I-I couldn't," she said softly, though she knew she was the only one working tonight. Her boss that she was responsible enough to close up the bar alone. Nonetheless, Finn grabbed a clean glass and poured herself a drink, eyes flickering up to the television when Don Carmine's picture came up. "Uh, cheers to him? Now that he's gone, there should be more peace and quiet." Finn lifted her glass slightly, clinking it with the guy's brother before waiting for him.

Luca Giuliani

Luca kept his eyes on the television, half listening to the reporter speculating about his death. Was it natural causes or not? Luca didn't know, but he wished he had been part of it. He let out a laugh when the bartender spoke about peace and quiet, but clinked his glass against her's anyway. "One would think so, but the trick is to kick them while they're down." He said with a slightly chilling grin. Luca was sent in to do a lot of the dirty work. Not that he minded - he was really quite good at it. Never left any prints or evidence linking the crimes back to the Giuliani family.

Knaves Giuliani
Knaves grumbled a bit as he looked at the ground. The old man shouldn't be moving around as much as he did considering his decreasing health. "Hey pops," Knaves' little nickname for him. "Shouldn't you be resting now?" he asked him with a genuine concern for his health.

James Giuliani
James chuckled a little at Devon. "Of course, we want to keep you two fine youngsters in business. If you go out of business where ever shall I go for good customer service and lovely company?" he told her with a smile. He turned to his nephew after his nephew asked him if he should be in bed. "I feel fantastic, younger than I have ever felt. I should be out sculpting or playing tennis or perhaps spending the afternoon with my family. But I will let you wrap up your business and wait for you in the car." he told him as he exited the shop.
