[Sorry, they added season 2 of The Carrie Diaries on Netflix, and I've also been kind of stressing over midterms the last week or so...]
Eliza frowned. She should have known that the conversation would come to this. It was sort of inevitable really. Of course he'd want an explanation for her sudden disappearance from his life, it was completely understandable. That didn't meant that she hadn't hoped to avoid talking about it at all costs though. "I assumed you'd be pissed at me for not coming in the first place. And it's not like I answered any of your texts or returned any of your calls either. I just figured you wouldn't want to see me." She admitted. "And I know that it's a bullshit excuse, and I'm sorry. Really sorry actually..."
Dan didn't even have the chance to get a word in edge wise. He winced when he heard the bedroom door slam shut and sighed, running a hand over his face. He honestly had no idea what he was going to do about any of this. Things weren't supposed to pan out like this. This wasn't supposed to happen. Not now anyway. Not when he had to leave for tour in a couple of weeks and certainly not when he still had a career where he was gone a majority of each year. He knew that he should expect the unexpected, but this was more than just that. This was life changing, and he didn't know what he was going to do about it at all.
