[I was thinking a little bit more time for Josh and Ellie? We can just go with the next day for Dan and Leighton though, I'm just thinking that maybe the guys convince Josh to go over a little early to spend some time with her before tour starts, so like he decides to surprise her or something?]

Leighton sat in the car and looked out the window as Dan drove to the doctor's office. She held her hand on her stomach. She was finally starting to show a bit more. They had told all the guys two days after her and Dan had made up. She had gotten shit from her mum and dad about it but they eventually accepted it and were happy for her. She was nervous for the appointment but she knew it was just routine to make sure everything was alright with the baby so far.

To say Josh was nervous was an understatement. The lads and Leighton had convinced him to go out to the States way early and surprise Ellie so he could spend time with her before the wedding and before tour. He had finally given in and he was currently sitting on an airplane that was about to land. In just an hour or so he would be on his way to see Ellie and he was just a bundle of nerves.

For once, Eliza actually had absolutely nothing planned for the day. With Sam's mom out of town, she was taking a short break from all of this chaotic wedding planning. She and Sam were supposed to lay around the house all day and watch things on Netflix, but he'd gotten called in, so now it was just looking like Eliza, a bag of Kit Kat minis, a nice cup of tea, and some Criminal Minds. Not too bad if she said so herself.

"You're quiet today." Dan commented, glancing over to his girlfriend who appeared to be staring out the window. He was surprised, he would have expected her to be more talkative seeing as they were headed to one of her doctor's appointments. She'd seemed excited about it the night before, but now she was just sort of...quiet. It was strange to say the least. "What's on your mind, love?"

Leighton looked over when Dan spoke, "I'm just nervous I guess. Its The first doctors appointment." she replied before she looked down at her stomach and ran her hand over it, "I mean We actually get to see the little person that's growing inside of my tummy." she added with a smile. She knew they wouldn't see much but she really didn't care.

Josh pulled out one of his headphones when he heard the pilot come over the speaker and tell them they were about to land. Josh smiled. This was it. Once he was through security and hailed a cab he would be on his way to finally go see Ellie for the first time in six years. He was so excited and so nervous. He wondered what she would think. She is probably going to be surprised and that's what he hoped for.

Eliza certainly wasn't expecting anyone today. She knew that Sam wouldn't be home until later, so she was kind of just expecting to have a lazy day all by herself. She could definitely use one what with all the stress that planning a wedding seemed to bring. She was kind of glad that Sam's mom was out of town. This break was much needed and much wanted.

Dan nodded, smiling slightly. "I'm sure you have no reason to be nervous." He told her, taking one of her hands in his own and giving it a light squeeze. He could see why she was nervous, he was honestly kind of nervous too. They'd resolved their issues though, and sure they still had to worry about him being off on tour and everything else, but at least they weren't arguing. That was what mattered.

Leighton nodded, "Yeah I know but I think it's probably normal." She laughed. She sat up in her seat when Dan pulled up at the doctor's and she took a breath before she took off her seatbelt and got out of the car. She waited for Dan before she took a hold of his hand and walked in with him. She went up to the window and signed in before she sat down with Dan.

Josh took a breath when the cab pulled up at Ellie's. He was nervous but he didn't mind. He grabbed his duffel bag and paid the cab driver before getting out and walking up to the door, knocking. He looked down at the ground as he waited for her to answer the door.

Eliza's eyebrows furrowed slightly in confusion when she heard a knock at the front door. Who was there? She wasn't expecting anyone, and she knew that it couldn't be Sam. First of all, Sam wouldn't have knocked, and secondly, he'd told her that he wouldn't be home until later. Like way later. She stood up, not really thinking about what she was wearing, or her lack of pants for that matter, and approached the door, peering through the peephole to see who it was. And, when she saw who was waiting on the other side, the last thing that came to mind was going to grab a pair of pajama pants or boxer shorts. "What the hell are you doing here?!" She grinned as she opened the door, practically tackling him into a hug.

Dan chuckled slightly, nodding his head in agreement with her words. "Yeah, I suppose it is." He agreed. He was sure that it was normal to be nervous, especially when it was the first pregnancy and all that. The fact that it was the first doctor's visit probably made it all the more nerve-wracking too. He pulled into the parking lot of the doctor's office, parking in an empty spot before getting out of the car. "I'm sure it'll be fine though." He told her, giving her hand a light squeeze as they walked inside.

Leighton tapped her foot nervously as she waited to be called. Once she was called she stood nervously before she took Dan's hand again as the nurse lead the two to the room. She took a breath before she sat up on the chair as her doctor walked in with a smile on his face, "Hi Leighton how are you?" He asked, "Good. Nervous." She replied with a laugh. He laughed as well before he looked at Dan, "This must be the father. Hi I'm Dr. Hayes." He introduced.

Josh looked up when the door opened and he saw Ellie standing there. Looking as beautiful as the time he last saw her, "I came to surprise you!" He replied as he hugged her back. He had missed her so much in the past six years it was unbelievable, "I've missed you so much, El." He said as he pulled back and took in her appearance.

Eliza couldn't believe it. Josh was here. He was here and she was seeing him for the first time in six years. It was almost too good to be true. She was so happy to see him though. This day was already turning out better than she had expected it to. She smiled, hugging him tightly. "Well, you definitely surprised me." She said, grinning as she pulled back. "I've missed you too, Josh."

Dan could tell that Leighton was nervous, and he really didn't blame her. He was pretty damn nervous himself, he was just good at hiding it. It wasn't long after that that a nurse was calling his girlfriend's name. He stood, taking Leighton's hand in his as they followed the nurse to one the room, giving her hand a light, reassuring squeeze. Moments later, the doctor came in. "Dan." He said politely, offering a smile.

Leighton looked over at the doctor when he started to speak. He asked her to lift her shirt so he could put on the gel for the sonogram. He says squeezed shine onto her belly and she shivered, "Its cold." She laughed before the doctor nodded and then started to spread it out to show her, baby. When the baby came up on the screen she felt tears spring to her eyes as she reached for Dan's hand and stared at the screen.

Josh smiled before he looked down at her, "El...you're not wearing any pants." He said and laughed before he ushered her inside. He didn't want her being outside with no pants on. He hugged her again once inside and smiled at her. He really had missed get greatly.

Eliza's eyes widened slightly as she glanced down, realizing that he was right. She wasn't wearing any pants. She let out a slight laugh. "Well, would you look at that, I guess I'm not." Cheeks flushing lightly, she allowed Josh to usher her back inside. She smiled, hugging him back tightly once they were inside. "I seriously missed you so much." She mumbled into his chest.

Dan listened as the doctor spoke, wanting to make sure that he paid attention and caught everything that he was telling them. Though things hadn't gone so well at first, he planned on being there for Leighton to the best of his ability, even while he was away on tour. They'd figure something out, he knew that they would. Letting his girlfriend take his hand, he squeezed hers lightly, watching in awe as their baby appeared on the screen.
