Amber's eyes lit up when he brought her a silencer. "This is exactly what I wanted!" She said as she quickly grabbed it from him. It was what she had needed for a while now. Without any hesitation she attached it to her gun, now knowing that she would be able to use it whenever she needed. Now she did not have to worry about bringing attention to the other walkers when she had to fight. Plus her gun was far superior to her hatchet where she had to fight close up. "Thank you Alexander!"

Alexander chuckled, and nodded before sighing and pulling everything out of the bags and laying it out on the coffee table before them. There was quite a few boxes of ammunition for handguns, the assault rifle, and the shotgun. Also, there was a flashlight for under the barrel of the assault rifle, and one for the side of the shotgun. Also, there were four grenades as well.

Once Amber had decided what she wanted, she headed into her room with her items. She went over to her bag, beginning to restuff and reorganize everything so she had enough room. Once her bag was full, Amber set everything to the side and stood up. At least she was now packed for leaving. It would make leaving at sunrise a lot easier if all she really had to do was grab some food and leave. Though nethertheless she was worried about tomorrow and what it would bring.

Alexander sighed when she went back into her room. He sat there for a while, thinking about what would be going on tomorrow morning. He would be returning to the stark emptiness of the apartment without Amber. He would be going back to doing precisely nothing all week- maybe going out to scavenge for food once a week. He frowned, and then began to take all of the equipment into his bed room- except for the assault rifle and the flashlight. He laid out the rest on the small table in his bedroom, and then pulled a screwdriver out of a drawer in here, and took it out to the living room once again. He then sat down on the couch there, and began attaching the flashlight to the assault rifle.

Once Amber was mostly ready for the next day she made her way back out to the living room. She glanced over at Alexander, seeing him work on the assault rifle and the flashlight attachment. First she sat down in one of the chairs, leaning back as she glanced over at him. First she was quiet for a few minutes but then she decided to speak up. "So we still have half a day I suppose. Is there anything else that you would like to do or are you planning on getting some things done by yourself?" She asked as she leaned back into the couch. At this point Amber was getting a bit bored. She was unsure of what to do next.

Alexander was just finished the addition of the flashlight before Amber piped up. He looked up, and chuckled, saying," Well, we could go out and travel the city for a little while. Possibly find some places that might constitute as a safe house for you when you leave tomorrow."

Amber thought for a moment before nodding to him slowly. She was not really planning on staying in the city tomorrow when she went through. Though it would be nice to find a place to hide just in case something were to happen. "I plan on continuing on my way. So if we can find a safe place on the other side of the city that would be perfect." She told him as she got onto her feet once again. As long as there was a chance she might as well look for a safe place.

"Sounds good to me. I'm sure we can figure out a way to get across a large part of it on the rooftops- but not all of it. So we'll need to load up before we make the journey," he said, before heading back into his room and loading up for the second time that day...

Amber watched him head back to his room before heading towards her own. She decided to keep it light this time, only carrying one gun and her hatchet. When she came back out she waited for Alexander to come out before she climbed out of the window and up to the rooftop. Looking out to the direction that she wanted to go, Amber saw the older part of town. That was where she needed to go through.

Alexander returned a moment later with his full knife vest, one grenade, and one handgun (as per usual). He followed her up to the roof, and then looked over at her, asking," So, which way are you thinking of going out of the city again? And should we looked for boarded up high areas of the buildings? Or should we look for small just hiding holes in the buildings on the ground?"

"I would want to find hiding places close to the roofs for as long as we can run across them. Though the moment I can't then down on the ground would be best." Amber told him as she went to the edge of the building. She jumped onto the next roof, already knowing which way she wanted to go. "If I can get one spot up high and another on the ground I should be set for getting through the city."

"Okay, that sounds good," Alexnder said, nodding and turning back towards the older part of the city. He then waved Amber on behind himself, and began to leap across a few of the rooftops. He eventually found an older building that looked like it was boarded up. Well, WAS. He climbed down the fire escape two floors, and then bashed in the thin two-by-fours that were covering a window there, before pulling out his knives and climbing into the room.... He looked around the apartment for some time, before finding that it was clear. He then made his way back to the door to the hallway, and checked outside. He then pulled the door back shut, and locked it from the inside, using the deadbolt as well. He turned back to her, and asked," Is this okay? Or are you looking for something further away?"

And by the way I was thinking about making Amber fall through an old broken roof so that her ankle breaks so she would have to stay with Alexander. Unless you have a plan?))

Amber followed him into the apartment, looking around at the place. There were no zombie in there and it seemed like a difficult place for most people to get to. Of course it was a bit dirty in there but it was clear that there had not been people in the apartment for some time now. If she really needed to hide out from the walkers for a day or so this would work quite well. Now all she needed was to find one more place further on and she would be set to go tomorrow morning. "No it is not too close. Now if we can just find a place on the ground a bit further from here I would be good to go tomorrow."

(I actually did have a plan. I was going to suggest her getting caught by one of those bad raider groups when she leaves the next morning. And then Alexander would come rescue her?)

"Alright, sounds good to me," Alexander said, nodding as he led her out to the fire escape once again before leading her back up to the rooftops. He then began to leap and bound across the rooftops once again. After a while, he led her to stop on a rooftop quite a bit further than the previous one. He then walked over to the edge to check if the way was clear of walkers on the ground- which it was, since they were beginning to get out of the city. He then motioned for her to take the way, saying," Go ahead and lead the way- that way you can choose what you'd want best."

(Yes I like that plan better. Though how would he know? Should she get captured on the ground outside the apartment?)

Amber moved over to his side, looking out of the city. She glanced out, trying to see what was beyond it to see where she wanted to come out from. Once she knew Amber pointed in the direction of what seemed to be the fastest way out. "I plan on getting out that way." Amber told him before she moved to where she would jump to the next roof. "I might not have to find a hideout on the ground. Maybe just one more up top with the direction that I am going in." Honestly she did not see her any any problems getting out. Most of the walkers couldn't get onto the rooftops and Amber could almost get through the whole place just by jumping on the roofs.

[Yeah, or he could just see them dragging her or something. Whatever you think would work. And I'm sorry, but I'll be gone for like ten days starting tomorrow. I'm going to Ireland. ^_^]
Alexander nodded, and then smiled, saying," Ahhhhh, so I see that my ways of the monkey are rubbing off on you." He laughed, and then said," But that truly is the smarter path. Go ahead and lead the way and just stop when you think you would want to duck away on your journey. I'll follow you and help you clear out wherever you choose. Most of the places this far out of the city center should be fairly empty regardless- but just to be safe rather than sorry."

[How was the trip? ^.^]

Amber continued to jump along the roofs until she found where she planned on getting out and her last hiding spot. Once both were figured out she made her way back to the apartment building. By the time they had gotten back the sun was setting and it was time to hide from the zombies.
When she got into the apartment Amber turned to him with a soft smile. "Thank you for everything. You've been a great help."

Alexander followed her back closely, and smiled as they slipped back into the apartment. He nodded to her, and said," It's not a big deal. We have to help one another. It's one of the few things that keeps is truly human in this hellhole." He headed to the kitchen, then, and asked," So, what do you want to eat? I feel like we should have something special, considering you leave in the morning."

(it was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire lifetime. God, I wish I could have stayed there. )

Amber followed him into the kitchen, thinking about what she wanted to eat. After a moment she smiled and began to pull out a few different things from the cupboard. "I think I know what we should make." Amber said as pulled out spaghetti noodles. It had been so long since she had spaghetti.

(Definitely leading the Procession of Lights. ^_^ And sorry for not replying! I've been so busy with getting back and getting ready to go back out to uni that I've been going crazy.)
"What is it?" Alexander said, raising an eyebrow as he looked over at her. He looked at what she had quickly, and then beamed, as the realization hit him. "Oooooooo!!! I haven't had spaghetti in FOREVER! Even before the shit hit the fan, I rarely ate it because it was so high in carbs." Alexander then pulled out the pot, and began to prep some of the other things to make the spaghetti.
