Dimitri


Aria Williams

Aria got dressed for her night out in the town. She had her hair down to cover her face a little better as well as a solid black mask to hide her face. She didn't want them knowing her identity and possibly getting away then targeting her. She had already lost her family, but she didn't need to endanger the school as well. She grabbed her sword as well as all of her knives and a single pistol, which she strapped to her leg. She had on all black to hopefully camouflage herself. She headed out onto the rooftops. She was well curved and was beautiful in everything. She had luscious raven black hair and blue eyes that just sparkled like the evening sky. She found one vampire and stalked him a little ways until they got to an alleyway. She then snuck up behind him and slammed him into the wall, not giving him time to breathe she stuck a sword right in his left shoulder, and then growled at him. (The man is Dimitri btw cx)

Dimitri was well hidden, he knew that. He moved through the trees, careful not to step on any twigs that would break. While his hearing far outweighed any of a human's, hunters well well trained in tracking and he didn't particularly care to deal with any that were possibly on his trail. He was a complicated creature, of that he was certain. He didn't care for violence and so that meant he did his absolute best to avoid most humans simply because of his race. His race meant that it was often an instantaneous reaction. Vampires were frowned upon, to say the least. So as he moved through the woods in search of somewhere to rest for the night, he listened, but did not pay that much attention to where he was walking nor who was possibly in the trees.

Aria heard a pair of footsteps hidden among the woods, and took off after cutting off the head of the vampire that she had caught. She saw the vermin ahead of her, following closely. She suddenly burst out of the trees and stabbed Dimitri in the stomach sending him into the tree behind him. She jumped back grabbing her sword out of his gut and holding it with both hands. She waited for his move, before impatiently slashing his leg this time. She waited for his reaction, knowing that she didn't need to just be offensive. She needed to be defensive as well if she wanted this to succeed. She was greatly camouflaged and intended to stay that way. She then punched Dimitri in the face. Her face knocked off at her efforts, showing her beautiful face as well as her bright sapphire eyes. Her black hair fell to drape across her shoulders, layering down her back and adorning her face.

Dimitri wasn't sure how the hell that happened but soon, he found himself against a tree, a sword cutting into his stomach. He groaned as he looked down, a frown growing on his features as he watched blood begin to leak from the wound. He looked up to the girl that went for his leg. He let out a growl this time and his fangs unsheathed, his claws starting to come out. But just as he was getting into position to lunge at her, his hair moved out of her face and he caught sight of her eyes. And that was all that he needed to freeze in position, staring at her wide-eyed, with his fangs still out. "Aria," he breathed out, his eyes wide as he assessed her. He managed to jump and avoid her next blow, teeth gritting as he fought against his instincts. "Stop. Aria, listen to me. For just a fuckin' minute," he seethed when he had to dodge yet another blow and he was quickly becoming frustrated with her.

Aria cut against his leg, wanting to simply rid the world of this vermin! She growled as she did so. She saw his claws and dodged a blow to her stomach before reaching into her boot and getting out a silver blade, which she used to cut his shoulder with. She froze hearing her name and narrowed her eyes. "How the fuck do you know my name, bloodsucker!?" She demanded. She didn't go by her real name anymore. She couldn't. She hated her real name. She usually when by Anna now, instead of Aria. She hated that name and the bloodshed it had brought with it. She growled hearing him and said, "I don't know you. I do want answers, however. How do you now my name!?" She demanded again her lips slightly quivering from so much anger that seemed to burn, hiding the turmoil that she felt within. She had the knife pointed towards him, her hands shaking from her anger.

Dimitri hissed from the pain of the sword against his leg, gritting his teeth to fight the instincts. Every fibre of his being wanted to launch at Aria and rip her throat out and yet, he refused to do so because all he could remember was the night that she had been orphaned. He didn't flinch as the silver was brought out, in fact his shoulders started to sag a bit because he didn't want to fight with her. If there was anyone he would lay his life down without a fight, it was going to be her. His eyes narrowed as he spotted perhaps the only chance he would get. When her hand began to shake, he moved and shoved her hand into the tree a few feet behind her, propelling them both into it. His eyes were narrowed as he glared down at her, "If I wanted to kill you, you would be dead," he growled, his fangs starting to emerge again. "It wouldn't have been that fuckin' hard to kill an infant," he spat in her face, hating that she was so... ready to kill him because all he could think of was that fateful night.

Aria was just simply angry at him -- at the world. She didn't know what to do anymore. All she had ever known was to kill! She was a killer of the vermin that had infiltrated this world and was determined to make sure they go back to where they came from. Feeling herself knocked into a tree, she didn't show any amount of weakness only a growl escaped her lips. She heard his words and said, "What the hell are you talking about!? I don't even know you!" She raised her foot and kicked him in the groin before headbutting him and knocked him backwards. Then, she propelled herself forwards launching the blade into his chest and twisting hoping he would feel the pain. She backed up before he could retaliate and disappeared. Her head was spinning from this information. Who the hell was he? She growled and went back to her apartment and shut the windows and doors and changed into a tank top and a pair of tights. She held her head unable to comprehend this.

Before Dimitri had much time at all to react, he found himself on his knees, gasping and struggling to breathe (not that he actually needed to but old habits died hard). He stared down at the blade in his chest and knew it wouldn't be long if he didn't get it out. He was just lucky that the blade didn't actually piece his heart. Groaning as he pulled the blade from his chest, he dropped it on the ground and raised back to his feet. He was feeling light headed already and he hoped that when he got to his cabin in the middle of the woods, that he would be able to have enough time to make a paste to help the wound heal. And sure enough, he had just enough time to make it and rub it into the wound before he collapsed on his bed, beginning to shiver and shake, a cold sweat breaking out over his body. Ah, the joy of silver poisoning.

Aria hadn't done it with all her might, just to allow herself time to go run and get away from him. She needed time to think. She took a deep breath and took a shower. She felt the hot water, steamy and relaxing, fall over her body. It followed her curves, leading down all the way to her toes. She let the water fall over her body, allowing herself to finally relax. She thought about what Dimitri had said and frowned trying to remember. She needed to remember. She needed to. She couldn't though. She never could unless she was asleep. She didn't like remembering, it was dark and fuzzy and she woke up screaming most nights. She looked up into the water, closing her eyes and allowing the water fall over her body and slicked her hair back from her forehead and just relaxed beneath the warmth of the water.

It wasn't until the next day that Dimitri was even able to lift his head without intense pain shooting down his spine and a wave of nausea hitting him. When he was finally able to stand long enough, he brewed himself a put of herbal tea - herbs meant to help him feel better. He still felt quite sick, but he was beginning to be able to move without too much trouble. Tending to the fire in his chimney, he sat beside it on a folded blanket. Enjoying the heat, he began to force down the tea, knowing that it would help spur his healing and that was what he needed for the moment. Before he took off and escaped to God only knew where but he knew he needed to get out of this area before it got too late.

Aria finished up her shower, going into the bedroom and dressing again. She laid in bed and slept the day away until the next night and woke up and yawned. She had woken up prior to this and had screamed her head off from nightmares, a cold sweat covering her entire body. She stood up and made her some food. She wore a pair of tight leggings that clung to her body. She had on a tank top along with it and her hair was up into a messy bun at the top of her head. Looking around, she finished up her food and decided to just go out without working tonight. She exited her building, walking out of the lobby and headed towards a little cafe that she could get some coffee at. She didn't sleep much anymore.

Dimitri was dressed, a bag in hand that carried the bare essentials and he had taken off to a local cafe, figuring that he could stop a final time to get a cappuccino from the local cafe that he enjoyed so much. He was silent as he entered, hand wrapped tightly around the strap of his bag as he ordered. He tipped fairly well and quickly moved to the end of the line, waiting for his drink to be made. His head was lowered, starting to grow impatient as time moved on. He needed to get out of here, and quickly. He needed to put as much space between here and wherever he ended up for the night as possible. And that was only going to happen if he left quickly and early enough.

Aria got her coffee and went past Dimitri, not recognizing him at the moment. She sat down in a little booth and sipped on her coffee, laying her head down on the table. A few guys were ravaging her body with looks that were almost just filled with want. She didn't notice them nor did she care. She had her hair still in a bun at the top of her head and was going to make sure it stayed that way tonight. She had boots on, uggs to be specific, along with her tights and looked out the window a yawn coming out of her soft plump lips. They immediately went back together once the yawn was over and done with.

Dimitri's body went rigid when a scent drifted across his nose, his eyes narrowing as his head shot up. His eyes were now searching out Aria, her scent a mixture of her parents' and her own and when he caught sight of her, his eyes never left her. Even as his drink was set out and he grabbed it, his eyes were still on the girl that he had come across the night before. He hesitated for a moment and he wanted to get out, his loyalty to his best friend was a bit too strong for him to resist. And in that moment, he was behind her and reaching out with a death grip on her arm, just above her elbow. "Don't fight," he growled, turning to pull her out of the cafe so they could have a bit more privacy.

Aria growled feeling someone's hand on her arm. She didn't turn at the moment. She had a knife in her shoe and was going to fucking hurt him if he didn't leave her alone. She complied at the moment not wanting to start anything in the cafe. She turned to him and saw who it was and growled louder this time but walked with him and then ripped her arm from his grip once they were outside. She ran a hand throughout her hair and watched him crossing her arms over her chest and said, "What the hell do you want?" She raised an eyebrow slightly upset by this. She had left her drink inside and was thoroughly upset.

Dimitri was silent as she ripped her arm from his grasp and still didn't bother to say anything until he turned into an alley, finally turning to face her. He stared her down, sipping at his drink. He took a deep breathe and looked away, not sure how to go about this conversation. "I knew your parents. Quite well," he murmured, taking another sip of his drink. "The night they were murdered, I took you and ran," he said, this time staring at her.

Aria crossed her arms over her chest and looked up at him, a glare in her beautiful blue eyes. Hearing him she said, "Well, I don't know you. I also don't know if what you say is true." She said narrowing her eyes. "I don't remember that night whatsoever." She told him. "So there's no possible way for me to know what you say is true or not." She responded before turning around about ready to take her leave.

Dimitri let out a harsh laugh and shook his head, looking away from her with narrowed eyes. She was getting on his nerves, he couldn't help it. BUt he ignored what the anger was telling him to do. He had to. "Because. How would I know your name? How would I know where your childhood home is? You've probably never been there," he answered back, turning to look at her again with narrowed eyes. He was angry, all he wanted to do was reach across and smack some sense into her. He somehow doubted that was a good idea though. So he simply stood there, "There are ways, you just don't want to accept that we're all not animals like you were raised to believe."

Aria crossed her arms and said, "There are ways to know where I Used to live and ways to know my name." She responded not really taking to his bullshit. "You're a bloodsucking monster." She responded unable to help the anger that drifted into her voice. "I don't know you and you're extremely lucky I'm not trying to kill you like I did yesterday. If you want to find out why I'm the best since 1934, then I suggest you fuck off." She said her eyes bright. She didn't like the fact that he acted as if he knew her. She hated that. He didn't know the first thing about her. She didn't know him and all he was trying to do was get into her head.
