Ben glared at her and shook his head. "I hurt her?! What do you think about me?! She's the one who dumped me - not the other way around here!" He shook his head and sighed. "Nice to meet you Piper." He teased with a smile.

Piper frowned, "Yea she broke up with you because you cheated on her." She snapped at him. She usually didn't get upset but Molly was her best friend. Piper walked out the doors with him and sighed when she realized he was parked next to her.

Bennett continued to follow her out and shook his head. "Is that what she told you?! She's no angel either. I got drunk and made a mistake - how does she justify her flirting with guys all the time?"

Piper glared at him, stopping, causing him to run into her. "Being drunk is no excuse for being a cheating asshole." She said. She looked up at him, "Molly doesn't flirt with other guys." She said. Though she knew her best friend did.

Bennett rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Yes it is - the girl seduced me. I was annoyed with Molly for being the big flirt she is - and yes, I indulged myself a little. Like hell she doesn't flirt with other guys! You have to be absolutely blind to say that."

Piper frowned, "Well if you can't handle alcohol perhaps you shouldn't drink!" She snapped at him. Piper watched him, "Obviously her flirting with guys had no hurt on you except for it influenced you to be a douchebag!" She yelled. Piper was very out spoken and liked to get her point across.

Bennett rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Why do you insist that im the bad guy here? I'm not always the bad guy here, Piper. I'm not a bad guy."

Piper crossed her arms, "Sure seems that way." She said softly. She knew Molly said Bennett had always been nice but this changed everything. "Maybe if you took responsibilty for what you did it wouldn't be so bad." She told him.

Bennett smiled lightly and nodded her head. "I have - she knew I cheated! I took responsibility for it and she's still pissed at me about it. Why don't you judge it for yourself instead of hearing it from your friends."

Piper looked at him, "what do you mean?" She asked. She didn't understand his sudden fascination with her. She had to admit he was cute but she shouldn't e thinking that.

Bennett frowned and sighed. "Give me a chance... Don't just judge me this way because of Molly. I can be good."

Piper thought for a moment, "fine." She said. "I gotta get going though." She said as she unlocked her car. "Bye." She said as she slid into her car.

The next morning Piper walked into class and sat down. She knew it was wrong to talk to Bennett without telling Molly but she figured they could be just friends.

Bennett smiled. Good - he was getting somewhere with her. Good. When he walked in, he smiled to see her in class and he winked at her. "Hey there Piper. How was your night?"

Piper looked at him as he spoke, "It was alright. How was yours?" She asked. It couldn't do harm to have normal conversations with him could it?

Ben smiled and nodded his head. "Alright, I guess... Kinda boring." he said, implying he wanted to talk to some pretty girl.

Piper nodded, "Well that sucks." She said. She looked up when the teacher walked in. She leaned back against her seat as the announcements came on for the morning. Piper ran her fingers through her hair as she relaxed.

Bennett chuckled and nodded. "Yeah - I mean, unless you wanted to make me not bored and text me or something." He chuckled lightly as the teacher started.

Piper looked at him when he mentioned texting her. She debated on it for a moment then wrote her number on a piece of paper. She handed it to him then looked forward as the teacher started. She stood up when the bell rang and walked out with her friend Lacey.

Ben smiled a little as she slipped him the piece of paper and winked. He was reeling her in - good. She seemed curious about him at least - and that seemed like a very good thing.
