I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to burn my OCs. Most - if not all - of them were absolute crap. But I'll be working on them extensively in the near future, so I might use more of them in upcoming stories. Who knows.

So...now that we've pretty much strung out the OC topic as far as it can go...

Any opinions on different ways to characterize pre-established characters? I usually like making them evil. I love evil-MCR stories. They're just insanely fun.

Unless Heart.Shaped.Box is the author. Then they're scary. Terrifying, even.

Argh, I must leave you all now. It's almost one in the morning.

    OC is original character.

And Isa, to answer your question, yes. I have this character called Verilyn. She showed up as Mikey's girlfriend, she was the original name for Isis, and she's in a story I started in the fifth grade. In the original version, it was Riyala, but when I started the rewrite a while ago she turned into Verilyn.

Vampire Thanks to this, I was able to make my Vampyren (vampiress)!!!

    Name: Fauna Harker

Appearance: (pretty much your every day fairy-tale servant . Sad really)
Hair- a golden honey blond. The frizzy and somewhat limp curls flow to a point about four inches beneath her collarbone. When serving, she will normally take two clumps of hair from above her ears and twist them, securing them in the back with ordinary string.
Skin- porcelain white. Her warmth was stolen along with her humanity.
Eyes- a pale blue - almost white.
    Height- about 5'5".
Body Type- as a personal servant, she grew up as the tiny little girl that was always weak. She’s grown out and is still relatively thin.
Clothing- typical peasant clothes. A square necked empire peasen t blouse with full brown skirt is held together by a large brown belt. A few scuffs here and there taint her clothes.
Other- uh . . . maybe a cut here or there and - oh! - the jutting fangs that rip from her swollen gums!!

    Personality: (ugh...)

Likes- when in her fragile state all one can think about is their blood-lust. But normally, she enjoys secretly reading in her master’s large library that helped show off his wealth.
Dislikes- her master, his sick cannibal ways, his sensual obsession with her.
Charecter- the quiet type, she was always taught to keep to herself in the castle and not to speak out of term when accompanying the Count (Gerard van Helsing) in public. When thirsty, she turns into a beast. Her manners are eliminated and she would kill her best friend if he got in her way. She has a temper anyway.
    Introverted or Extroverted- Human: 3. Vampire: uh . . . 211.
Other- she is known as Faun.

    History (WOO!)

School/Training- growing up in the castle, she never got a proper education. She taught herself to read at five and has been studying the books in Gerard’s library since then.
Jobs- a man-servant as one might say, she has been tending to van Helsing since she was old enough. His bizarre “needs” have relieved her of her job when she turned seventeen.
Other Information- her father was sold into slavery to a plantation owner out of Romania. News of his death caused a rampage . . . but you’re not supposed to know that yet.

    Powers/Weapons (WOO-HOO!!!)

    Type- vampire teeth.
Appearance- her canines point inwards and only go a few millimeters past normal. They sharpen extensively.
    History- a bite from Gerard.
Other- when thirsty, the fangs with protrude from where they were and curve inwards. They are just sharp enough to rip through your soft tissue and scratch a medium chunk of your bone out if nessecary.

    Family/Ancestors

Ancestors- her family has been living in Romania for ninety-four generations. Once a powerful name, with the last four generations, the name Harker has become anonymous with failure.
Father- her father was sold into slavery when she was seven years old. Not much is known about him.
Mother- her mother died during the birth of her little brother.
Siblings- her brother died while being born.
Other- a Ms. Kimberly Davenport has watched over Fauna until her death at Fauna’s age of fourteen. She has been taking care of herself since then and been working for the Count who plans to take advantage of that.

    Psyche

    Category- Dark-sided.
Side-Kick- Raoul, the Counts brother. She met him at a banquet and once out of service, she was able to spend more time with him. Vlad, the ... uh? Vlad’s the sort of person that if you told him not to touch something, he’d of broken it already.
Drive- a powerful lust that is essential for the sweet life that runs through her veins (haha! Pun!)
Traits- she has an odd habit (or ability) to be able to finish other peoples sentences.
Disposition- She has been told to act as one would normally. Parties bring out the Marie Antoinette in her, while private shuts her off completely.
Psychological Profile- when UTI (of vampirism) she cannot completely control her mind. This might cause an nonmalignant meltdown during humanity.

Haha, I've done my job for once! I'm so glad this guide has actually helped someone. I think you might have gotten the sidekick thing messed up a little, though. It was one of the categories for a person's psyche. But it's open to interpretation, so please ignore everything I just said. ^.^

    Mine's Ellie.
She's been a mother, a daughter, a rock star and Joey Armstrong's girlfriend in the future (Yeah. That was on GSB. 2028. No one read it.)

I sometimes use myself as a minor minor character. Only to fill really small roles. It's an addiction.

    I used to have one.
    Her name was...
    [insert BLUSH here]
    Druscilla.

Yeah... but that was over five years ago, so don't slay me too bad.
She wasn't me, just had my name.
And my name went perfectly with the fandom I was writing at the time.

A character of Belinda, the one in 'When the Savior Is Damned' is based off me. :lmfao I swear that's exactly how I'd react when I meet MCR.
