All At Once

He laughed. "But it's alright. I have to stay sane so you can."

I shook my head. "You know I can't sleep that easily. Especially not after everything that happened."

She looked at him and smiled a little.

"Well cuddle me then," he smiled at her,"wife," he teased.

I leaned against him, putting my head on his chest. "I'm sorry. I'm a terrible friend let alone a wife. I barely smile." I mumbled to myself.

He grinned and wrapped his ark around her. "Lets board the plane." He said softly, holding her close.

He smiled a little,"We can work on that," he said to her.

She nodded and walked with him onto the plane, she really hoped her dreams of him just went away.

I shrugged a little, keeping my head on his chest. "Alright." I said softly, closing my eyes.

He walked onto the plane and.got into their seats. "How are you feeling?"

"I feel fine," she murmured as she pushed her hair out of her eyes then licked her lips, "Just a bit overwhelmed," she told him.

He smiled and closed his eyes as well.

He sat down and wrapped his arms around her. "Well we can relax a bit. The flight is about six hours. Then we'll be there."

She leaned against him and nodded,"Alright," she murmured softly, as she laid her head on his chest.

He rubbed her back softly. "How have you been feeling lately? Any changes?"

"Nope," she murmured, "Not really, no dreams still," she told him.

He narrowed his eyes in thought. "That's strange. Nothing for this long?"

I woke up, feeling turbulence shake the plane. I held myself closer to Ryan and attempted to sleep again. But the rumbling of my stomach stood out with the turbulence. "I'm hungry," I said, tapping him lightly.

She shook her head,"Nope," she said to him and hoped he bought it because almost every night she'd dreamt about him and it was making her nervous.

"Alright," he murmured softly and pressed the button for the flight attendent.

I laid against him as the flight attendant came over, giving me a look of disdain and him a much wider smile. I looked down, feeling slightly out of place. I hadn't noticed how other women might react to him, but I knew that I would immediately feel out of place. I hadn't felt this way in a really long time: jealousy.

He nodded a little as he thought about it. "Well alright. So are you feeling better emotionally? We said we'd work on that."

She nodded,"I feel alright I guess," she murmured as she chewed on her bottom lip lightly.

He rubbed her arm, "She's hungry could you bring us both a meal?" he asked her.

I kept my face down, burying my face in his chest.

"Sure, but is there anything else I can get you...both?" She asked him with a wide smile, completely ignoring my existence.

I missed Audrey. She would have yelled at her. Even before the accident I was only outspoken if pushed.

He nodded a little and sighed. "Is there anything you need? Food, something to drink, sleep?"

"I might sleep," she murmured softly as she chewed on her bottom lip.

He smiled,"No we're fine thank you," he said to her.

I watched as she walked off, turning slightly to look out the window. All I saw were clouds and it was kind of calming to know that I was above it all. I all of the problems on the planet and I was higher than it if only for a couple of hours.

He nodded a little. "Alright, go ahead." He said, having a blanket brought over to them.

She closed her eyes and sighed a little before starting to doze off.

He sighed as he stretched and groaned.

I looked back at him. "Are you feeling okay?"
