It'll Be Okay

I sighed a little, rubbing his back. "You're meant to be here. Of course, your parents should be too. Maybe you're here to do something great. Something really amazing."

He smiled a little. "Great. Sounds like a plan. How long have you been with him anyway?"

He nodded,"Maybe," he murmured.

"Two years." she said to him

I went back to check on the food, and put it on a plate for him. "Eat, then we can go watch a movie or something."

He nodded a little. "Wow. Long enough that it should be serious. Well, we'll whip him back into shape for you."

She smiled and nodded,"Yeah, I can only hope it works,"

He nodded a little and picked up the fork with his non broken arm and began to eat.

I sighed a little. "So for school, I'll tell them what happened so you don't have to worry. You go back when you're ready."

He smiled. "It will. It will show you how much he really cares. If he reacts badly or not at all."

He nodded a little as he sighed,"I was thinking of dropping out and getting my equivilent," he told her.

She nodded a little,"We'll see, time will tell,"

I nodded. "If thats what you want, I think that's great. You're definitely smart enough to pass." I said with a small smile. "You'll leave me to suffer in school without you." I pouted slightly, sitting next to him.

He nodded. "And if he's a jerk, we'll find out. But hopefully he isn't."

She nodded a little as they walked into the library,"I just hate being ignored, it's extremely annoying," she murmured.

He sighed,"Well you could always drop out with me,"

I smiled a little. "I might. Or maybe I can test out of classes. That way I can graduate early." I suggested with a shrig.

He shook his head. "You shouldn't ever be ignored. You deserve better."

He nodded a little,"Maybe," he said to her softly.

She smiled,"I'm happy someone thinks so,"

I sighed a little, looking at the table. "Come on. I'll clean up. What do you want to do?" I asked softly, cleaning up the food.

He smiled a little. "Come on. We should go study."

She nodded as they found a table and she pulled out her books then sighed, "Alright lets do this,"

"we'll watch a movie, I'm not in the mood to do anything," he murmured as he looked at her.

I nodded a little. "Come on." I said softly, going to go look through the movies. I put on a comedy and sighed, pulling a blanket around me and covering him as well.

He shrugged. "I really need to pass his midterm. I don't think he likes me much."

"He doesn't like me either, he is such a jerk," she mumbled as she looked in the book.

He sat on the couch then laid his head in her lap.

He smiled a little. "I think everyone thinks that. He should just be fired."

I stroked his hair softly watching the movie silently. It seemed he had yet to cry, so I was anticipating not sleeping much tonight. I was sure he would have nightmares. And I needed to be there in case he needed me.

She nodded in agreement,"I work my butt off in his class, still a B+ don't mean to sound like a bitch but come the fuck on,"

He watched the movie as he stared off into space, thinking to himself.

I continued stroking his hair softly, feeling him go still. "Are you alright?"

He laughed. "You should tell him that. Word for word."

"Maybe I will," she told him nodding a little.

He nodded,"I guess,"

I sighed a little. "Do you want to sleep?"

He laughed. "Let me know so I can come watch."

She smiled a little as she looked at him, "Well I'll do that then,"

"I just want to sit here" he said to her.
