It'll Be Okay

I turned off the tv and laid down as well, resting my head on him while he laid on my lap. I couldn't imagine what he was going through, so I would do what I could to help.

He looked at his book and smiled. "In class, does he use that awful accent?"

"Yes!" she said to him scoffing, "It's terrible,"

He laid there with her.

I stroked his hair softly, leaning back on the couch. "Jimin, come on. Lets get ready to sleep. We don't have to, but if we fall asleep on the couch, at least we'll be in pajamas."

He laughed a little and nodded. "He thinks its funny and it isnt. And then he just sits at his desk and talks about his wife."

"why does it matter?" he asked looking at her, "Pajamas are stupid just more clothes, what is any different then s;eeping how I am now?" he asked her.

She nodded,"Kind of sad to be honest, but cute at the same time." she smiled, "My husband better talk about me to his co workers," she said laughing.

I sighed a little, looking at him quietly. "Jimin, I'm just trying to help. I don't want to pry, but I don't know how you're feeling or if you're tired." I explained softly. "If you want to sleep in that, fine. But I want pajamas so can I borrow a shirt?"

He smiled. "Isn't that how husbands are supposed to talk about their wives? But the wife has to brag about him as well."

He noedded a little,"Yeah," he said as he sat up, "I saw them die, I saw them choke on their own blood and stare at me hoping I'd live while they died,"

She nodded,"Of course,"

I sighed a little as he sat up, releasing my hold on him. "Jimin, I don't know what to do to help you. I want to help you but I don't know how. Tell me what you need, do you want me to distract you? Do you need me to stop talking? Whatever it is, I'll do."

He nodded a little. "So I take it you want to get married. That's nice. Many people don't want to anymore."

"I don't know what I need!" he said to her as he pushed a hand through his hair.

She smiled,"I do, I want to get married and have lots of kids once my career is good and I have money,"

I sighed. He had never yelled at me before. I knew he was just yelling in frustration but it still kind of hurt. I laid my head on his lap and looked up at him. "Jimin, I just want to help you. No matter what you need."

He nodded. "I've always wanted to be a soccer dad..." He admitted in slight embarrassment.

"I want them back," he whispered as his eyes watered.

She smiled and laughed,"thats cute," she said crooning at him.

I wrapped my arms around him and held him close. "I know you do." I whispered, stroking his back. "They'll never truly leave you. They're still with you, just in a different way."

He hid his face slightly. "It's embarrassing is what it is. Now you can't tell anyone or else I have to kill you." He teased her.

He nodded,"Maybe," he murmured softly, "Go change," he said to her.

She grinned,"No worries, maybe you will be. Maybe you could be a stay at home dad, that'd be adorable,"

I nodded a little, getting up from the couch and heading to his room. I grabbed one of his undershirts and boxer shorts, going to change quickly so I could go back to him. I went to sit on the couch with him, laying my head on his shoulder.

He smiled. "I'd love that. I don't think people give stay at home parents enough credit actually."

"Me either," she smiled a little, "I don't know being a stay at home parent seems nice, but I think I like the idea of pursuing my career."

He sat on the couch then rubbed his face.

I kept my head on his shoulder, pulling a blanket around me. I didnt know what to say, so I kept quiet, letting him speak if he waned to.

He smiled a little. "I think that's nice. I'd rather be at home."

She smiled a little,"I want to be a midwife actually," she told him lightly, "Delivering babies seems like such a breeze you know? I know it won't always be easy but.. I don't know,"she murmured. "Daehyun thinks it's stupid,"

He sighed as he laid there with her against him.

He laughed a little. "A breeze? It seems to stressful! But he should support you, not tear you down."

I smiled a little weakly, not liking seeing him so upset. I pressed a kiss to his unbroken hand, and sighed. "I care about you. I just want you to be alright."

She shrugged a little and smiled,"I know but.. It's whatever,"

"I will be," he said to her softly.

I nodded. "I know you will be." I said softly.

He shrugged. "You should talk to him about it."

He stared at the ceiling then licked his lips a little,"I don't know when though,"

She nodded,"Maybe I should," she murmured gently as she looked at her book.
