[No worries, haha. I would've posted sooner, but I've been so busy that, up until yesterday, I wasn't really in the mood to roleplay I guess? Same to you! And eh, it was pretty uneventful to be honest. I was supposed to go to a party, but then my friend who was hosting it got sick, so it was canceled, so I ended up at home...like I do every year
This year looks like it's going to be a good year though!]
Annie smiled slightly. "Thrillers aren't too bad. There are some intense scenes, which makes it interesting, I suppose." She said. "Exactly! Life is short, if you stay cooped up inside all the time, how can you really accomplish anything?" It was the sad truth, and something that she'd realized several years back. She couldn't help noticing how he smiled. She knew that it was a genuine one because it reached his eyes.
He had really nice eyes. "I never really understood people who kept entirely to themselves. I can't really talk, my face is almost always hidden behind a book, but at least I get out of my apartment. I feel like life would be way too boring if I stayed there 24/7."
"I've had worse, trust me on that." Steve told her, refusing to actually admit that he knew that he needed to rest up. There was just so much going on out there right now, it was hard for him to just sit there in that hospital bed. "I'll eat, don't worry." He chuckled slightly. "Well, you're doing a very good job then." He was only teasing her of course. He knew that she was only doing what she was supposed to do. He glanced over to Sam. "Have you heard anything from Natasha?"
