"No, you shouldn't feel like that. If it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I could have talked to you at anytime, but I haven't. I've had the chance to talk to you numerous times, but I never did. I'm sorry for that." she said, taking another sip of water. She bit her lip as she looked at Parker, waiting for his reply.

"So, you wanted to talk?" Parker said with a small grin. "That's good! I would have tried to talk but you always seemed so distant. You still seem a little distant." Parker's grin faded moved into a slight frown. "What's wrong?" He asked.

This was it. This was the moment where she had to tell him. She had to tell him that the baby inside of her was his. She swirled the remaining water in her glass, deciding her words. "Well, honestly, Parker," she stopped for a minute, sighing before she continued, "I-I'm pregnant." she paused again, "And the baby is yours." she finished, staring at her glass.

Parker stared at her, frozen. "A-Are you... Amelie, you're sure?" He had to have heard wrong, right? No, Parker knew she was telling the truth and the words were exploding in his head. "God..." He put his head in his hands, then looked up slowly. "Sorry, I know this is harder for you than it is for me. I'm just shocked. We had sex once. I mean, I guess once is all it can take, but..." Parker looked at her, his voice soft. "It's my baby?"

Amelie was kind of surprised by his question, but shrugged it off. “Yes, you’re the father.” she said quietly, nodding her head as she said this. She didn’t know what to say. “It’s just as hard for you as it is for me.” Amelie told him, looking down. She took a sip of her water, thinking of her parents. She hadn’t told them yet, but she knew how they would react. They’d be furious. No - scratch that – beyond furious. “I’m sorry.” She apologized, feeling a little nauseous. She didn’t know whether it was her nerves or the baby.

"No, don't-" Parker let out a sigh, then tried again. "You don't need to be sorry. At all." He looked at Amelie, and struggled with his next words. He was worried she would be offended or angry with him. "Are you... Um, are you going to keep it? It's your decision, I know, so I want to know what you think will be best."

Amelie looked at Parker, "I...I'm not for sure yet." she said, struggling to get the words out. She cleared her throat. "What do you think is best?" she asked, biting her lip. She looked down at her nails, nervously picking at them, like she always did when she was nervous. She kept her gaze down as she waited for his reply.
