Mutation

I shrugged. "Yeah, go ahead. But is there an issue? What's wrong?"

The nurse smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry if I worried you, it isn't that serious. I'm sure it's nothing. I'll be back quickly to take your blood and then you both should get some rest."

She nodded a little,"Of course," she murmured softly as she stretched a bit.

I sat back in my chair and sighed. "What happened? I just remember the crash and then nothing."

"I remember some liquid in the car, and... breaking the windsheild but nothing else," she told her.

I nodded a little. "Yeah. Not much. Well at least we're okay. Bumps and bruises, but not too bad. We're alive."

I had officially lost my mind. I looked around, hearing train tracks squeal against the metal of the wheels. I had at first thought that I keft the television on until I realized that I was at the subway station, and I was surrounded by people in my pajamas. Thank god I thought to wear pants that night, because I was sure the looks would have ranged to stranger if I hadn't. But how did I get here? And dressed like this, no less? I lived a good ten minutes away by walking, had I walked this far?

I looked around, wondering why someone was talking to me. Maybe there were kind people out there that actually offer to help instead of stare. "No, but thank you. I know where I am." I said softly, putting my hands to my jead and attempting to make sense of it all.

Luhan closed his eyes,.focusing on her so that he'd be able to block out the majority of the voices she heard. He could tell she was making a joural of it and he longed to explain it to her, but he held back, knowing he'd be able to help in time when they were ready.

I shook my head, removing my hands from my head. "No, no thanks. I can get home from here. I appreciate it though." I mumbled, turning to walk home and make sense of my jumbled thoughts.

He sighed a little as he watched, sitting on the outside of the window sill. She thought she was crazy. But so did he. It was hard at first, getting used to everything. And she was struggling on her own.

He nodded a little,"Alright," he said to her.

She wiped her eyes then let out a breath before rolling onto her stomach hugging her pillow to her chest.

I turned away, heading up the stairs and walking back to my apartment. I didn't even have on shoes. How did I end up all the way over here?

He sighed a little, watching her intently. He heard her thoughts, telling herself she was crazy. He shook his head and told her you're not crazy making it seem like one of her own thoughts instead of his.

She opened her eyes, "But I am crazy," she spoke outloud, "and now I'm talking to myself, wonderful,"

He watched her for as long as he could before heading back to their hideout.

He sighed a little, knowing this probably wasn't helping her. But what exactly is crazy?

He laughed a little and shook his head, shutting up for now. He knew he'd end up having a conversation with her if he kept it up.

Blair sighed a little,"I dont want the other voices to come back, they're os loud," she whispered.

He sighed a little, wondering how much longer they would have to wait before they could be brought in. The sooner the better, and he knew that they'd feel better once they had help.

She sighed a little then slowly fell asleep, after not having slept in almost three days she nearly passed out in exhaustion./
