I smiled a little, happy that they were getting along. "Well, maybe you could show Paul your car, Josh." I said nonchalantly, but giving him a look.

He sighed in content, stroking her hair gently.

"My car?" he said looking at her furrowing his brow.

She smiled and closed her eyes/

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, Josh. Your car. The half finished camaro in the garage? That one."

"Come on, lets go inside." He murmured, taking her hand

He nodded,"Oh yeah, that one," he smiled a little,"Alright I can do that,"

Paul smiled a little,"Cool we can do that after dinner,"

She nodded a little,"Okay," she murmured.

I shook my head at my brother. That car was his pride and joy, I had no clue how he'd forget. "Alright, and cupcakes are ready too." I said, putting them on the table.

He picked her up and put her over his shoulder, walking back into the house.

Paul smiled,"Oh what kind?" he asked.

She laughed and giggled a little.

I smiled a little, putting them on the table. "Confetti." I murmured, taking one and biting into it.

He carried her up to their room and laid her on the bed, plopping down next to her.

She smiled and snuggled into his chest sighing as she closed her eyes.

He smiled,"sounds delicious," he said to her.

I smiled a little, finishing a cupcake. "I hope so." I murmured, getting up to clear the table. "So, can I ask for help with dishes?"

He wrapped his arms around her and smiled. "So, I thought about getting us a pet, but I don't want a cat, and we don't need any more dogs."

Paul nodded,"sure," he said to her,"I'll help."

"Use the dish washer, thats what its there for," Josh snorted.

She laughed a little,"then what?" she asked him lightly.

I made a face at my brother. "You could help too, but Paul is nice enough to so you don't have to." I murmured, putting hot water in the sink to wash everything off before it got washed. "Thank you." I murmured to Paul softly. "What do you think of him?"

He shook his heas and laughed. "I got no clue. I don't know how to take care of anything else."

She smiled a little,"Maybe a dog would be a good idea, when you're out on your patrols I'd feel a little better with one there," she murmured as she looked at him.

He smiled,"I like him," he said to her smiling a little.

He nodded a little. "Alright, I'll let you pick one out."

"He likes you too. I can tell." I murmured, handing him dishes to put away.

She smiled,"Okay, we can go look," she murmured soft.y

He smiled,"you think so?"

I nodded a little, rinsing off some dishes to pass to him. "I do. And then when you impress him with your knowledge of cars, he'll love you even more."

He sighed in content and kissed her head.

He laughed a little,"If you say so,"

I smiled a little. "You're doing fine." I murmured, passing him the last dish. "Joshua you should take Paul to the garage."

He smiled, then looked at her brother.

Josh stood up, "fine fine," he joked as he nodded to the garage, "come on,"

I smiled a little and looked at Paul, gently pushing him towards the door. "Go ahead. I'll come out in a little bit." I wanted them to bond so whatever I could do I would.

He nodded a little and smiled,"Alright alright," he said to her.
