"Well the founding of Forks, and as well as a few tribal ones," she said as she looked at him,"The entire thing is extremely interesting," she explained, "I mean there has to be some truth to legend right?" she said to him.Paul sighed a little as he walked into the school late, he ran to class hoping he wouldn't get written up.
I looked up, seeing Paul run into class. I had my first and third with him, and he was always late. I kept my eyes down, seeing the teacher immediately take out a slip to give him a suspension. He nodded a little. "Yeah... some truth somewhere." He said quietly. "But it is all very interesting."
I looked at him as he went to sit down, before looking back at my notes. He nodded a little. "Well, if you park right over there, it'll give you a straight walk to the cliffs."
I looked over at him and sighed, knowing that he had missed the beginning of the lecture. I pulled out the beginning pages and handed them to him, only retracting my hand when i heard the teacher call my name.
"Passing notes, Jourdan? Detention for you as well."
I sighed, knowing better than to argue. He was one of those teachers. He nodded. "Perfect. And now we walk." He said, leading her out to the trail.
He rolled his eyes at the teacher then scribbled down more notes. She smiled and climbed out of the car walking with him down the trail, "So what do you do for a living?" she asked.
I waited until the bell rang, standing up to gather my things. I packed up my notes, praying that I didn't get detention on a time that I worked. He sighed a little. "I am... kind of like a Youth Leader for the Elders." He told her. "I'm in charge of a specific group of younger kids."
She smiled,"Thats cool!" she said to him nodding a little,"And kind of...big brotherly of you,"He got up and sighed a little as he looked at her, "Hey, don't show, I never do they won't do anything they don't have the energy too," he told her.
He smiled. "Yeah, thanks. It's definitely interesting." He admitted, holding aside bushes for her.I sighed. "I have to. I can't let it go on my record." I said, walking towards my locker.
I shrugged. "I guess I'll be the first then." I muttered, exchanging my books. "I've got to go to my next class. I'll see you in third hour."He nodded and stepped up with her. "What do you think?"
"Its beautiful," she murmured softly as she looked around with a small laugh then looked at him, "Thank you," she said to him softly. He nodded a little,"Alright," he murmured.
I shut my locker and head off to class, knowing that he was more than likely going to skip class. He usually did, he was notorious for it.He smiled a little. "No, thank you. You gave me a reason to come back up here."
She smiled a little as she looked at him then back at the water, snapping pictures of the sun rise over the horizon.Hesighed a little then stretched as he walked off campus.
I sighed a little, doing my best to focus on the teacher and keep up with my notes. Class went by pretty quickly and I was able to grab my things and be in third hour in no time. I just wondered if Paul would come back for class, or if I'd see him walking down the street as I drove home.He sat back, not getting in her pictures but enjoying the view. He liked it, just being near her. He liked seeing her smile, it made him happy.
He shrugged a little. "Running, being outside... I like being out here. Exploring. Nothing much more than that."I looked at him and sighed. "Do you want to work on the assignment now or wait until later?" I asked.
