Aww, Tachibana I love that ^.^ Mkay, and so I added Simone to the relationships thing - so would she be someone who acts all syrupy sweet and takes advantage of Nuriko in a way that Nuriko sort of justifies it even though it makes her miserable, and the friends all try to tell her to stop it; or a straight up bully who just constantly tortures Nuriko all the time? And then, would you end up humanizing her over the story and eventually everyone likes her? Or would she morph into one of their enemies (or just actually join the enemy completely)?

Can we discuss this enemy? We need a sort of Mutant Brotherhood. Anyone have ideas on the kind of power our nemesis can have? How large of a group are they? Just a few of them that constantly cause problems, or like an entire mutant army? Ideas?

Chapter outline --

So where do we wanna start this? I suggest that maybe someone's a new student, and Emzy could start this up by a new student entering the school? Oooor... We open up straight to a fight, and use the fight to introduce characters and have it be a minor battle? Sort of set up that there's a building issue with this other opposing mutant group? Do we want the school to be doing well when we start, or do we want the trouble to be starting?

What's gonna drive the story? Maybe there's some kind of huge event that'll happen in the middle of the story, and the first half is building towards it? And this way, we have a chance to build relationships between all of the characters with the added pressure of this event, and then afterward, another 'big thing' is set up and now the characters know each other, some of them are or aren't together, and can use that to their advantage and become a team. Maybe by the end, they splinter into an actual crime-fighting group sort of situation? Like actually become a league of their own? The face of the mutants, speaking out to the human public and changing the image attached to their kind?

I absolutely love the Zayn/Freya moment! hahaha. love it. And like you mentioned, I am genuinely looking forward to Liam and the group fighting to get Freya back. If Simone ends up turning evil, do you think she'd be the one Freya would team up with?

It'll be interesting if Simone is one of the bad guys. We have one of our bad guy characters already.

Maybe she can be like some sort of spy from the enemy and goes to school to infiltrate it from the inside to gather information before calling all her bad guys buddy to attack the place? So like maybe the enemy sends a few of their teenage mutants to the school to cause troubles, recruiting new mutants to join their evil group. Maybe this enemy can be a new rival school that nobody knows about yet and their school is about creating an army of evil mutants to train them for world domination or something.

I love the idea of someone new coming to school and let the story move from there. Maybe the school is already a little chaotic from little problems caused by the 'enemy mutants/students' that try to bring the school down by making it crumble from the inside.

I also love the idea of the Mutants Brotherhood. Although, I don't think Nuriko will be in it in the beginning of the story because she's still trying to come to terms with her own power and she doesn't really use it. I don't think anyone in charge of the brotherhood will see her as a potential mutant to be in the group just yet.

Their foetus days make my heart ache.

If Simone showed any genuine feelings towards Freya (she would know since she reads minds and stuff) she would probably think going to the dark side would be a good thing.

Liam could be the new student because as I said earlier, he just got there so, he could be arriving. I'll probably have Freya see him and immediately try to read his mind and can't (which frustrates the hell out of her). I'll also have an insight into the rumors of her and Freya and Zayns friendship.

Maybe Simone's power is something like, 'false memory' thing. Where she can install false memories/thoughts into anyone. So, maybe the bad guys know the powers of the strong mutants in the school because they want to recruit them into their organisation. And since they know about Freya's ability to read mind, Simone uses her power to put in false thoughts to trick Freya into thinking that Simone has genuine feelings towards Freya? I hope I make sense here.

I really like the idea with Liam o_o it works out perfectly x3 Especially with him sort of hearing about her friendship with Zayn. Maybe he takes a liking to her, but he initially assumes she's off-limits and with Zayn? And that could lead to a cute but awkward moment where she dispels the rumor? Or something like that >.>

Yes! False memory... That's pretty cool actually. The closest pre-established power I can think of for that would be an illusionist... What'dya think of that? For her to be an illusionist? x3 Like Loki, not to bring up an entirely different franchise or anything, but lol whoops... x3

So... about this Mutant Brotherhood thing. How do they get accepted into it or are all students in the academy automatically absorbed into the brotherhood upon their joining the academy? Or is there some sort of test?

So maybe to start of the conflict, the school is in dire need of new recruits since the older members are busy with their other missions outside of school and so they're having exams to recruit the students into the brotherhood to fight off the rumoured threat (for now they still have no idea that the enemy has already infiltrated the school by acting as students).

And maybe our characters are preparing for this so-called exam?

I ////love//// the recruitment idea. It can be a way for them to bump shoulders, and kind of start the process of them becoming a group, but also to knock heads a little, too. I feel like Harry and Louis would at first be uncertain about each other, since Louis isn't one to take anybody's crap according to Mari's bio for him, and Harry isn't trusting of anyone.

I think it'd be cool for a few them to have not even really officially met each other, or spoken, before they became selected recruits. Like, they saw each other in classes and/or in the halls, but they never quite introduced themselves. They can also face the challenge of passing the test together, and it would be an interesting conflict to see how they cope when a few of them pass it the first time and a few others don't.

And that could also create a problem if the first 'battle' happens before they're all allowed in, and the group is forced to fight together anyway despite what the professors say because the school needs every hand and every power, and every advantage, that it can get..

So yeah, I adore your recruitment idea ^.^ I think it'd be perfect!

Yes... I like that idea. I mean, it's not easy to work together and through these series of tests, they learn to build their chemistry together. And I also agree with you about Louis and Harry's personality clashing. It should be interesting.

So, no one really knows anyone except our obvious best friends, Zayn/Freya and Nuriko/Scar?

You know, this made me think of Naruto when they're in their Chuunin exam. Like, they were still in the middle of their exam when Orochimaru decided to attack and none of them managed to finish their exam but they still fought.

Anyway, since in my bio, Nuriko doesn't really like to use her power. So maybe, in the exam, they're all put in groups and since she doesn't use her power much, she doesn't really contribute much to her group and that's making her group mates to get quite irritated at her for it, maybe? And when they're forced to fight a real enemy, she learns to accept her true power because she doesn't want to drag anyone down.

OH MY GOD PLANNING FOR THIS STORY IS SO EXCITING I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO START WRITING IT!!

I KNOW, RIGHT? SERIOUSLY.

I think I'll have to check that out x3 Naruto! Haha. But yes, I LOVE that Nuriko would be pushed to use her powers during the battle! It'll be beautiful :'3 And that could be an opportunity for Zayn to approach her at their secret hiding spot later and tell her how amazing she was Maybe a heartfelt conversation about her past and/or why she doesn't like to use it.

I think during the first battle, they could almost lose someone, maybe the reason that it happens is because they aren't working/gelling well together as a team and it puts them at risk. So during recovery they have to face that they almost let a team member down because they couldn't agree on one thing.

And with Scar, I think during the battle she struggles to find a way to use her power without being vulnerable, because in order to stop a person in time, she has to be in extremely close range, sometimes if she's fatigued enough she'd have to actually be touching them. Maybe she could learn afterward that she and two of the others can combine powers? Like, maybe Lynn has a power where she can give something an aura, so Scar's timewaves become visible or something (hopefully that doesn't sound /too/ ridiculous ), and then Harry is able to push those waves further out with his telekinesis to prevent her from having to come close to an enemy. If that makes any sense at all

A heartfelt conversation between Zayn and Nuriko.

I like that idea! They're fighting among themselves in the middle of a battle instead of against the enemy and it puts everyone in danger.

And all this everyone supporting each other, complimenting each other's power is so perfect! That'll work really well once they get along and learn to work together and trust each other. Ah! It'll be such a beautiful friendship.

Well yay! :D I think it has potential for a lot of genuine emotion and serious conversation and also moments where they can see that they work well together.

Any ideas for the headmaster? I mean I'm not gonna say anything silly or nothin' buuuuut...it'd be interesting if the headmaster's name happened to be Simon and he happened to be a British hardass with an attitude and some kind of weird wisdom no one knows about until they've all been recruited and he lets them see he isn't quite the arse that he presents himself to be x3

But that idea is cheesy so we'll pretend I didn't mention it lol

And think about Zayn and Nuriko's powers. They both can heal; one heals people, the other heals nature, in a way x3 And actually they're even more similar since you added that Zayn can control the cells in his body. Like, they both can actually control those forces. I think they compliment each other so well, it's adorable

I also think Freya and Allison could really work well together, because Freya could read a mind and see everything that person thinks/feels/remembers, send that through to Allison, and then Allison would be able to mold and control what that person thinks or believes. If that makes sense >.>

Aaaand Louis and Liam would be able to help each other as well, maybe Liam could create airwaves/static waves that are frequent enough for Louis to run on? I'm just throwing these out there, ignore them if they're terrible lmao x3

The Simon idea is definitely not silly. I kinda like it actually.

EVEN THOUGH NURIKO IS MY CHARACTER AND I'M THE ONE CREATING THE BIO FOR ZAYN, I DIDN'T SEE THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THEIR POWERS THE WAY YOU DO! OH MY GOD THAT IS BRILLIANT!!

In a way, everyone's characters are so fitting with each other. This is amazing! I would totally love to see how Freya and Allison work together (if Richy and Ema agree with your idea). It's like totally cool!
